Great location in the centre. Parking is available at a near by communal place for free and the staff will guide you to the parking, however do remember if you are driving to the hotel to unload your luggage the streets are very narrow. The room is clean, facilities with a kettle, coffee maker etc is available. The breakfast is elaborate and good. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Overall great stay.

If you are on the 3rd floor, the room has a sloping wooden beam if you are tall you can easily hit your head on to it.

The hotel is in the second row of buildings which make up the main road of the town. The room was very nice and the breakfast was very good (I strongly recommend enjoying it for 16 eur/pp). They have a relaxation zone with dry and wet sauna plus gym. The parking lot is about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel (parking is 5 eur/24hrs paid at hotel) so I suggest driving to the hotel, unloading the bags and then drive the car to the parking lot. The hotel KLE is part of the Best Western brand which never disappoints.

ROOM The room was very comfortable and we had a jacuzzi bath with shower over. The room had good aircon and there was tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was large and very comfortable and view out of the windows (double aspect) were of the quaint back streets. LOCATION The hotel was right in the middle of the town and only one block from the Main Street with the restaurants and shops. There is no parking at the hotel but we drove our car to the hotel to unload (beware of the narrow old streets). However, there is parking a couple of hundred metres away and the hotel provides parking slips to put in your car (last 24 hours and costs €5). Parking is free between 7pm and 9am. BREAKFAST The breakfast is served in the cellar area (just to the right as you come into the property) and there is a great selection of items, such as bread, croissants, cold meats, cheese, hot meats, scrambled eggs, fruit, yoghurts and granola. Set us up for the day.

There is no fridge in the room if you wanted to keep any thing cool (we had a 12V cooling box that we brought in from the car and this worked as we had a mains adaptor). The air-conditioning turns itself off after a few hours so if you wake up feeling too hot in the middle of the night, it's probably timed out! The room wasn't very big but that's understandable as the property is a very old building, however, they still managed to fit a large bed into the room, which was the main thing. Just beware that many of the restaurants locally close their kitchens early, (before 8pm) and some do not open on some nights. Also I would recommend booking at most restaurants as they get full early and we saw many people getting turned away.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel located right in the middle of a lovely village. The room was very quiet, spacious, and most importantly—clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful, adding to the pleasant atmosphere.

My only reservation is the modern, open-plan bathroom, which lacked a door or at least a shower curtain, leading to privacy concerns and water splashes. Thankfully, the WC was separate. It's a matter of personal preference, of course. I learned that they have a few rooms with more standard bathrooms, so you might want to write in advance with your request if this is important to you.

Comfortable and modern room with all required features - all to a high specification. Staff friendly. Breakfast very good. Great location. Possible to drop off cases by car outside the hotel even though the central area is pedestrianised. Note: Hotel should add a suggested driving route from the specified nearest car park, 3 minutes away - without this you'll drive around for a while!

Hotel wifi was very hit and miss - could not guarantee to connect when you wanted to. Limited natural light on a morning in the room, but this can be typical of town centre locations.

Kaysersberg is lovely. Excellent location, good rooms, good bed, friendly staff. Parking in the yard at the end of the street. It was our second time in this hotel.

*Better cleaning in the bathroom; the shower curtain!! *The super ugly tv-screen dominating the breakfast room is a major turn-off. As if we were in an American sports café. Would be better if it would be taken away completely. It's not "Kaysersberg-style"

Breakfast was excellent. Location excellent, people friendly and helpful.

Better milk in the room for making tea/coffee would have been good. We found that we could drive close to the back of the hotel to drop off our bags, before parking the car (Kaysersberg has restricted vehicular access).....this could be helpful for people to know. The roads are very narrow but it can be done without much trouble.

Very friendly staff, nice and tidy room. No problem to communicate despite my barely existing French knowledge. :) Hotel located in the beautiful historic "coeur de ville", with lots of great places to visit in walking distance (Centre Schweitzer, wineries, restaurants, etc.) and beautiful hiking opportunities. No parking at the hotel itself, but with public parking just about 3min. away from it, with a cheap parking rate for hotel guests (ticket to be bought at the hotel). Breakfast and coffee very good.

Although Booking.com states, the tourist tax would be included in the price, it had to be paid on top at the hotel. Not really a problem, as it's quite cheap (1,10 EUR for a night's stay, if I remember this correctly), but just so you know. If complaining at a high level is allowed: I would have loved another option to butter at breakfast, for example cream cheese would've been nice.

Location was perfect, just in the cente. Short walk from parking places around the centre. Breakfast was really good. There is no fridge in the room but we could store our stuff at the fridge at reception. The family room for 4 people can be a bit cramped, but that was no big issue.

There was nothing what we really dislike.

Couldn’t fault anything. Location excellent, great room, clean and well laid out. Breakfast was good with attentive staff. Had cocktails in the downstairs bar the night we were there. Close to restaurants with the staff eager to point us in the right direction. Hotel was keen to emphasise the eco credentials of the hotel.

Nothing really. Because of the small streets in the town, a view could not be expected so we wouldn’t say we didn’t like it.
