Breakfast was unusual as it was ordered individually ahead of arrival but no actual menu from which to make selections. Hotel manager Cecilia was great and recommended a wonderful restaurant literally right across the alley and called for our reservation.

Cappuccino was not piping hot because all breakfasts were served on rolling carts in room. Heated croissants, yogurt and fruit were nice. Generous portions of ham and cheese. High ceilings and big bathroom. The rooms are on floor 2 so a walk up 4 sets of stairs- we travel light. It would be tough with big bags.

We had a wonderful stay at Ca’ Cappellis! Our host, Cecilia, was absolutely amazing—warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was generous and delicious, the perfect start to each day of exploring Venice. The building itself is full of historical charm, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully updated with all the modern facilities you could need. The location was ideal, tucked away in a quiet spot but still within easy walking distance of everything. One of the highlights for us was the piano in the common area, which our son loved playing—it added such a personal and memorable touch to our stay. We highly recommend Ca’ Cappellis to anyone visiting Venice. It truly exceeded our expectations!

Perfect location for a city trip to Venice. in the centre, close to all major monuments, but also in a more quiet area of the city and in the vecinity of some nice pubs, bars, restaurants,.... Nice and spacious rooms with airconditioning, breakfast served in the room, .... very friendly ghost .... and although there was no reception or direct check-in.... the ghost was very easy to contact per whatsapp and was very reactive to some minor issues at arrival. very close to trhe major vaporetto platforms going to murano/burano and very close to grand canale.

Great location, with access to both ferry dock and very central. Beautiful historical building and staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend it. We got the big flat for 5 people and was very spacious.

We had issues with the hacking of booking.com chat, so we received scam messages which looked by they were sent from the accommodation asking for bank details. This was solved once we wrote to the accommodation directly. It was not their fault. I expected the security of booking.com to be more reliable. If we had shared our bank details through those links, we would have lost money.

The location is good. Well away from the crowds (Venice gets extremely crowded in the daytime. Rialto and St Mark’s was always busy). The three bedroom, four bed apartment with two bathrooms (one shower) is fantastic for a family of five (kids not sharing beds was great :) Having a kitchen with big table and living room was great.

Coming home and going out and coming home and going out after long days of exploring Venice The three bedroom is on the top (4th) floor. Tall ceilings make for many stairs per level. But so worth it. You will deserve one or three Gelatos through out the day. * Gelateria Ducale is really close, just down the street. One of the best.

Ca'Cappellis is big, spacious and light and very very comfortable. All the amenities were great, the bathrooms were really big and clean, and the rooms were really comfortable and spacious. There is a lot of cupboard and storage space for clothes, and the beds were really comfy, including the sleeper couches, which are actual mattresses. The fridge was stocked with bottled water for us. The host was fantastic and friendly, and very helpful and communicative. There were ample towels and hotel slippers provided for all guests.

There were a few things lacking like cleaning detergent for the sink and the dishwasher, which we had to buy ourselves and the wifi is a bit slow, but fine for sending emails etc. There is no stove-top coffee pot, so coffee is only by way of nespresso pods. We also had to request additional sheets for the sleeper couches, but these were promptly provided.

Our apartment in Venice provided a fantastic place to relax and unwind during our trip to Venice. The apartment is in a great location, a quick walk from key parts of the city and Vaporetto stops, as well as plenty of nice restaurants, without being overly busy directly outside. The room itself had a quaint Venetian feel, and high ceilings which made the room airy and well-lit, with a great bathroom. The check-in and check-out processes were easy, with simple instructions to follow - overall a great place to stay!

The location, layout of apartment and level of facilities in the apartment were all outstanding. A wonderful place. We were aged 11 to 70 and everyone of us was impressed. Beds were very firm and so comfortable. A bath room and a shower room. Full fridge/freezer, hob, coffee machine and microwave.

Be prepared for lots of steps. We were on the third floor. The age and beauty of the building meant it did not bother us though.

Beautiful, high-ceilinged room in a very old building. Looks down on a highly trafficked Venice street (but not too busy like in more tourist-heavy pets of Venice). Cecilia was very friendly and nice. The space is just off the main tourist drags enough that it’s more peaceful. People on the streets can be a bit noisy at the end of the evening. I felt comfortable in this room and glad I chose it for my days in Venice.

This is an exceptional property in a great part of Venice- close to everything, walking distance to Rialto, beautiful little piazza around the corner but the neighbourhood is a little quieter, which is a godsend in Venice. Beautiful room with 5m ceilings. Amazing shared common room with dining suite and a chandelier. Beautiful fittings and fixtures everywhere.

Nothing to dislike.
