great location - supermarket, red line bus stop, and lawson all nearby/within 5min walk, also not too far to walk to kawaguchiko station; nice breakfast included; quite room with functional heating and nice shower; free shuttle bus to and from the station; helpful and friendly staff; super quick self check-in and check-out; it basically has everything you need

check-in is 4pm and can’t be checked in early even if the room is ready which is a bit late and inflexible; also check-out is 10am which is a bit too early and there’s no free hotel shuttle bus between 10.30am - 3.30pm so if you need to go to the station/hotel during this time you’ll need to either walk for about 20-30min or take the red line bus

GOSH, I’M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS HOTEL! 😍 The hotel room is clean and tidy, and the bathroom comes with a bathtub. Essentials like a hairdryer, shampoo, and shower gel are all provided. You can grab skincare kits, toothbrush sets, and other amenities from the lobby—just take what you need. A shuttle bus service runs from the station to the hotel, and they also offer tour visits (reservation required). The bus driver is super friendly and nice, making it really convenient. If you need anything, just reach out to the hotel concierge, and they’ll sort it out for you! There are two buildings, each offering a different breakfast option—Japanese and Western! I stayed in Block B, 6th floor, and randomly got a Mount Fuji view room! 🗻✨ The room is perfectly sized for 1-2 people, and since I’m traveling solo, it felt spacious for me. For the price, I’d say it’s totally worth it! 💯🔥

There's no onsen in the hotel, but you can always ask the staff, and they’ll recommend the nearest public onsen for just 1,000 yen. Don't forget to bring your own towe, or else you have to pay extra 800 Yenl! 😊

1/ Staff: friendly and helpful 2/ Location: it is a large hotel, Lawson store just few steps away, many restaurants around just by walk. Easy to get to tourism attractions. The hotel offers 02 types of free shuttle bus: (1) hotel <=> Kawaguchiko station (main station there)- so you can go to the station and take the train/bus to go where you want in days; (2) to many popular places such as Gotemba outlet, FujiQ, Oshino Hakkai,,,, but remember to make reservation in advance. 3/ Auto check in and check out: so convenient. 4/ Room: we were totally surprised with our room, so spacious. Our random-checkin room is a corner- large room having 02 windows with partial -Fuji view ->So happy. Fast wifi, clean. 5/ Onsen: this hotel doesnt have onsen, but fine, we can enjoy the onsen at the nearby hotel just 5-min walk. 6/ Breakfast: many type of fresh bread, Sausage, cream, sallad, jelly, yoghurt, coffee, water, corn soup, Japanese curry soup, and more.... make us have a full breakfast, simple but excellent 7/ Valuable hotel price for our trip.

1. I discovered assistance for English. 2. The procedure for checking in and checking out was extremely straightforward. 3. The location is very convenient. As a Muslim, I found a halal food restaurant and a mosque nearby, and the hotel is in close proximity to a shuttle bus stop.

1. I had anticipated a dim light option in the room. 2. I expected to find a toothbrush and toothpaste in the room, but they were actually available at the hotel entrance, which I was unfortunately not aware of. 3. The water tends to easily spill outside of the bathroom during a shower since there's no barrier or threshold at the bathroom door.

A big hotel so it seems as they provide buffet breakfast to all guests at 2 locations, but there never seems to be enough sitting space. Or perhaps it was over the New Year festive period that more people are coming for vacation. The room was quite spacious especially the bed for a solo traveller. Free shuttle service to Kawaguchiko Station both ways, but only every 20 mins taking a max of 8 passengers. Free coffee from afternoons onwards and it tasted so good. From the window of my room, I could see Mt Fuji on a clear day.

Location is not the best. But still a 15 h 20 min walk to 2 lake parks. 2 of the bus tour lines are around the corner of the street, so need not go to Kawaguchiko Station to queue for them. The downside is that by the time the bus arrives, it would be quite full. Only 1 convenience store within easy walking distance.

Very good place to stay in Fuji Kawaguchiko. The building is near the lake, and it takes only a 5-minute walk to see Fujisan (of course, if there are no clouds or fog around it). The staff were very helpful and informed me where the nearest public onsen was. The breakfast was very delicious — you could choose between continental and traditional Japanese food. They also provide a free shuttle bus between the hotel and the train station, which is very convenient, especially when you're traveling with large luggage.

Our room was quite small, and it was hard to open large suitcases. There was no space to unpack our things. I expect that higher-standard rooms are larger.

There is free breakfast and free shuttle bus to Kawaguchi lake station. It's valuable to stay here. The room is relatively spacious compared with other Hotel room in Japan.

These are just 9 seats of the shuttle bus (between Kawaguchi lake and the hotel). If there are more than 9 customers waiting to the bus, people need to wait for 30 minutes of next bus.

We had breakfast in building B. Breakfast was excellent. I love your delicious croissant and apple pie. The pastries were excellent. Though there is egg in the egg and spinach soup, would suggest an addition of hardboiled eggs would make the breakfast a more wholesome meal. We made use of the hotel free shuttle bus. It was fantastic! Staff were helpful and polite.

We were disappointed that we didn't get the room which faces Mt Fuji. Wonder how does the management allocate the rooms? Back home, I had sesame seed dressing for my salad and I loved it for the fragrance of the sesame. Unfortunately, I didn't taste the fragrance of the sesame seed at the breakfast venue. I found the dressing too diluted.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay Near Mt. Fuji I had a wonderful experience staying at Toyoko Inn Fuji Kawaguchiko during my recent trip to the Fuji Five Lakes area. This hotel was exactly what I needed – clean, convenient, and great value for money. The location is excellent – just a short walk from Kawaguchiko Station, which made it super easy to explore the area and access buses to Mt. Fuji and nearby attractions. There’s also a convenience store and several restaurants within walking distance. The room was compact, as expected in Japan, but very well organized, clean, and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was spotless with all the essentials provided. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel offers a free breakfast, which was simple but tasty – mostly Japanese style with rice, miso soup, and a few side dishes, perfect to start the day. There’s also a laundry room available, which was really helpful for longer stays. The staff were friendly, efficient, and professional. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were happy to store my luggage before check-in time. Overall, Toyoko Inn Fuji Kawaguchiko is a great choice for budget-conscious travelers who still want comfort and convenience. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Fuji area!
