We loved everything about the B&B Al Palazetto! It is such an exceptional and beautiful B&B, we loved the historical decor and atmosphere. The location was very nice, in a quiet area away from the crowds but also easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We had the quad suite and it was very spacious, with comfortable beds. We had our own little area with a modern and spacious bathroom. We really appreciated the air conditioning at night, it was warm at the end of April! Davide was a wonderful host, we enjoyed many conversations with him! We really looked forward to the breakfast, especially the panini that David made for us every morning! There were many other delicious choices as well. I enjoyed the cappuccino and fresh croissants. I would definitely love to stay here again the next time I am in Venice!!

We had a great stay at this charming B&B. The host was warm and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet alley, yet just a short 15-minute stroll to Piazza San Marco, making it easy to explore the heart of Venice. Breakfast was delicious, though the portions weren’t overly large. Overall, a recommended place to stay.

The quadruple room would be best suited for a family with two children rather than four adults, as it features a double bed and two single beds. And these single beds are quite small and not the most comfortable for an adult. If traveling as a group of four adults, it may be worth considering alternative room options for a more comfortable stay.

The location of the property is perfect 💯all major attractions are within walking distance, including the closest vaporetto stops which are few minutes away on foot. The owner was amazing, providing information about everything and really attentive when serving breakfast. He even remembered the type of coffee we ordered the first day and asked whether we want the same the following days ☺️ And the croissants served during breakfast were simple delicious 😅

Except for the few mosquitos that were keeping us up at night, everything else was pefect.

The location was superbe, just off a quiet canal about 2 mins from the action. It was in a quiet area, easy walk to everything. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The host was very attentive and very informative. Our room was quite large, had all the amenities needed. We highly recommend anyone looking to stay in an authentic Venetian home, very quiet, but near the action.

We were greeted by young lad Philippe ( I believe Davide's son) . He kindly offered help with the luggage and showed us to our room. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. Shower ( was warned by my wife that showers in Venice are not powerful enough) was great and it didn't disappoint. The biggest surprise was in the morning to get fantastic view from the window, breath-taking, can seat all day watching boats and gondola's passing by. Davide has been brilliant throughout the stay, prepared breakfast, provided useful information, and nothing was to much for him with my silly requests. Hotel itself is on the quiet street, so you wouldn't be awaken by busy crowds of tourist if you would like to have a lying, but only few minutes walk from the restaurants and market. 15 minutes walk to all main tourist attractions in Venice and good 25 minutes walk to the main train station. Overall Venice given amazing impression of friendly people, fantastic architecture, delicious food and wine. Can not wait to come back and thank you for having us.

Great location in the Cannaregio region and just a short walk to the main sights. Tucked away on a little side street at the side of a canal it was very peaceful. It felt like you were staying in the family home which was lovely . Fairly basic but clean and everything you need for a lovely stay. Breakfast simple but plentiful . Very friendly helpful owner

A kettle would be great to be able to make a drink but not a deal breaker

It was a very traditional stay which we absolutely loved. Davide was also very helpful when recommending places to go and provided a map of the area. He accommodated our early arrival and allowed us to keep our luggage in the property after check out because our flight was in the evening. He was very lovely and friendly and had an amazing way of making us feel so welcome.

- Very easy to get to the apartment by foot from the Venezia Santa Lucia train station or the bus station (a 20 minute walk through beautiful canals and tourist attractions). - Located next to a busy street with restaurants, cafes and a grocery store, but it's very quiet in the apartment itself. Amazing views of a small canal next to the building. - Perfect place for exploring the tourist attractions, as it's easy to get everywhere on foot. There is also the public boat stop in a 3 minutes walk. And you can easily get to the Rialto Market by crossing the canal on a public gondola. - The host was friendly and attentive.

It was an extremely comfortable stay at Davide s hotel. The bed, shower, towels, hairdryer and air conditioning were all great. I cannot fault anything. The delicious warm fresh croissants at breakfast were an added bonus.Plenty of jams cheese and meat were also available for breakfast.With cappuccino. We ll be back one day! And such a lovely old 17th century building on a canal. Close to all the restaurants but very quiet. Thank you Davide.

the host was very kind and communicative, he was available on whatsapp for guidance on the way to the bb. the room was designed in a traditional way, very pretty and old style, gave a really nice feeling in this special city.

Breakfast was very modest, could use some fresh fruits and vegetables. walls are thin (old building...) so u can hear your neighbors next door.
