The staff were absolutely incredible, so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was simple but done well, everything was fresh and clearly labelled. Room was a lovely size, beds exceptionally comfortable and bathrooms very clean.

I wasnt very comfortable with leaving the key behind the desk where they are clearly visible to anyone who walks into reception, so you could in theory say any room number and get the key... they do say reception is always managed but twice we had to wait and ring a bell to give/get the key. Perhaps the hotel could cover the key box so it's not so obvious which room keys are hanging up? 🤔

This hotel is a little gem, tucked away on the quieter Canal San Barnaba in a beautiful historic building. It was easy to get to on the vaporetto with the Ca Rezzonico stop on the Grand Canal within walking distance. We loved it so much we immediately booked an extra night to make our stay three nights. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful, which always makes a huge impression. There is a light filled sitting room overlooking the canal and a couple of small quieter piazzas close by for lunch and dinner. The breakfast spread was great and in another bright room overlooking a garden with shaded lounges to hang out after a long day.

Lovely location by the canal in a quiet part of Venice but still walkable to the main sights. Modern bathroom. Cosy bed. Nice garden area out the back which was shaded and lovely to sit in. Breakfast very good with choice of pancakes, eggs, bacon, granola, yoghurt, toast, cheese and meats, fruit etc. 24 hour desk. We were able to check into our rooms slightly early. Air con kept the room at a comfortable temperature although it did need leaving on all the time as it wasn't overly powerful. I would say the value for money was quite good compared to other hotels in Venice.

Most of the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful but one lady was a bit serious, would have been nice to have been greeted with a smile after our long trip. Rooms were overall very clean but some deep cleaning needed e.g black mould in the shower hose. More focus on recycling and sustainability e.g. you should have a choice of whether you want your towels changing or not, recycling bins provided in hotel.

It is a well refurbished palazzo on a quiet side canal, within easy walking distance of some major sights (Frari, Accademia, Peggy Guggenheim collection) and 4 vaporetto stops (Ca Rezzonico, Accademia, San Basilio and Zattere) Our room was lovely with a view of the internal courtyard, and it was quiet. Breakfast offered a good, fresh selection.

We were troubled by mosquito bites at night, and it was only on our third night when I asked reception if that had any spray to deter them, that they provided an excellent plug-in device which put an end to the problem. It would have been sensible to have this in the room to start with.

I booked this hotel last minute because my original booking canceled on me for no reason and without warning. It can be difficult to get a good hotel for a decent price in Venice that is close to the main plaza. This hotel not only came in handy, but also exceeded.mh expectations. It was beautiful and comfortable. Only 17 minutes from San Marcos piazza and had some wonderful restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff was friendly. The rooms were quiet and the view was nice. We chose not to have breakfast included and found that, with so many wonderful cafes to try nearby, this was the better option for us.

It was an excellent location - right opposite the jazz club which we love, with so many great restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Walking distance to lots of public transport and many areas you’d want to visit. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall a great hotel and stay.

The room was a little dark due to the shutters but once we figured them out (!) it was fine and light and airy.

Location, styling, calm and peaceful away from crowds yet in the heart of Venice.

Although they had a porter service, we didn’t factor the very steep steps up to our room. And as I have a back issue I struggled. This shouldn’t put you off though as I guess had we known and asked for a lower ground floor room they probably would have obliged.

A charming hotel with highly attentive staff. We had a few questions about water taxis and directions and the front desk is always staffed and responsive. On a quiet canal but near to everything. The room was well-appointed. Good quality linens. Nice bathroom. A nice coffee/tea set in the room. Minibar available. We did purchase the breakfast and it was an extensive array of good fresh food. Treat yourself!

Location, great staff, sparkling new bathroom, nespresso in room, easy recharging with usb ports, comfy bed, lovely communal room upstairs.mini bar clearly marked out free water bottles with tea and coffee, there were even slippers! Also beautiful murano glass light fittings everywhere

Downstairs communal room was a little drab and uninviting but i was there quiet off season so very different when hotel busy i imagine. Iwas travelling alone with double room. I believe it was suitable for one not two, bed against wall. Room needed some pictures , no room for bedside tables.

The position of the hotel, right jn the heart of Venice and the potential the building has it to be an amazing accomodation. Nice and helpful personnel.

There are a lot of items that should be improved, to align the quality and the price paid. It looked like no guests were expected, some rolled carpets on a hallway shelf, some boxes on top of the cabinet, vaccum cleaner next to the room door. In addition to this, the sink tap was not working properly, closing by itself unless was kept on a max position, which made it impossible to use it without splashing water all over the bathroom. The one in the shower cabin made the hair wash a real torture, as it had such a low pressure, you needed at least one hour to wash a mid lenght hair. For a 330 eur per night the expectations were quite high, at least for the reasonable items, such as an increased overall quality in used products and serrvices.
