A great price for a quick overnight stay. Comfortable beds - a little on the hard size. Good size room. Good lighting. The breakfast could be improved. For example using real eggs instead of reconstituted powder. And providing fried eggs as well. Nice croissants! Easy parking.

The scrambled eggs, they were obviously reconstituted from powder. And a better place for storing bowls and plates - they were totally obscured by people standing in front of the toaster waiting while their toast was done. The chairs in the room really aren't comfortable, some cushions would be nice.

TV wasn't working...(to be fair, we didn't call the front desk for help and just let it be, after a little struggle) Needed halal meat options for breakfast...(e.g. halal beef sausages) I think I didn't see a hair dryer (I can't quite remember) Otherwise everything was good!

Our room was on the first floor with access by stairs and lift/elevator. Check-in and check-out processes were simple and in line with the booking. Breakfast exceeded expectations with gluten-free, cereal, continental and regular English options. Tables were cleared and cleaned promptly as guests left the breakfast hall. Staff members were friendly and helpful. There was ample free parking available for both of the nights of our stay.

Nothing fell short of our expectations or needs.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. We like that the breakfast is included in the price of the stay, which is not the norm at a lot of hotels now.

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and always had a room on the upper floor. This stay we were allocated a room on the ground floor and it seemed that the walls were paper thin! The noise from the adjoining room and also the room above us was especially loud and irritating and caused disturbance to our sleep. If we stay here again I will request a room on the upper floor.

Staff are very friendly, made me feel welcome straight away. The room is nice and clean(spacious) Bathroom large ideal for disabled guests. Tea and coffee facilities enough. Welcome mint chocolate was nice. Iron and ironboard also available.. Breakfast buffet was OK, but I would of preferred fried eggs or bolied eggs as I don't like scrambled eggs, but that's me.I would still suggest the Inn.

The only thing I didn't like was the hand rail in the bath tub it is rusty and not very inviting. It definitely needs doing. I have taken a picture of it but will not put it on here because I think it can be sorted, but still gave a good rating.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. In fact, all staff were very nice. I was asked if I preferred ground or first floor, and was given a first floor room overlooking the car park. Not a problem as it was quiet and not overlooked. Breakfast was superb! Help yourself and weekends have cooked English to fill your plate. Very comfy and clean room and bathroom, with iron and hairdryer, and air-conditioning that you can set yourself. Fabulous location with a petrol station and a restaurant in hopping distance, just off the A120.

Signposting could be better. My satnav took me to Panners roundabout and then nothing. I went around and in the wrong direction for 20 minutes. And why the one way system from the hotel? And a slight niggle, pillows could be softer.

The whole experience was very good and quite professional. The breakfast food quality was very good. The location was excellent for my needs.

The breakfast room, nearest the buffet is very busy and cramped. Please have breakfast there and see for yourself. Also a staff member dropped the utensil for picking up hash browns on the floor and just put it back. Reception rang me during a busy time to check we were arriving, after I had booked and paid for the room (Sally). Also initially the reception thought I still had to pay for the room. The room was adjoining and we could hear other guests talking very early in the morning after we had finished work during the early hours.

Lady at reception was so kind to us. We were travelling for a wedding and needed to change- she was so accommodating and really helped us. I didn't catch her name but she had a fringe and wore glasses (dark hair) thank you again! The breakfast was just what I needed! Good variety of things to select. Food was hot and very relaxed atmosphere

Hmm don't really have anything to say really. It was a nice pleasant stay and location is peaceful. Price is good as well especially if you book in advance

The room was large with a king-size bed and a sofa plus a couple of upright chairs. Shower was great. I love that the Holiday Inn Express still provides extra items such as an ironing board and iron in the room. The buffet breakfast is included in the room price and there's plenty of choice. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Parking is free and it was easy to find a space. There's a Toby Carvery on the same site which was a reasonably priced venue for our evening meal. So overall a really good overnight stay.

In our room the air con/heating unit had an annoying green flashing light, indicating that it needed servicing. Very noticeable during the night. We informed reception in the morning as we checked out and they said they'd get someone to look it over.

The moment I walked into the reception area, I was welcomed with a true, warm welcome and assistance. I found the room exceptionally clean and, to the finest details, was taken care of. The room was comfortable and clean. I had a very good stay in the facility.

Some guests came in very noisy, not thoughtful of other gussets who were sleeping. The room next to me banged against the walls. The windows are not soundproof enough, and I could hear the traffic nearly right through the noght
