Amazing staff and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We were greeted with a nice glass of water which was so needed after a warm walk to the hotel. Michaela and Alessandro were so helpful, friendly and kind! Would recommend this hotel - the place is truly stunning. Breakfast was lovely albeit a little limited but great for a light bite at the beginning of a day exploring Venice. Coffee made to order was a nice touch.

Like a lot of other places, unfortunately there wasn’t a good air con system so we had a warm nights sleep.

The hotel has plenty of character and short pleasant stroll from most of the places. We were welcomed by Alessandro - his service was second to none - ranging from booking the restaurant to advising on the best route to view most of the places of interest. He really made us feel welcomed.

We had no views from our room at all; in the end it wasn't a big deal, as we spent most of the time being out, but it was a disappointment

Needed a little bit of work on the outside of the building (but then again so did most of the buildings in Venice) Little bit of maintenance work needed on the main stairwell Small but adequate selection/choice at breakfast (don’t go expecting too much) Was not told that there would be a City tax to pay at the end of the stay. It’s not a huge amount but it would have been nice to know in advance:(The authorities of Rome apply a city tax on all hotels which is charged and collected by your hotel. The tax requires a contribution of 4.00 Euros per person per night for 2 and 3 star hotels, 6.00 Euros per person per night for 4 star hotels and 7.00 Euros per person per night for 5 star hotels)

Great location with lots of restaurants, shopping etc . Alessandro at the front desk was amazing. Super friendly and helpful with great recommendations for nearby restaurants etc

My room was pretty small and just by the entrance. Otherwise it was perfectly fine for the price

The personnel were nice and they even gave us some of my pullovers, which I have left in the room after we were checking out.

The room we have entered the first night was totally cold and was freezing. There was conditioner which was on 16 grad even outside was 0 degree. We tried to change the temperature on it and went to bed as we were very tired after travel. Hower, neither during the nights nor in the morning it was not warming. We were freezing all night. In the morning we have changed the room, where was too warm, and the room was lower quality.

Room: The room was nice and fresh. The AC worked well, a life saver during summer. Breakfast: The food that was offered was good, but the alternatives were not many. Nice breakfast area. Staff: The staff was great, very kind and helpful in every possible way. Location: Good, between the train station and the biggest tourist attractions.

Room: The only downside was perhaps the bathroom that was not newly renovated as the rest of the room. The showering cabin was old, like the rest of the bathroom. Some wall tiles were missing. Breakfast: The alternatives were few. You ended up eating the same rather simple breakfast every day which would not justify the price you had to pay for the breakfast (especially not if you compare with other hotels). The breakfast area was quite small. The above mentioned problems are easily fixable if you take the price we had to pay for our stay into account.

I had a room for solo use, so in my experience solo travellers are never given the best rooms.

Location very convenient to reach by foot all the iconic Venezia area but still out of the crowd. Cannaregio still feels more local and has a lot of nice bacari

The room was stunning and quite spacious and grand; aside from our room's beautiful ceilings and floors, throughout the hotel there were gorgeous period pieces and art work. Also the breakfasts were simply delicious! I'd like to thank Alessander at the hotel for helping to make our trip to Venice so memorable and wonderful! Your suggestions of places to go and walking directions saved the day! You are a treasure! You made sure that my friend and I were both comfortable and had the best stay in Venice. You even helped us find seats at a nearby Michelin star restaurant.

The air conditioner didn't cool the air as much as my friend would have liked. However, I was totally comfortable!
