Warm room, freshly renovated, with teaketltle minifridge and handdfull of snacks. Note 24hrs checkin with possibility to drop luggage before checkin and after checkout - not usual service in Venice, priceless for late evening flights with chances fir extra delay! Very quiet and peaceful sidestreet

Its 2 more turns too far from ideal location. When at low pricing point in low season there are no questions (for double room its great value for central Venice), I wouldn't pay 3 times more for peak dates because its not THAT great. Its just good fresh peaceful room without breathtaking view. Its not old guard hotel with superb service in fine details. But that is common for Venice and for post-covid tourism in common, just do not go in high season - as for me, Venice is perfect in November no crowds no rains, lowest prices, you can enter Basilica without waiting and being alone on its roof!

Let me start by saying that we would definitely stay there again below is why: Room: It was modern, clean and very charming. We loved our room it overlooked the little courtyard. It was enough for what we needed and we thought it was perfectly located. Far enough away from the business of Venice tourists but close enough that everything was easily accessible. The bed was comfy and the shower was great, and most importantly there was AC, which really helped as we went in summer. Getting there: We thought the directions were easy to follow, especially if you catch the Alilaguna from the airport and get of at Fondamente Nove stop, just don’t do our mistake and google map Ca’ D’oro (gallery) make sure you google Hotel Ca’ D’oro (hotel where you check in). 🙈 the directions from Ca D’oro to Ca De La Fonte were easy to navigate and wasn’t far. Staff: We’re super friendly. We were welcomed by the lovely Katherine, who was very nice and made us feel excited about exploring Venice. The communication with the staff via messages was also very clear and prompt.

The room was spacious, atmospheric and had everything you needed. The wall by the bed was fabulously decorated by a local artist with a large clay art work, which, along with the delicately decorated side columns and wooden beams ceiling, kept the room in synch with traditional Venice. The frosted glass of the shower panel happens to be part of the room's wall, next to the bed: through this, the coloured neon lights shown through to the bedroom: this added a lovely dimmed lighting atmosphere to the room at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with a choice of soft and firmer pillows and plenty of hanging space. The shower room was spacious and modern, yet again the choice of tiles made it still feel traditional.

The room we had overlooked another close building, which caused the room to be a bit dark. Not something that's important when you leave the room in the morning and return to it in the evening. We'd definitely request this room again if we came again

The property was comfortable, in close proximity to all the attractions. Great fresh fruit stand nearby. Air conditioning was cold and a wonderful relief from the heat.

It was incredibly hard to find. The check-in is in an entirely separate building. There is no signage for the check-in building or the hotel facilities. The sign for the check-in building says nothing about the name of the hotel. It is named something different. Even people who work in the businesses nearby don’t know where the building is. It took us close to 2 hours to arrive to our room with luggage in 95+ degree weather

The room was spotlessly clean, had great facilities and good air conditioning! Great location in a quieter part of the city but only a short walk to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful and he gave us directions on departure to the airport using the waterbus.

The shower pressure was extremely poor but we did let reception know on departure so hopefully it’s an issue that will be resolved. We did think an additional charge for changing of bed and towels was unnecessary as never experienced this before. Wasn’t a problem as we had a short stay but keep in mind for over 2 nights it’s €5 for towel and bed changes.

There was 2 small issues, First, we had a lot of issues on the first day with the air conditioning as it was not working properly and with the heat of the summer it was suffocating so we could not sleep properly on the first night, however the issue was fixed around midday of the next day. Secondly, the building does not have a proper reception so you actually have to walk to the “brother” hotel for check in and to sort out any issues and there was no phone on the room which made sorting our issues a bit more difficult than what it would usually be.

The room was really clean and quite comfortable. I travelled with my elderly father and there were no chairs in the room which was tricky as we did lots of walking. I had to bring a garden chair inside in the end. We had everything we needed other than that, oh and a teaspoon. We bought yogurts for breakfast as there was a fridge but had no way of eating them as the coffee station just had wooden stirrers which didn’t get topped up throughout our 3 night stay. Really close for the water bus stop and a coop which was handy. About 15 minute walk to rialto bridge.

A bit of a shame our room wasn’t actually part of the hotel but a few minute walk away as I would have asked for the few things we needed had there been staff available. The room was quite hot and even with instructions we couldn’t get it down. My father found the bed uncomfortable but I didn’t. The two singles were very close to each other though. The entrance is down a dark and narrow alleyway so I wouldn’t personally recommend it to a solo female traveller.

The location is great and 5 min to the F.te Nove water bus stop. Quit location and the blue room is on the ground floor and has access to the terrace that you can use for a morning coffee. The room has a wallpaper with a picture of Venice. Two waters in the frigde, few snacks and coffee for free.

The headboard is a bit damaged but not to worry and you can hear other tourists from another room some times.

Amazing location close to everything. Clean room big enough for three people with no problems.

Main check in area doesn’t show up when you make reservation so Google Maps takes you to the actual hotel and it can be kind of a walk when it’s hot and you have all your luggage to check in and out of. Other than that, no issues.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at "Ca de La Fonte" in Cannaregio, Venice, for a vacation, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. His kindness and helpful guidance to our building were much appreciated. The hotel's location proved to be incredibly convenient. Nestled in the heart of Cannaregio, it offered proximity to local shops, wine bars, and easy access to the water bus stop, just a short 10-minute stroll away. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers!
