The room was clean and looked nice and modern. The beds were very comfortable and we were surprised to have a balcony overlooking the city. Couldn't have asked for a better location either. We were able to get everywhere we needed easily, either by foot or train.

Excellent location for exploring the city. It’s very close to Boston Common, and public transportation. Beautiful view from the rooftop bar in the evening.

There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, which in this age is standard just about anywhere, and there’s a $30 daily resort fee no matter what, which I really hate because we didn’t use any of the things that it supposedly is charging for. I despise all fees of this nature.

The room was on the 18th floor with views of back bay which were stunning but the room is in need of some upgrade especially for the cost. The curtain was hanging off the rail and there were numerous marks on the doors and walls. There was also. No fridge I. The room which was a must when the outside temperature was 39 degrees! All the taxes added on made this an expensive hotel to stay in

The architecture may feel a little bit like you're entering a work place but this impression fades very quickly. yes, the property doesn't hide it's age but it's well maintained by friendly but not over-composed, for my lack of a better word, people. So, there wasn't anything to complain about and for pedantic German, that's quite a statement. Well, the price - it's downtown Boston and I seriously doubt you get a better overall quality for a significantly lower price. Certainly recommendable, if I'd be required to put it in one sentence.

Nothing to do with the hotel but because the Boston south beach was recommended in one of the travel guides... well, yeah, arriving from Cape Cod it was quite grounding (not to say disappointing)... so we recommend Revere Beach, which is farther away but still just a few stations with the Blue Line, north bound.

A great "legacy" hotel option in Boston. Appreciate the semi-independent ownership, and hotel has made nice cosmetic updates. Front desk team were also super helpful, and the room was very clean and our two-bed queen room had a good amount of space for two of us. City view was also fun to have, and the hotel location is excellent for exploring all of Boston from. Would definitely consider staying here again if I needed a Boston-based hotel, as it's clean, quiet, and comfortable and very much in line with rates elsewhere in the city.

Elevators were a little slow and building overall felt a little dated, outside of the cosmetic updates the hotel team has made. Also a big events hotel so some spaces might be closed — roof deck was privatized on our final night, which was a bit of a bummer! AC was also a little tricky to figure out/keep on all night.

I had a problem with a very high tub for me in the room and they moved me to an accessible suite so fast that I could hardly catch up! . Great room also. Upgrade. The staff I met was exceptionally competent, understanding (I lost a room key), and friendly. The cleaning service was great. And Revere is a block away from the Common and the heart of everything downtown—restaurants, coffee shops, an old really funky antiques store, an old full of character AMC for rainy days, the trains, walking or quick Uber access to other parts of town, and I could keep going. My five day stay was perfect. Worth every penny. Will stay again next time I’m in Boston! Thanks for everything, Revere!

Fabulous location, right near our evening destination at The Wilbur. Everything about our room was fine - and I loved all the USB outlet for charging our phones. Too bad I forgot to charge my husband's phone. But mine had the return train tickets, so it had to be charged.

We went down for free coffee, but the coffee pot was empty. I told the very pleasant young woman at the front desk, but 10 minutes later, it hadn't been refilled. I do think they should have been prepared for that. Some of us require coffee, first thing! I wish it had been less expensive, bu the added taxes put on almost $100 extra dollars on the bill.

Good location. Different restaurants in the area. Felt safe.

It’s an expensive, large city and the fees and taxes attached to the room price make the stay pricey.

The location of the hotel was excellent and the staff were so friendly. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but at the end of the day not a deal breaker. The restaurant didn't seem to have full staffing which made the wait time slightly longer than expected, but the staff there was nice. I loved the coffee bar downstairs and the green champagne for St.Patricks day weekend was so fun! I would definitely stay here again.

Bed could have been a little more comfortable and the parking was very expensive. It would have been nice if there was a validation option for hotel guests.

Second stay here. First with husband in December 24. We received a great, complimentary upgrade along with a wonderful 😀 reception and check-in. Dinner at Rebels Guild was very nice. Menu options, service, bar drinks and decor truly enjoyable. GLEN at reception is the BEST! This weekend in January 25 was a combination chick trip, bonding with future daughter-in-law and apartment hunting. Glen again did a great job. He gave us a high floor, two queen beds per reservation, sweeping city views and a quiet hall. We enjoyed the Rebel Guild restaurant for drinks and appetizers one night and brunch on a Sunday, delicious. We felt safe always and the location is excellent for Theater District, China Town, Boston Commons etc. Also, love the beds, Bedding and pillows. Housekeeping is always courteous and friendly too.
