There were rumours on Google about bed bugs about a year ago and that the staff is unfriendly. I think, the problem was long solved. The bed and bedsheets were clean, no signs of any insects (and no signs of bug bites after the trip). People also complain about mosquitoes, but seriously - it's a floating city on water, what do you expect :) The young man at the counter was very friendly and showed me around. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a terrace. Beautiful old building right in the heart of the city, very vibrant restaurants and bars in the area. Highly recommend

There are no lockers, that you can use. I mean, they are physically present in the room, but there are no keys for them, which is quite inconvenient You have to pay the tourist's tax in cash

The best thing about this accomodation was definitely the location. It was 1 minute from vapporeto station Rialto Mercato and 5 minutes from the bridge Ponte Rialto. There were some restaurants right on the street and just across the street there was a fine place for brunch. I truly reccomend it. We paid the tax of accomodation when we arrived, but there were no more extra fees, so the prise was as said and paid by booking. nothing more.

It was a bit noisy because of the sounds from the street, bus I would book it again.

The staff is friendly, the price is fair and the location is great. Simple place with comfy bed. Good value for money.

-There was a power cut in the house one evening so I couldn’t charge my phone. -Only 2 shower rooms for that amount of people can be problematic if you’re on a tight schedule. -They did not give me the *name of the street* to find the place, which is insane (I had to find it on google). How can you not give guests the name of the street!!!! As a result, I wandered around the little streets of Venice for 1h carrying a suitcase to find their location.

The location is great. Very near to the famous Ponte di Rialto bridge. However, they should provide a locker key to keep my things securely. Also, no one will open the door when you ring the bell, the reception guy will unlock it from the top and you have to push. That is also fine but should be written clearly outside. Other things are fine. It should be looked as an usual hotel. It is actually a house where each room is made a dormitory or private room. So, have your expectations accordingly.

Most importantly in this hostel I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone. The staff welcomed me very kindly, they are very relaxed and cheerful. The energy of the whole place is wonderful. The sheets on the beds were new, smelled clean and ironed. The toilets are cleaned regularly and I was very disappointed from other visitors as they left the toilets in a terrible state and that says a lot about people. Another wonderful thing about this hostel is that the location is very convenient because it is in the center and at the same time it is in a very quiet location and you can sleep very well at night. Rialto, markets, bars, and many choices of food were all within 5 steps from my bed. The kitchen is solid you can cook a full meal! Also the internet was very stable. On my way out the landlord shared with me that the house used to be in the service of the army, and after learning the historical importance of this building, I fell in love with it even more. Cheers to the Staff!

The room was neat and clean with a sink in the room for freshing up, and a shared bathroom with 5 rooms, but personally I had no problems with that and neither with the shared kitchen. The staff was friendly and always welcome to help in case of any problem. The location is also very good with markets within a few minutes walk. It took just about 5 minutes more or less to get to the Rialto Bridge. It's a perfect hostel!

Our room had a fan but for the heat I consider it wasn't enough... Too hot to sleep in that room. But all in all, not much to complain.

I booked a bed in a shared room, and was offered a private room with no extra fee, this was very nice. The location is great. Can't say anything about the kitchen, I didn't need it. There was no AC but at least there was a fan in the room.

The "storage service" is leaving your stuff in the reception room where nobody watches it and anybody can enter the building by pressing a button on the door.

Ai Boteri was a lovely accommodation near the Rialto Bridge! My friend and I stayed in one of their bigger rooms with a separate bathroom. The facility was good, and the room was cleaned daily!

The neighborhood was quite busy during the night, not a complaint, but a general comment to know when deciding to stay at the hotel.

The staff let me drop the luggage first and use the toilet and pray. Even prepare me some place for pray and provide prayer mat. There are some reataurant and souvenier shop just beside of the place.

One old italian lady that stay in the same dorm with me curse me early in the morning because my phone sound early in the morning because I need to catch my flight 🥲

The room I stayed was 4 girls room, it is quite spacious, which surprised me a bit due to it is in the heart of Venice.

If there are individual power outlets for each bed and something like a small box on the wall to hold small personal items like phone, classes etc for each bed, especially for upper bunk bed, so that people don’t have to worry their phone would fall of the bed and break, that would be nice
