The quiet, central location was perfect for my first time in Venice. The host, Matteo, went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and answered all of our questions. He was also exceedingly helpful with our departure. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious. The small square near the B&B featured an excellent restaurant as well. I highly recommend the Corte del Doge di Rialto and would happily stay at there again.

I never write reviews but this place deserves recognition! The location was so perfect! It was close to all the attractions but yet just tucked away enough where it was quiet and felt you got the best of both worlds of the busy and calm areas of Venice. All the main attractions were just a 5-10min walk away. The neighborhood surrounding the place was full of great restaurants and hidden gem shops Matteo our host was wonderful and the most accommodating. He messaged us beforehand with instructions about how to find the place (because we definitely wouldn’t have been able to without his help). He sent us a picture of the entrance with the access key and directions. It was a HUGE help. He even gave us step by step instructions on how to navigate from the airport via public transport and have multiple options. The place smelled amazing too, I am someone who can be sensitive to smells but this place had just the right amount of scent that wasn’t overpowering or distasteful. There was a complementary bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in our room which I think was a lovely and kind touch that makes the service here standout. Also all the beverages and snacks provided in the common area and room were free of charge which is something I’ve always wished for from places I’ve stayed in the past and this place was everything and more I could have dreamed for! There was also an espresso machine that was unlimited and made fantastic coffee! The room was clean and the bathroom was beautiful and had a large tub that I took a couple baths in because it was SO inviting! I would 1000% stay here again next time we come and plan to because venice was a beautiful place to visit and want to come back in the future!

I guess the only thing I can think of is that the bed was a bit too firm for my taste but we were always exhausted for our days that it didn’t cause me to lose any sleep, but would have preferred a bit of padding to the bed.

Fantastic place. Beautiful and renovated interiors. Very clean and comfortable. Nice and helpful owner. The breakfast is very varied, there are eggs, meats, fruits, vegetables, cheeses and sweets. From here, it's a 3-minute walk to the Rialto Bridge.

We enjoyed three days in Corte del Doge di Rialto. The bedroom and bathroom were very neat and tidy with all amenities and could easily sleep four adults. The breakfasts were fine but best of all was the hospitality. Matteo, the host, arranged to have us picked up at the Venice Airport and transferred by water taxi to a block from his B&B. He met us as the water taxi drop off point and helped move our entire luggage to his B&B. He gave us detailed directions and maps to visit the beautiful sights of Venice. Upon our departure, he took us by water bus to the train station where we took the high speed bullet train from Venice to Florence (a great 2 hour trip for $90 USD….we discarded our 4 hour ITA flight tickets, with plane change in Rome, which cost more than $1,100 USD!!!) Without Matteo’s help, we don’t know how we would have found our way around Venice with not a single car on the island. It was fun getting totally lost and then finding our way back to the B&B every time. The B&B is perfectly located for a simple walk to almost anything worth seeing on Venice Island. We highly recommend this excellent vacation stay.

This was a unique experience for us. Our comfortable well-appointed room looked out on a charming courtyard where our host Matteo served breakfast. He created this charming space from an abandoned structure built in the 1400’s! He was a wonderful, thoughtful, and kind host. My husband was having difficulty walking due to a fall, so Matteo walked with us to the bus station carrying our luggage over bridges. It is in a less tourist crammed part of Venice but still close to the Rialto Bridge and other attractions. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay here!

Amazing B&B with Matteo. The location couldn't get any more perfect with restaurants and shops on the doorstep. It was a safe and quiet area, we really felt comfortable. Matteo was extremely kind and helpful. He made us a beautiful breakfast every morning which we ate in the courtyard outside. He left prosecco and food for us and a complimentary mini bar. The B&B was extremely clean. If we are in Venice again we will definitely stay with Matteo.

This charming B&B exceeded our expectations! The room was spotless and comfortable, with a thoughtful touch: built-in USB ports for charging (a lifesaver since we forgot our adapter). They even had a table outside the room with various phone chargers available! We were especially grateful for the cozy lounge area. It was stocked with delicious snacks and a fantastic coffee machine offering a variety of options – perfect for a tired and hungry afternoon arrival. The privacy, comfort, and excellent location made this B&B a true gem. Skip the long walk! The San Silvestro vaporetto stop (route 1) is just steps away, making it a breeze to reach from the main terminal.

This was the perfect place to stay on our third trip to Venice, and my favourite of a good bunch. The cool and spacious apartment was a great refuge from the 32 degree heat outside and allowed us to break up our days comfortably. The courtyard was a lovely place to eat breakfast and also bring back our lunch to eat. Matteo was very kind and welcoming to us and our 5 year old son, and made our stay a great pleasure. We know we will be in great hands when we return to the city, and our son is already asking to go back to Matteo’s.

This hotel deserves 5 stars! It’s a beautiful property, it has everything that five star hotels offer. What a gem! Excellent location near Rialto bridge, in center of everything, but also quiet, it’s new and so clean, wonderful breakfast, free coffee /tea and snacks 24/7. Charming courtyard. Our host Matteo has such attention to detail to make this hotel beautiful. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was just perfect. He even walked us back to vaporetto station to make sure we get to the right boat. Superb service!!!

Wow! This historic property in the heart of Venice is an absolute oasis of calm. It is so quiet and relaxed then a five minute walk and you’re in the hustle and bustle of the city. Matteo is a wonderful host- he cooks the best pancakes and is always helpful. The rooms are lovely- comfortable, super clean and spacious. Breakfast in the courtyard was truly special. We would definitely love to come back!
