The breakfast was fantastic. All the staff was attentive and friendly. Everything is within 15 min walk. We took the water taxi #1 from train station and to Rialto Mercado stop. It was a short walk to hotel. We loved the maid service. The best was the shower!! Just loved it. We recommend this hotel.

I can not think of anything I didn’t like.we were well taken care of.

A beautiful property that is just outside the major tourist areas, it is on the Grand Canal with a vaporetto stop nearby. The bar is frequented by the hotel clients, given there are few, maybe no passers-by. There are a few tables in front, on the canal — it is just you and the canal. The bar waiter suggested an excellent restaurant not too far away.

The room card seldom opened the room door. The room refrigerator made a loud noise so we had to unplug it. The light switches in the room are very strange, the luggage person didn’t explain them. They need to be demonstrated.

Super convenient - easy access by foot to main attractions and Vaporeto close by. Very professional and helpful staff. Comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms and great views of the Grand Canal (room 202). Good breakfast (fritelli to die for). Lovely bar in evening - great cocktails. We felt so lucky to have found such a great hotel.

The bedrooms were on the small side (but no problem) and the decor a bit brutalist (but thank heavens no swags!). We knew there was no restaurant- there are loads close by - but a cicchetti or two would be great in the day/evening. Also would like a bar in the day in summer. But these are all small points - we loved it.

The property is in a great location next to the Rialto Market. You can take the public water taxi to the market walk 600 feet and you will be there. There are many nice restaurants around and away from all the other hustle and bustle touristy spots. It’s very quiet there at night and safe. We stayed in the annex in a two bedroom apartment for a family of four. It was very comfortable that had a view overlooking the Grand Canal. Everything you could need is within a 15 minute walk. The location is perfect. Our breakfast was included that included meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, breads, salads, cereal, and coffees. Everything was nice fresh and clean and the hotel staff was very nice.

There was nothing to complain about

Location on grand canal was excellent. Be prepared that the canal has boats going by all night as well, though the water traffic is putt-putting slowly, and of course far fewer boats at night. It is part of the charm of being on the grand canal. So fun to arrive right to your hotel by water taxi, costs about 150-170euro from train station, 130euro to airport. Rooms were excellent, all done with a clock theme. Very clean, super helpful staff. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful, yogurt, cheeses, meat, breads, pretty much anything you would want, and wait staff also very helpful. Front desk even made us a to go box when were leaving for the airport at 5 am.

The hotel is ideally located, 5 minutes' walk from the Rialto Bridge and 7 minutes' walk from the airport boat stop. It is also 50m away from the psychological limit of the mass tourists (who come to take a last photo in the street and go back towards the Rialto!), which means the hotel is in a very calm environment. The hotel offers to help you get to and from the hotel. It's convenient. But remember, the Alilagune boat stop to and from the airport is around 7-minute walk away. The breakfast is excellent. If you like half a glass of prosecco in the morning "because we're on holiday in Venice so we can", you'll get your glass of prosecco in the morning! In the evening, you should definitely try their cocktails (FYI, if you don't drink alcohol, their non-alcoholic cocktail menu is one of the biggest I have ever seen). You can either have them inside or outside on small tables small tables on the Grand canal quay. I've been a guest in this hotel five times, and I'm not planning to change my habits in Venezia.

We loved our stay here. Perfect location; close enough to the Realto Bridge but not in the most dense touristy areas. Water access. Breakfast every morning was excellent. The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. Good showers. Excellent service by everyone we encountered working at the hotel. They also arranged water taxis whenever we needed. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The location of Hotel L'Orologio was excellent in a Deluxe Double Room with Canal View. Lovely! A 1 minute walk through Rialto Market and the water taxi. Also, so easy to catch water taxi at Rialto Mercato stop, get off in 2 stops going towards airport, and then hopping on the Alilaguna to the Airport. Fast and inexpensive. The room was clean and the bed comfortable with fresh, crisp linens. The view of the canal was an extra bonus! Breakfast which was included was one of the best with a large selection and the best service ever! I contacted the hotel because I left an item in my room and they were so fast to get back to me with instructions. The best staff ever!

Our room was at the back of the hotel. It was clean well air conditioned and comfortable. Breakfast each day was excellent and with a good choice. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Venice. Will definitely be going back to this hotel if visiting Venice again.

Hot water pot on table handle gets VERY hot and I did burn myself on it.

Beautiful location with the Grand Canale view and good walking/transport connection to all Venice attractions. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly and helped to organise us a lot of things (flowers, water taxi, transfer to and from airport, some small ongoing things). It made this trip unforgettable to me and my partner, hence I can recommend this hotel if you look for a perfect romantic trip to Venice.
