Great Mt. Fuji view, located not far away from the station, lake and supermarket. Good room size.

Very basic and not really healthy breakfast (sandwich) - just get something nice from the supermarket nearby and enjoy the 2nd breakfast with Mt. Fuji view from your room, transfer 1000 yen to the station - might be complimentary one time transfer as there is no alternative as there is no proper walkway when traveling with the luggage despite it is just around 1 km away

Accessible rooftop to view unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day. Location was good, near to the Lake within 10-15 walking distance. Walking distance to supermarket and restaurants nearby. Room is clean and spacious.

I had a pleasant stay. Nitpicking about the stay is not worth saying.

The hotel was a little bit of a walk from the station (as we didn't book the shuttle) but it is in a good position between station, restaurants and the lake. The view of Mt Fuji from our window was spectacular as well as from the roof top. We chose the Japanese style breakfast tray was it was delicious

Friendly staff, modern facilities, nice room, tasteful combination of western/Japanese. Small bathroom, but had all you need. Beds were quite hard, it is customary in Japan, but honestly a bit too hard to our liking. Beautiful view from our room on Mt. Fuji, and we were lucky both days to have a clear view. The 4th floor terras provides excellent option to make (tele)pics. Nice detail, a good watermachine to fill up your bottles downstairs.

The breakfast is quite simple, different from what we enjoyed at other hotels, and the breakfast room has a large television on, without a need as far as we are concerned.

Location is very good, so you can walk to many street to find shop, food and OGINO supermarket. Staff at Lobby are nice manner, helpful and I am very appreciate that she is good in English. The hotel has bus for transport to Lawaguchigo station that it’s comfortable. I stay in Watermelon room that it’s big dome-shaped room and I can see Mt. Fuji.

Breakfast was included and had either an egg sandwich with a soup or a traditional Japanese breakfast with coffe and tea facilities. You were able to get your amenities from the front desk (including a face mask!). The washing machine and dryer were awesome (not everyone has one). Choose the view of Mt Fuji if available, because it was the best thing to be able to open the curtains and see it there. They are willing to shuttle you to and from the station just ask in the notes, they are very willing to be helpful. If you get there too late, get a taxi there. Much better than walking in the dark!

The breakfast is very basic. Including breakfast with the stay did not seem like a wise decision.

The fresh towels and water were great to be provided every new day. The view was amazing and the bathroom was great. The room was comfortable and had lots of space and the beds were a great size but could have been a little softer. Loved the pillows. The rooftop view was amazing and it was nice and clean. The little domes were cute and all the fairy lights were so pretty in the garden. The clothes washer was great and the laundry area was nicely set up with detergent and provided clothes baskets.

The hot drink options could have been better, instead of just teas and black drip coffee it would have been nice to be able to get a hot chocolate. The dryer was annoying to use as it didn't dry very well, I spent about 1.5 hrs to dry a full load and had to use both machines, but having to pay seems a bit unkind especially when the dryer took so long. I think a few more explanations of site facilities in multiple languages or a guest explanation book in your room would help. As we even had to turn the fridge on. The smoking area was not very obvious or accommodating if you wanted to have a seat.

Haostay is clean and in a good location. Far enough from the bustle of the train station ...but still an easy walk to the lake and all parts of the town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was provided and while there was not much variety it was good breakfast. The complimentary shuttle bus was very convenient.

While the hotel is in a quiet location, the noises of the hotel at night were very annoying. Gurgling sounds and fans could be heard all night. Even when we switched off every device in the room there were sounds that made getting to sleep difficult.

On a clear morning we had the most amazing view of Mt. Fuji. Both our room and the rooftop view was absolutely stunning! From the hotel, we were about 15-20 minute walk from the main attractions and about 10 minutes from local resurants which was a massive plus to us 🙂 The entire hotel was immaculate as was our room. Both beds were massive which was really nice change! The staff were very curtious and helpful when we asked questions/changes. On our last day, when we were taking our photos, one of the staff even came outside to help us take some amazing photos too ❤️ Just a wonderful time overall!

Needed to ask front reception for utencils like spoons which was a bit inconvenient and we couldn't get the room to cool down via the AC very easily - we ended up turning it all off and opening the window instead. However these were very mild inconveniences overall :)
