The location is key! The morning and evening staff are super nice. Check in was smooth and easy. The cleaning staff does a great job. The people who work during breakfast are pleasant, on top of the food, and the turn around on cleaning was fast. I will stay here again.

This is my 4th time staying here and I was disappointed with some changes on breakfast. There was no longer a toaster to toast my bread which is key, I missed the hard boiled eggs, and there were these delicious cookies that used to be in jars that are no longer there. I know these are minor but definitely bring back the toaster oven and hard boiled eggs. Also, at checkout the gentlemen working around 3am was drunk. He slurred his words and smelled of alcohol. He couldn’t even walk straight. My family checked out two hours later and he was passed out on the couch. They tried waking him up and couldn’t. It was unprofessional and concerning that he wasn’t guarding the front. Anyone could’ve walked in and grabbed keys or taken any personal information.

The property is perfectly located 150m from St Marks Square. Getting there is really easy - take the number 2 water bus and get off at S. Marco Giaardinetti. The ferry is right outside the train station just off to the left of the entrance as you walk out of the station, and was €9.50 per person at the time of writing. It’s a great way to see a little of Venice as well (about 30 mins to go round) and the stop is 2 mins walk from the hotel. Breakfast was included in our room rate and it was an excellent continental buffet with lots of choices, yummy and fresh. The team in the dining room were friendly and helpful. Our room (449) on the 4th floor was lovely and spacious, had comfortable beds and a decent sized bathroom and shower. We also had a tiny tiny view of the water (per the photo).

The person on the front desk when we arrived was not very welcoming and couldn’t have given two tosses for us being there, which I always find interesting with people given they work in a service industry and depend on people coming to their establishment to pay their wages. To be fair, there was another lady on the front desk and she was most helpful and gave us quite a different experience of the hotel

Location, Location, Location. It is only one block from St Marco, and the same building as Hermes and Jimmy Choo. Great for shopping and sightseeing. The breakfast with Italian pastry and cappuccino was great. The breakfast room is overlooking the shopping streets below . Getting a window seat and I can sit there all morning. The lobby was elegant and cute. It is great to sit in the lobby to sip and read a book.

Perfect location. Large room, clean and comfortable bathroom. Lift and brakfast in the hotel. Helpful staff. We even got a breakfas box for travel, as we left very early.

The room was dark (there was view to another builidng - with public toilettes - 2 metres from our room) and air conditioning did not work (so it woupd be challenging to open the windows and refresh the air in the room). We did not spend any time during the day in the room, so eventually it was no a problem for my family. Apart from that, the room was comfortable and clean, and I would choose this hotel again if I come back.

Atmosphere was charming. It was convenient located.

Please up your ‘pillow’ game. The bed pillows were sad, thin, and sparse. One skinny bed pillow per person is NOT the standard for hotels.

We were slightly late checking out and didn't feel under any pressure. I expected noise so close to San Marco but it was very quiet. Maybe as the room was high. No noise from adjacent rooms either. Walls have a beautiful texture almost soft so I think this is reason. We had a very early flight that morning so sleep was important 😴

Lift didn't go all the way to 5th floor but it did go to 4th floor and a very kind member of staff helped me with 2 heavy suitcases and 2 smaller suitcases.

It was easy to locate and very close to the vaporetto terminal. Bathroom was tidy and clean. Our room was cleaned and we had fresh towels everyday. The receptionists were great. The lady helped us with all our questions re airport transport, the man insisted to hand us packed breakfast for our 6am trip back to the airport! Great service!

Room is quite small. While it is outside the hotel’s control, the fire alarm went off on our last night and we were stuck outside for quite sometime so we didn’t get much sleep before our red eye flight. TV has no English channels.

The best location. It is in the nicest section among high end shops. San Marco Square is steps away. The water taxi and water bus stand is steps away also which is ideal. We were given a larger room without even asking because we had a lot of luggage. The room has a nice modern bathroom and a safe. Breakfast was included. The receptionists were helpful.

The breakfast was just ok. Eggs were always cold. There were only 2 pillows on the bed and they could not bring us more that evening so we had to wait until the following day to get more. The room decor is very tacky however that look is what they are going for and not necessarily bad just important to mention so that you are prepared to see velvet everywhere including the walls. Did not like the fact that the room is carpeted. That cannot possibly be clean. There were stains on the carpet.

Traditional rooms, balcony looking over streets below. Great shops right outside including restaurants and takeaways. Upmarket and designer shops in the same street as hotel. Lovely shower and marble bathroom. Very good breakfast. Staff spoke English and very polite and accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay. Will return! :)

Slightly noisy in the evening from parties in the street below. Really would’ve appreciated a coffee machine or kettle in the room. I was surprised there wasn’t one.

The location is superb, just a couple of minutes from St Marks Square. Very central and convenient for everything. It is 3 minutes walk from the water taxi’s or buses. Our room was warm and really clean. Fresh towels every day. We had a view of the Canal and were right in the hub for shopping and places to eat. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice (typical European breakfast really, ham, cheeses, pastry’s as well as scrambled eggs.) The reception staff were really pleasant and helpful. Loved it and would recommend. Great value for the location.

Nothing to not like. It’s a small local hotel!!
