The location of this hotel is perfect if you are planning to visit East Carolina University. It is a quick drive away from campus. My family and I picked up sandwiches and snacks from the local grocery store and enjoyed some down time at the pool. It was perfect. The staff, especially the restaurant staff, is so sweet. They decorated the lobby with ECU colors for graduation this past spring, and it added to the joy and festiviities of the weekend. My daughter is graduated now, so I don't have any reason to go stay here anymore, but it's where I stayed every moms' weekend, parents' weekend, and now, graduation. A wonderful place!

Front desk friendly, actually everyone I saw on staff was friendly. Room looked and smelled clean.

The breakfast was notworth the extra costs. Not great options, poor layout with unclear signage, out of yogurt three days, the hot food was very hit or miss on taste. Fruit was always low. It felt like they were running on a tight budget and for how expensive it was there should fave been better options. The pastries/bread were sad looking and no option for something like waffles. Milk not labeled, hard to find. Plates not near buffet. Dishes had to be inspected for cleanliness before use. The staff was friendly, but didn’t make up for the other things.

I had a light dinner at the restaurant. The food was really good. The bartender was fantastic. He was super friendly- made a great cosmo and got to me quickly- He also went out of his way to make me feel at home. I would stay here again! She went out of her way to help me when I ran out of toothpaste and mentioned asking for them to stock hair products as mine had went MIA. She was super chatty and made going to the front enjoyable.

Young man at the front desk was a bit meh- not as friendly as the young woman he was working with. He seemed not as receptive to conversation. She on the other hand was super chatty and made going to the front desk later enjoyable.

The Buffet breakfast was very good and worth the value.

Loud adult party at the bar on Saturday night. Since the bar was in the restaurant, it was hard to ignore. Made our dining experience unsatisfactory. In the future I would choose offsite restaurants for other meals. Our dinner meal was unsatisfactory. My friend had the chicken club, the chicken was cold and no condiments came with the sandwich. I had the blackened fish tacos, tacos were cold, tomatoes were big chunks, the guacamole was in a plastic cup and hard.

Staff super friendly and helpful. We experienced a huge family set back right before our stay and had to make adjustments to our reservation past the deadline. They were accommodating and very understanding.

Was not aware my card would be charged a week before. When I made the reservation the confirmation said I had until 4pm the day before our stay before the card was charged but that was not the case.

Polite and friendly customer service when checking in and out. Room was very spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Toilet flush was kinda slow and it was a bit of a struggle to shut off the water in the tub/shower, maybe the knob was stripped. But overall we had a great stay!

Everyone from checking in to checking out was professional, helpful and friendly. Customer service was exceptional. Food was great in the restaurant and the lady was very helpful and was constantly checking on me to make sure that I had everything I needed.

Overall our stay was nice…clean, friendly staff, good drinks in the bar, etc.

The only complaints were the electrical outlets in my bed were not functional and the quality of the television was poor i.e. blurry picture..…it was either the cable connection or the actual tv..

We visited the Holiday Inn at Greenville for a horse show our youngest daughter competed in and to tour ECU's campus for our oldest daughter. The amenities, the customer service, and the cleanliness of the facility were amazing. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location for a parent visiting child at ECU.

Everything was great with exception of shower. Hair ties from previous guess and dried soap on one of shelf’s. Made me question how clean the rest of room was.
