I was exceptionally impressed with the head concierge, Omar, during our recent stay. Omar was incredibly accommodating, professional, and friendly—truly a standout member of the hotel staff. When my friend and I requested an upgrade, we were informed that no upgraded rooms were available for the full four nights we had booked. However, Omar thought outside the box and offered a creative solution: he could move us to different upgraded rooms each day as they became available. Initially, we were hesitant, thinking it would be too much of a hassle. But, Omar assured us that all we needed to do was pack our luggage each morning, and the staff would handle the rest. We agreed and decided not to unpack anything except for our toiletries and cosmetic bags. It turned out to be a fantastic decision. We got to experience several different upgraded accommodations throughout our stay. Each room offered something unique, and it added a sense of adventure to the trip. The final room—on our last night—was the best by far. It included a private sauna, steam room, and a large jetted tub. It was the perfect way to end our five-night stay. Omar also went above and beyond for a friend who decided to join us at the last minute. She couldn’t find any availability online or through the hotel’s website for the three consecutive nights she needed. I spoke to Omar to see if he could accommodate her stay, and he was able to secure a room for three nights. When she arrived and wasn’t satisfied with the view, he was once again accommodating and moved her to a canal-view room for the remainder of her stay. Throughout our visit, Omar was patient, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. The entire hotel staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Their exceptional service made our stay truly memorable.

The mattress was softer than I prefer, as I usually need a firmer one to avoid back discomfort in the morning.

Our room continued this theme with its tasteful furnishings, plush bedding, and marble bathroom, creating an ambiance of comfort and sophistication. Location: One of the major advantages of Palazzo Veneziano is its prime location. Situated close to the Zattere water bus stop, the hotel offers easy access to Venice's main attractions. This convenience made our explorations hassle-free, whether we were visiting St. Mark's Square, the Rialto Bridge, or the numerous charming neighborhoods. The serene waterfront location also provided stunning views and a peaceful retreat from the busier tourist areas. Breakfast: Breakfast at Palazzo Veneziano was an absolute delight. The extensive buffet featured a variety of options, from fresh pastries and bread to a selection of cheeses, cold cuts, and fruits. The hot dishes, including eggs, bacon, and sausages, were cooked to perfection. We particularly enjoyed the fresh juice and the high-quality coffee, which provided the perfect start to our days of sightseeing. The elegant breakfast room, with its warm atmosphere and attentive staff, made for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Staff: The staff at Palazzo Veneziano truly made our stay exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and helpful attitudes. The front desk team was always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and any other requests we had. Housekeeping maintained our room impeccably, and the breakfast staff ensured we had everything we needed each morning. Their genuine hospitality and professionalism greatly enhanced our overall experience.

A Minor Inconvenience: One small issue we encountered was related to the room's air conditioning. Each time the staff came to clean or replenish the mini refrigerator, they removed the card that kept the air conditioning running. This resulted in the air conditioning shutting off, and we had to call the front desk to reset it. While this was not a major problem, it was a minor inconvenience and the only aspect of our stay that we would change.

Location was fantastic, for its waterfront position just a bit off the beaten track, but an easy walk to the grand canal and the major sites. If you have never been to Venice, it’s a pedestrian city and you can’t just pull up in a taxi to your hotel with your bags. You either have to walk your luggage/bags yourself or the hotel will provide a porter for you to do that. Hotel Veneziano provided this service and made this process so simple and quick due to location of the hotel being close to one of the vehicle drop off points in the city. We know some people that were on our cruise that spent over an hour to complete that luggage delivery process. The hotel was beautifully appointed and the interior design was spot on. We had the family size room which was HUGE and two stories! Plenty of room for our family. Free breakfast was great bonus!

The staff was terrific! Always pleasant and offering to assist in whatever. While the room was not a jaccuzi room, it did sit right next to a canal. Watching the boats go by was a treat. Also, the hotel is in a great location - with plenty of walkiing room and large water views with great restaurants in the area. Also close to the vaporetto stops. Breakfast was an unexpected pleasure. Coffee/cappochino to die for; excellently prepared and selected items on the buffett.

OK, the room was small, but it did have a luggage fixture as well as two small seats. Could have been larger

Beautiful hotel. Comfortable rooms. Very Clean. Breakfast was terrific. The waitress and waiters in the dining room were wonderful. They greeted us with a smile and were there for all of our needs. The coffee was fantastic. The food selection was plentiful and delicious. The front desk were very helpful in helping us find our way around Venice.

The hotel was great. This has nothing to do with the hotel. I had a problem with the tickets for the Boat in Venice. I used the machine to buy 3 x 1 way tickets to the parking after I checked out of the hotel. The machine gave me three all day passes for 32 Euro each by mistake. When I tried to get my money back from the ticket window after the boat I was told I need to request it by email. I sent an email and received no response. The Venice Ferry boat over charged me by allot and the ticket window girl had no desire to help a tourist that was overcharged. Left me with a bad feeling about Venice.

Beautiful setting and easy access by water taxi. Gorgeous decor. Rooms are large and air conditioned. Bathrooms are updated and large. Breakfast had everything anyone would want and the staff was very helpful in getting transportation to the airport. The courtyard is also a breezy respite after a hot Venetian day.

Wonderful hotel .Room was very comfortable.We had a deluxe room with canal view which was located on the ground floor .Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely .International channels available including Sky news .Breakfast was good .Bar staff were very friendly and helpful .Reception staff were also very helpful and offered advice .Location of the hotel was fantastic for us away from the hustle and bustle but still plenty of bars and restaurants close .There are water taxi’s outside but we preferred to walk into centre which was about 15 mins away .Overall a wonderful stay was definitely visit again.

My husband wasn’t keen on the coffee.

There is a water taxi stop right outside the hotel and it is only a short walk to the ferry stop. We enjoyed sitting in the bar each evening for a bottle of wine before dinner at very reasonable prices. The staff at breakfast, in the bar and at reception were all very helpful. Very comfortable bed, good shower and interesting night lights in the bathroom. Great location, not in a very busy area but within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go and with good local restaurants.

On our first day the breakfast room was full and we were seated in the back room. We much preferred the main breakfast room so it is worth waiting until a table becomes free.

Excellent location and a beautiful hotel with a boutique feel. The hotel is situated in a lovely area but tucked away, easy to get around with vaporetto stops close by but also easy to walk to the main areas too. The rooms are nicely furnished and provided welcome respite after exploring the city. The staff were especially helpful, polite and friendly and often went out of their way to help.

Very little! Minor things such as I found the pillows a bit hard despite having two. Would have liked better bedside tables, no drawers or shelves to put anything and tiny! Despite tea/coffee making facilities in the room there were never teaspoons or stirrers provided.

I liked the fact that picture didn't do this place justice. Everything was better in reality. I was looking forward to getting back to the hotel, pleasant lobby, great bar and comfortable room. My wife is VERY critical every time we travel and she loved that place. Me and wife are both into fragrances and we wanted to visit The Merchant of Venice shop to sample their products. We couldn't belive when we saw the bottles from the shop displayed in the lobby for guest to test. We would definitely come back to this place

Nothing however if I ever go back to venice I'd like to see the hotel investing into some coffee makers in the rooms and giving the guests a chance to test locally sourced coffee pots. Rooms are equipped in kettles and standard nescafe coffee sachets. I think the hotel would bring the experience to next level with putting emphasis on great coffee in the room
