Very beautifuly furnished room, in a very classical way. Great location, right beside the Canale Grande. Very friendly staff and a (tuned!) grand piano in the lounge. A very beautiful and well-kept building, making you feel like a Venician aristocrat in times of the Doge.

Plastic cups in the room. We would expect a hotel of this class to provide proper glasses and/or cups. The breakfast wasn't really laid out for vegetarians, not even to mention vegan.

It was in an ideal location with a water boat stop right next to the hotel. Beautiful setting and view outside the hotel

The location on the Grand Canal was amazing. We really like having access to the balcony off of the first floor common area for views of the city and stunning sunsets. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bathroom was bigger than expected by Italian standards.

Close proximity to the Ca’ d’ Oro vaporetto (public water taxi) was both a plus and a minus. It meant we could quickly get to anywhere we wished to travel in the city, but it also meant we got to hear hoards of tourists dragging their luggage off the water taxi until late at night. Cannot fault hotel for this, but something to be aware of.

Good breakfast. Very good fruit salad. Prosciutto was missing. Lovely aromatic courtyard.

We could have used More linens and replacements when used. More body lotion. And a line to hang laundry after one hot day after another. Fridge didn’t work.

The hotel was beautiful and in a PERFECT location. The waterbus taxi is located outside the front gates. The courtyard is lovely and away from the main street so it's quiet and a nice area to have a morning coffee or evening drink. The room was gorgeous with a large bed and very spacious (including a large bathroom). The housekeeping was quick and kept the room fresh every day. The breakfast included is a really nice selection and varied, including pancakes, eggs, meats, pastries and fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff were very friendly and the view outside the front door on the dock is spectacular. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Venice. Thank you for making our honeymoon perfect!

Nothing. Loved the hotel and our stay!

Very handy location in Venice, cute and beautiful garden in front, delicious breakfast with plenty of options. The interior of the pallazzio is well decorated and the common areas and view on the grand canal are superb. Bed (in suite) was huge (and this is also the case in regular rooms, it seems).

Tiny details that did not hinder our stay in the least but some equipment were getting old and the shower was leaking a bit outside, even with doors completely shut. It was a bit annoying to have to choose between plugging the phone or the bed light near the bed.

The location, the decor, the view from our room, the breakfast, the court yard, especially when lit up at night, were all amazing.

We would have liked to have had tea & coffee making facilities in the room. I was surprised that for a 4 star hotel, you were not allowed to have a kettle in your room. Also, the bar was advertised as being open from 3-9pm. But when we asked if we could get a drink during that period, we told no alcoholic drinks could be provided. There was even a notice on reception saying you could purchase a drink. So why were we refused one? The tea & coffee making service was also not advertised, so until we enquired about it on the 3rd day, we didn’t know you could purchase this refreshment. Again why were we not advised about it at check-in?

This is the best Hotel we stayed in by far, there was a problem as could not stay there for 2 nights due to a plumbing issue and they moved us to a sister Hotel and we then moved back to stay compensation for missed nights agreed, arranged a private boat transfer to the airport very nice .The manager Enrico is a credit to you company as all you staff and we will return. The position of the Hotel is excellent having stayed in Venice before we cant wait to return. To all future guest treat yourselves and book suit 101 we will when we return

This Hotel nothing, but the Manager of the sister Hotel Foscail was rude and very unhelpful and should be looked into as there are other reviews saying the same

The hotel was easy to reach, since it adjoins a vaporetto docking station (Ca d'Oro), and was close to all of the places we needed to visit during our short stay in Venice. The room was clean, the bed mattress was comfortable, and there is a very nice patio just outside the hotel entrance where you could sit and read and relax (or smoke, if you don't care about all the other guests who find that bad habit highly offensive). The room doors open with a key, so no need to use a magnetic card to unlock them. The desk clerks were very nice.

The bed pillows were a little hard, and on Saturday morning whilst we were out the cleaning girl closed the light in the bathroom that we'd left on on Friday evening. The bathroom (room 003) had no window or ventilation, and the window in the room was next-to-impossible to open (though eventually we did manage to do so). Whilst the desk clerks were very nice, there was only one on duty at a time, so if he/she is on a telephone call or dealing with another guest you might have to wait a long time until it's "your turn".

Reception staff very nice and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful. Very large. We had a balcony that really made our stay amazing. Area stunning. Hotel beautiful and worth every penny.

Silly complaint and not any reason to not visit this beautiful hotel.... However Breakfast staff grumpy and not welcoming, but breakfast was self service so didnt have to interact with them too much. Didn't know there were spa services or meals at the location. Bar always shut. Disappointing as I can always make use of a hotel bar! Safe didn't work in the room.
