Coffee variation available excellent, fruit choice excellent, Joghurt etc excellent.... Choice of egg variations excellent. Breads, In wouldd have loved to have a plain croissant without verse inside, that is really plain. Minor criticism: some meats, ham, mortadella, salami would have been nice to balance all the sweets. Lovely location : breakfast in the garden , marvellous.

EVERYTHING was 10 out of 10! From the entrance, where you can enter to the hotel literally by boat (magical!), to the staff who made my stay there more than perfect. It's just a hidden gem in the middle of Venice! Location is great cos you're near everything but at the same time you're out of the crazyness of all the touristic places. Moreover, you have lots of bars and restaurants near the hotel (5min walking) very local with a nice italian vibe, and with normal prices. The garden was just perfection, watching the sunset from the garden with a bottle of wine, some crisps and a book. The room (I've got the suite) was very spacious, extremly clean and the deco was just the perfect combination of style and good taste. The views from my room were epic, opening the windows in the morning with the smell of the breakfast and the views of the canals, just magical! Staff was on another level of perfection, always helping and recomending new places to visit. No words for this small hotel!

Our overall experience at Madama Garden retreat was excellent. The room was spectacular and the staff were very accommodating. Our location was perfect and the breakfast was excellent. If we return to Venice we will definitely stay here again.

This little Venetian retreat entirely does away with the usual trappings of Venetian hotels. No clinging to outdated ideas of luxury -- as in some of the chains and faux 4/5* offerings. Instead, a beautiful walled garden awaits overlooking the intersection of two waterways, with rooms superbly well-realised with a serene, homely yet luxurious atmosphere throughout. Service is personal and impeccable for the most part. The location puts you in the heart of Cannaregio and the lively rio della Misericordia.

More information on the available services (breakfast, aperitivo, etc.,) would be nice.

Myself and my husband stayed in Madama Garden Retreat for three nights. We had a fantastic time. It is just an amazing place to stay from start to finish. Breakfast was so good and the views of the garden and the canal were breath taking. I will definitely be coming back here to stay❤ Thank you so much for having us.

Fantastic location within walking reach of all the main sights but in a lovely charming quieter part of the city. The host Lorenzo simply could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Room surpassed out expectations and the attention to detail is incredible. Beautiful,modern but totally in keeping with this gorgeous historic city. Wonderful.

Can't think of a thing. If only I could be back there now!!

The stylish garden setting on the intersection of two busy canals was marvellous. The quality and homemade ingredients of the breakfast were outstanding. The assistance in organising airport transport at a time of a transport strike and an electrical storm over the lagoon was hugely appreciated. A very homely setting.

The staff really wanted to please and be welcoming but there is a fine line between attentiveness and intrusion which maybe needs some thought. Despite all the positives, I can't see the justification for the such a high price for what is bed and breakfast in a lovely setting.

Stunning property and location. Mara and Lorenzo were the perfect hosts organising restaurants and day trips for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

the madams garden retreat is an absolute jewel! the garden is a lovely respite, and we loved the location which is close to everything and yet feels like a magical oasis. don’t miss the meticulously prepared breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries!

The owner, Mara, was attentive, excellent service, the room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. A very private, secure and beautiful location that was very peaceful and serene. We’d return in a heart beat! Highly, highly recommended.
