This is a great place to stay in Venice if your budget is lower and you want to stay in a quiet but convenient area. It's located very close to the Fondamente Nove jetties, about 30 mins by boat from the airport. The area has an incredible church, some nice restaurants and cafes, and a small supermarket, and the main sites of Venice are not too far away. The staff are lovely and you feel very welcome and looked after - checking in and out is easy, your room is kept very clean, and the breakfast is a treat with a great setting by the canal. The only thing that was unexpected is the room opens out into the reception area but I got used to that quickly - and there are two entry doors to the room so it's usually very quiet and still feels private.

Absolutely perfect. Aleksandra was a wonderful host in communications before our arrival, whilst we were there and in making our anniversary special for us. Room was lovely with great air con and shower and was immaculately clean. Breakfast was great with a good range of options available. Lovely little balcony to sit on, overlooking the canal, for breakfast or sipping a pre dinner drink. Location was excellent, in a quiet part of Venice but close to all the water bus stops, both to the airport and around Venice, Burano, Murano and the Lido di Venezia. A range of good restaurants and bars nearby.

Well, I enjoyed having tasty breakfast outside in late October with the view of the canal in Venice 😋😇. This establishment is outside enough from the crowd but close to vaporetto station (waterbus to airport or other parts of Venice) as close to gondola traghetto station (hop on gondola to cross the canal)and famous Ponte di Rialto is round the corner. I took a room with a canal view - nice and comfortable. It's interesting to observe gondolas passing by my window or listening to the sound of the water and blackbirds in the morning. 😇 There's a mini bar in closet with normal prices, nice bathroom, nice and clean. In dinning room there are complimentary cookies, coffee and tea. Breakfast.. well it's pleasant to enjoy in it outside, having a view on the canal. Food is tasty, pastries, cheeses, meat products, mmm tiramisu with ginger jam.. yummy 😋 and more.. Staff is really nice, helpful, spent nice moment chatting with host before leaving... So, if you're easy traveler with light luggage, you're enjoy your moments in this ancient city and rest well in Alla Vite Dorata ☺️🙏☀️

everything was excellent in the hotel. Aleksandra is very kind, helpful and cheerful. I think I've never stayed in such a clean hotel before. I feel like at home. I think our room was the most beautiful one in the hotel. I fell in love with the decoration of the hotel (chandelier in the entering, bed head, ruche on the coffe tables etc.), details are appealing to me. breakfast is really beautiful and delicious. hotel is very close to Ca'Doro vaporetto stop. it is close to rialto bridge and train station by vaporetto. We were a little late for the check in time but Aleksandra waited for us, she is really helpful.

Wonderful location close to the acropolis, shopping, restaurants. King bed plenty of room, Elevator, private entrance, quiet. Price was right. Would stay again!

Like many places in the area taxi drop off at the door is not possible. It was about 100 meter walk to the door which was a little tricky to find at first. There is no onsite staff after 4:00 so make sure your phone is working in case you need help finding your way. It really wasn't that hard to find at all but I had missed an email with entry code (my fault) and had to call, not like a fully staffed hotel.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful while I sorted out a situation with lost luggage. The terrace overlooking the canal in the breakfast area was beautiful. The bathroom was nicely appointed. The location was in a quiet area not far from one of the main ways to get to the train station. The walk to Piazza San Marco was nice.

The room was on the small side, and the "intimate" size of the reception area, well, could feel too intimate, like staying with older relatives.

The hotel was conveniently located. It was not the most touristy area of Venice, which is a plus for me. Most attractions were about a kilometre away, but there were a few vaporetto stops nearby if you preferred that mode of transportation. Friendly staff, good breakfast, recently renovated rooms, everything appeared new and comfortable. I also appreciated the mini-fridge in the rooms and the complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day.

Everything was perfect. The only issue was that my room was on the ground floor, on the street side, and I was woken up around 7 a.m. by people unloading goods from boats that were stopping right next to the property. But since I had to get up early anyway, I didn't mind.

Very welcoming and informative hosts, very attentive staff. Excellent location away from the hyper touristic areas. Easily accessible from Fondamente Nove.

Room is slightly small but that is normal in Venice. Would like to return and book their larger room.

Small boutique hotel with a quiet location in an “authentic” feeling district. Short walk to the full range of shops and eateries. Also close to one of the Grand Canal public water bus stations - and to the express water shuttle to the airport. Very comfortable room; good breakfast; lovely staff.

There was nothing that was not to like.

Beautiful B&B in a quiet street but within 10 minutes walk of Rialto. The staff were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond with accommodating our dietary requirements at breakfast. The breakfast spread was very varied, with delicious jams, fresh bread rolls, cereal, fresh fruits. For non-vegans there were yoghurts, cold meats and cheeses, waffles and pancakes. The breakfast room opens onto a canal - a very idyllic setting to wake up to, although there was only one breakfast table on the veranda. It would have been nice to have more outdoor seating. Checkin was easy and a door code was provided for 24 hour access. There is really very little to improve about this guest house. The aircon in the rooms was affective and very welcome for cooling off after the August heat. We would recommend Alla Vita Dorata to couples, families, friends and solo travellers. Wonderful location, copious breakfast, comfortable rooms and very helpful and kind staff. (bonus that tea and coffee were available for guests to make any time they wished!) Grazie!

Nothing worth noting to be improved. All was excellent and the B&B as a whole offered wonderful value for money.
