The location was very good as it was close to the Rialto bridge. The room was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable bed, great heating and wonderful shower. The terrace was lovely but overlooked as stated. We left our luggage which was a great help. Lovely old building, bathroom and room was well appointed. Great to have Netflix in English. Card for WiFi and instructions for things the owners would like you to respect.

Room 2 was a bit small to get around the bed. Would have liked a secure place to leave the luggage instead of under the table in the lobby area where you leave at your own risk but it was safe. They were doing us a favour so it’s a moot point. You could hear the front door open but it didn’t bother us. Think the use of the kitchen area was great but it could have been flagged a bit more to guests as it’s a bonus for them.

Owner was not on site but was very helpful through WhatsApp communication. Staff on-site were so kind, especially when we arrived rain-drenched and lugging our suitcases! Yes, you could hear a little sound from the hallway and adjacent rooms, but all guests seemed to be very respectful and quiet while we were there. As they explain on a card in the room, the building has existed for centuries and while they have done everything they can to sound-proof, it will not be perfect in a building with that history! Water pressure in shower was good.

We had a momentary struggle upon arrival as we didn't realize the name of the house WAS the "call" button for the intercom system! This was probably exacerbated by the fact that we arrived in a downpour and were unusually anxious to get inside! It was not a problem for us, but it is important to be aware that there is no elevator.

The property is in a very good location. Rialto is in 6-7 minute walking distance and everything else is very close. We visited all the sights on foot. The room was very nice and corresponded to the photos. It was clean, the bed and the pillow were very comfortable and there is everything you need (wardrobe, small table, coffee and cupcakes, water). Water, cupcakes and coffee were updated everyday. They also clean the room everyday. The checkin went smoothly, we arrived very late but the host gave us instructions on how to checkin. The host is very very nice and ready to help with everything. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a bottle of prosecco which was very cute. Overall I highly recommend this place. I would choose this place again next time I am in Venice.

Very convenient location in a quiet and beautiful street, away from the tourists yet very close to the Rialto bridge. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom looked like it was refurbished recently, everything looked very new and the hot water worked perfectly. Tea and muffins were provided to us every day free of charge. Giovanni is very nice and attentive. Our tv didn't work and he had it replaced immediately. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The pillows may be a little too hard if you like softer ones.

Location is superb, host was very helpful and responsive.

Our room was on ground floor and the windows overlooked the pedestrian street. It was a bit weird seeing/hearing people walking next to the window.

The location is perfect, close to all the highlights yet in a quiet square. If you’re a fan of Donna Leon’s books you’ll swear you see Guido Brunetti or Paola around every corner. In addition the staff that take care of the property are warm and helpful. It’s also an easy walk to the vaperetto stop so easy coming and going from the train station.

Haha, a lift would be nice. But it’s an old building so probably not a possibility.

Nice little guest house, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. The room was nice - we had the one with the terrace. The terrace was a nice place for breakfasts and nightcaps. The room is quite small but the bed is comfortable and the bathroom spacious enough. Aircon was working very well. The staff is very nice. The Vaporetto is very close and so is Rialto and the fish market.

The common area is a bit small and utilised for little. There is a fridge in case you want to chill something. There were no wine glasses, just flutes for sparkling wine.

Great room (large and comfortable to have a snack, work, etc.), friendly staff with great communication. Located at a very central and convenient location, but yet not completely swarmed by tourists. Good restaurants and bakeries in close proximity.

The room's safe is small (not big enough for a laptop) and isn't attached to anything (can be removed entirely). The room in the top floor presented some ergonomic challenges because I'm very tall (e.g. crouch slightly to enter the bathroom, small shower) but that's normal in any old city... it was not an issue to me, but anyone with mobility limitations should check closely.

Location was perfect. We found ourselves going back to the room a couple of times a day to freshen up, we found it an easy walking distance from main attractions so when the crowds got a bit much it was a quiet haven to have a breather. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Good communication and we were very grateful to be able to check in at 2am independently. Room was gorgeous, we stayed in a double with nice big windows for morning sunshine - a delight to have a coffee in bed before getting up - the bathroom a good size and a nice shower. Even a big cupboard our luggage could go in. Everything was kept clean and tastefully decorated, I couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend.

i have been here once in the past as well in the room with the balcony, this time wasn’t available and i stayed in the room on the ground floor and unfortunately it was a little different, overall everything was superclean and the staff did everything to make us feel comfortable, but if you have a chance I would recommend not to book a room on the ground floor, it is noisy and a little bit dark
