With the fact in mind we were only at the hotel as a rest spot for a few hours (flight back getting delayed into the middle-morning hours, and us having to hit the road still within the morning), we had little time to enjoy the facilities. However, having stayed previously, I know there's a great little lobby bar, lovely pool. However, the major bonus was the staff. I, like an idiot, had booked a room for Wednesday arrival. Now whilst we did indeed arrive on the Wednesday, this was around 3am. Of course a Wednesday booking would only be ready for check-in at 3pm. After explaining the situation to a couple of the night staff (I had an exhausted 13 year-old in two). I was asked to wait for five minutes. One chap returns, "if you can give me 15 minutes I can have a room ready for you". Just so happens a pilot had that minute left, and he himself headed straight to the room, prepared it, and we were allowed straight in. Excellent customer care, 10/10.

Very comfortable bed and quiet room: good soundproofing (no airport noise) Nice to have bathtub as well. Easy access to good sized swimming pool/sauna etc. Parking Recommend as place to stay for Donington Park events.

Aircon in room not working properly - despite visit by Maintenance team; just couldn't get room down to a comfortable temperature. Soneja at Reception struggled to set me up for a late checkout on 3rd & final day of my stay (she must have been told that it was only available either by booking it online PRE-arrival, or on the actual day of departure itself but ONLY IF Housekeeping were happy to allow it at last minute) - eventually I paid for it on 2nd day as a "favour" and I left ok at 3pm (additional £30 - fair enough)

Attractive modern decor both in room and public areas. Very good size and comfortable room. Quality of food was very good. Apart from the proximity to the airport the location close to Donington Park was a good benefit. Nice swimming pool.

Parking at this hotel is a nightmare. Obviously a larger carpark is needed but also clear parking bay marking is needed as many selfish guests take far more space than they need. Whilst the food quality was good the portions were too large and the prices were too expensive. Likewise the bar prices were excessively expensive. The water in the pool was on the cold side.

I honestly cant complain . The room was clean and I used the bar for one drink and the drink and service were good . I wish I had time to have used more of the facilities , but the hotel was literally just a place to lay my head for the night before catching an early morning flight at East Midlands Airport nearby . All of the staff I encountered were friendly and efficient . I also really appreciated the free minibus service to the airport on the morning of 8th October , 2025 . The hotel isnt cheap , but you get what you pay for and the hotel is good value for money . I think the hotel is ideal for a luxury night away or for business travellers , but for my needs ( literally a bed for the night ) I could have had a cheaper experience at a Travel Lodge , but as I say you get what you pay for and this isnt a criticism of your hotel , more me not ' shopping around enough ! The downside would have been not getting a free minibus ride to the airport though and this was a big plus for me . Overall a great and positive experience for me .

This hotel was exceptional, it was clean, comfortable and 5 mins from the airport. I am rating this hotel as the staff are exceptional and go above and beyond. I was taken ill and had to cancel my flight,it was early hours and we rang them up and explained they gave us our room back where I went to bed until I could ring jet2 to arrange another flight, we ended staying another night which they left us in the same room as we couldn't fly til the next morning. I couldn't eat but they did me some toast honestly I won't stay anywhere else if flying from East midlands. The only thing to nit pick would be the lounge area it's cold and not very comfortable but as for anything else it's a score of ten. Thank you Radisson for looking after us so well

The breakfast buffet had an excellent choice, the staff were efficient and friendly and everything was well presented. The room was ample, the bed comfortable, the bathroom was good and the hospitality tray was acceptable. The gym was well equipped. The bar staff were efficient and the light meals we had were tasty.

It wasn't made clear upon booking that there would be an £8 charge for overnight parking. We weren't initially given the type of room we had requested and that had been confirmed, but when this was changed the key card didn't work and there were dirty glasses sitting outside the room in the corridor. It didn't give a good first impression. Whilst we were able to use the gym early in the morning it was a pity that the pool and steam room didn't open until 7 a.m. which meant we weren't able to use them.

We checked in late after a wedding around 11pm and the staff member on the front desk was great and really helpful. The room was brilliant and the bed especially was very comfy. The hotel was very quiet despite being next to the airport and we didn’t hear and other guests. The breakfast in the morning was brilliant with a hot buffet and then hot drinks and other breakfast items you can request from the staff (included in the price). We ordered coffees and pancakes in addition the buffet and it was all great.

Nothing - although we thought it was slightly strange that there were windows in the bathroom so you can see into the shower/ bath (not toilet which is behind another door) from the bedroom. This wasn’t a particular issue but it may be for some bookers!

The staff were very helpful and polite. All my requests were fulfilled and the staff made us feel at ease. The rooms were good sizes and we were quite happy with the set up. I was also pleased to see that stations had been set up to serve lemon infused iced water. This was really refreshing as the days did get quite warm.

The Sauna and steam room were a slight let down as the steam room wasn't working and the Sauna was very cold on the first day. On the second day the steam room was working but the Sauna was too hot, and multiple guests complained about this. Another issue we has was with the price of room service. Since there are no restaurants close by, the food prices at the hotel were extortionately high and the tray charge seemed a bit steep.

The food ordered to the room, especially the chicken curry was of excellent quality, both the presentation and the flavour. Also compliments to Nana who took the order and delivered the food.

It was too cold during the night. I have tried both, increasing the temperature and switching off the air conditioning but it didn't seem to work or make the difference. I think the switch off did not work, the Aircon just kept running. I have later realised that the is an additional electric heater in room but what is the point when cold air is still blowing?

Breakfast - excellent options for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. Possibly the best breakfast spread I've seen anywhere on my travels. I personally recommend the jam filled Vegan Croissants, freshly baked and worth the 20min wait. Room - it's worth the upgrade to a superior room anywheres in the hotel except maybe an upgrade to a runway view which I don’t think is worth it. Dinner - excellent choice of options for Gf, Vegan and Vegetarian, I had the spicy bean burger (Vg), the first night. Exotic mushroom gnocchi (Vg) the second night, Vegan pizza the 3rd night. However due to difficulties with deliveries they didn't always have some items on the menu. Spa Treatment - booked a back, neck and shoulder massage with Penny which was very good.

Bar prices were on the high side. I think higher than those of a similar hotel say in Nottingham, however I didn’t compare with other Airport hotels in the area.
