Stunning building, beautiful room and brilliantly located on the Grand Canal opposite the Rialto market, directly next to a traghetto stop and a short walk from the Rialto bridge. Well-staffed and all the staff were really polite, extra friendly and spoke very good English.

It wasn’t completely spotless, but it was right at the end of the high season so I would imagine it’s just due a big clean now that there are fewer guests. We had a little difficulty getting the heating to work in our room (but this was sorted for us when we raised it with the front desk). The maid must have noticed we had used extra blankets etc and actually put an extra duvet on our bed which was really sweet of her and we really appreciated.

Authentic Venetian Villa. You feel like you are part of the history while staying in it. I liked the privacy, the location, the coziness, nice clean bedclothes…

Feeling is like a ‘family hotel’. I have a feeling g they try to save on little stuff like new shampoo refill or conditioner refill, breakfast is no items if you come 15 min to the end. Refills are bad side. Also, no item is free in the room like no cattle no coffe machine, no water except from a minibar. Breakfast is rarely included in price, watch it carefully. Breakfast is very plan and the same offer every day. Venue is marvelous dough.

It is a historic building. We loved the lead waiter at breakfast. He was so friendly, made us laugh and remembered our daily orders. He was the highlight of the hotel.

I wish there had been more information on the history of the hotel since it seems to boast historical value. I don’t think it’s fair to make this a ding again say the hotel but when staying in Venice expect floors to not be level and, in our case, the room did sway a little being an exterior room. Our bed sloped because the floor was sloped. After taking a history tour we learned this is very common in Venice. We just didn’t expect it.

This is the 2nd time we stayed here and the place is Gold! Room, location, staff, food, excellent. Right next to vaporetto station. Private dock in front. Chose water taxi pick up from airport. Later took water taxi to end of island Santa Elana. On departure we took vaporetto to mainland to pick up our rental car, like 3 stops very easy. Cocktails, lunch and dinner outstanding. Breakfast is over the top in a palace library room with frescoes. Highly recommend.

I wish the rooftop bar was open. But they will bring drinks up from the bar to the rooftop sitting area. Wish there were more seats for dinner. If your making a last minute choice of the restaurant chances are you can't get in; every night sold out.

Great place for attractive wedding photos - we chose Ca' Sagredo for our wedding in Venice because of its stunning spaces on the staircase to the Noble floor and beautifully decorated rooms, made for wedding photography. There are probably not many better hotels for these purposes in Venice, if any. As for accommodation, the hotel offers decent comfort with a pleasant view of the Grand Canal and a nice neighborhood with restaurants and bistros on Strada Nova. We must appreciate the kind and helpful staff who helped us even with our more complicated requirements regarding our wedding. After returning from the wedding ceremony and taking photos, a bottle of Prosecco and congratulations from the hotel staff on our wedding awaited us in our room. It was very nice of them, we thank all the hotel employees very much.

A slight disappointment for us was the breakfast offer, in other 5* hotels in Venice we experienced a richer breakfast offer. The breakfast here did not match its price. We were not comfortable that 15 minutes before the end of the breakfast time, the staff warned us that the breakfast would end soon, especially when the staff must have seen that we were almost done. We had a far better breakfast at Bar ai Cervi, a few steps from Ca`Sagredo on Strada Nova, they have fantastic espresso and croissants.

The Ca Sagredo is a beautiful old Venetian palace. We had one of their more modest rooms, but it was elegant, clean and well appointed, and the view over the Grand Canal was fabulous. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the meal we ate in the restaurant was pricey, but delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently situated near the Ca D'Oro vaparetto stop.

A truly beautiful palazzo right on the grand canal. A fantastic location and a gorgeous room with a very comfortable bed, stunning frescos and beautiful bathroom. Polite, helpful staff.

The hotel breakfast was very average and the facilities beyond the room were quite limited. But all of Venice is on your doorstep, so just sleep here then head out for breakfast and an espresso to start your day and take it from there.

Beautiful hotel interior, really felt like we were staying in a palace. Breakfast was a wonderful experience. Terrace also overlooking water was very relaxing, could have stayed all day. Staff were so friendly and helpful, top 5 star service and our room had everything needed and more. You are staying in a beautiful museum. Hidden gem. Location is perfect, you can to every side of Venice easily as it's right in the centre.

Nothing at all. Completely exceeded expectations.

The room was very comfortable (bed/pillows) and the bathroom was well appointed with the usual toiletries (shampoo, shower gel etc), plus some additional (razor, toothbrush, shoe sponge). Was nice to have slippers. Excellent air con.

I found it odd - especially on such a sweltering day - that there was no complimentary bottled water in the room. Certainly, cheaper hotels offer this so it was disappointing not to see this from Ca’ Sagredo. It was also odd to have breakfast service start so late - 8am. This is no good for those with early flights or for eager tourists who want to get a head start on the morning rush. Thankfully, I only discovered the late start after I had gone down at 7.30, to find the lovely staff happy to accommodate me early. Another couple came down not realising the late start and where also accommodated, but I would strongly recommend the hotel look at an earlier start to their breakfast service to avoid dissatisfaction of future guests.

Great hotel in a beautiful building on the Grand Canal, close to the vaporetto stop Ca’ d’Oro (2 or 3 minute walk). Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice large room (deluxe double) with stylish furniture. A bit pricey but it was worth it.
