Barbara warmly greeted us on our first day and helped orient us to Venice. Breakfast was wonderful with a nice selection of sweets and savories. Sunil who served us coffee and managed the staff cleaning was so kind and accommodating. Location excellent. Room beautifully decorated and bathroom and amenities were excellent.

Lack of elevator but understand that this is Venice and that we were staying in a very old building that has lots of historical charm.

Bed comfy. Barbara was great with suggestions of itineraries, how to get to stations using the various transport options, and helping with luggage. Sunil was really friendly and was quick to tidy the rooms, and always on hand if needed. Room was upgraded with electric usb charger next to bed whilst we were there. Plus!

If being picky, items weren't replenished each day in the room, eg decaf coffee after first day, and cotton pads. Our room deal said that wine was included but we didn't receive this. No big deal, and would recommend to others.

The breakfast was awesome. It was nice to eat a good breakfast before going out to walk 4 or 5 miles every day. The staff was so helpful offering suggestions of things to see and places to visit after we fueled up for the day.

If there could have been less stairs to get to the B&B, that would have been nice. But we realize that most of the places to stay in Venice are the same so we feel we choose wisely for this property.

This 16th century building is located on a quiet street, but close to everything. 3 minutes walk from the boat. Few nice restaurants just downstairs. Our host Barbara was very welcoming , gave us good advices and tips, made booking to a great restaurant. Sunil was taking care of our breakfast and everything we needed during our stay. Room is very nice, clean and big. Comfortable bed.

Perfect B&B hotel to stay in Venice. Good price, great location (you could easily get to any place in Venice from there), room was absolutely fantastic, it had interesting design and was always clean and comfortable. Francesca was extremely nice and helpful, she explained everything we needed to get our heads around how transport in Venice works and also some helpful tips. She helped us with planning our outbound (we had a really early flight and she helped us to get from Venice to the airport with no troubles). Also there were some fruits and yogurts left for us in our room so we could get something to eat before we leave, which was really nice.

As for me breakfast could have been better. You certainly won't be hungry, but there's not that much options to choose from, more about toasts, ham, eggs and coffee/juice and yogurt . It's fine for a couple of days (as me and my gf did), but I guess the menu doesn't have enough options for more than three days.

Lovely place very close to the water taxi stop/ gondolas/ markets and restaurants. Old building but nicely done interiors. Family room was very big and very comfortable beds.Breakfast was lovely too! Barbara was super helpful in helping us plan out our days in Venice with some very useful tips.

If you have big luggages maybe difficult to pull through stairs but the staff onsite helped us!

Amazing location, such a cute neighborhood. Incredibly kind and helpful people. Our flight was cancelled last minute and they helped us with our bags and make new arrangements. Also a wonderful and charming breakfast in the morning. We wish we could have stayed longer and will stay here when we come back to Venice!

Barbara and the team were amazing, they could not do enough to help from advising on Restaurants to getting to the airport. The rooms were very clean and Tidy and there is always someone there to help.

There are a lot of stairs to the property travelling with my 83 year old mother I was concerned that several of the hand rails were coming away from the wall.

Just got back from 3 Nights at La Villeggiatura, the premises is a B&B as opposed to a hotel, and as described there are a number of flights of stairs to get to the premises which is on the 3rd floor. This is detailed in the description however I am aware some residents commented upon this and queried that there was no lift. This is in the heart of Venice where nearly all the buildings are "listed" and as such cannot have lifts. The stairs were not an issue for us. We were met by Barbara, who was one of the most helpful hosts I have come across. She made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much bother for her. She advised on where to go in Venice where to eat and how to get there, how to use Public transport ie the river busses and where to get to the different routes stops. She even helped us plan our day to visit the the islands of the lagoon Torcello, Burano and Murano and what to do at each island. The room (5) was on the upper floor and was clean, well furnished and well presented. There is no view from the room as it has a skylight, but that wasn't an issue for us we were only in the room to sleep. The bed was very comfortable. A good continental style breakfast was available. The premises is very centrally located only a few minutes walk from the Grand Canal and many other local attractions with a plethora of good bars and restaurants close by.

The location was terrific - the Rialto Bridge was extremely close, and we found a couple of lovely restaurants close by as well. The host was extremely welcoming and very helpful, she designed us a custom walking tour of Venice.

We were aware that this was a three floor walkup but we were also told that we would have assistance with luggage. The gentleman that was available to assist us, through no fault of his, was not ready for our copious amount of luggage.
