Hotel LiveMax Hakataeki Minami was a great choice for our stay in Fukuoka. The room was compact but had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is very convenient, with easy access to Hakata Station and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Everything was clean, and check-in was quick and smooth. It’s a practical and well-located option for both business and leisure travelers.

The bathroom had a very deep tub, perfect for a nice hot soak. It was a 10 minute walk to the train station, 8 minute walk to a farmers market/food truck park and 5 minute walk or less from about 3 different grocery stores. Staff were friendly and wonderful and took the the time to give recommendations on nearby attractions and going ons.

It's costs 100 yen to wash a load of laundry, 300 yen to dry and the front desk sells a single use laundry detergent for 50 Yen. (In my opinion the wash and dry portion should be free) the soap charge makes sense though 🤷🏻‍♂️

Reception services are good staff are so nice

Hope they have disposable slippers cuz the slippers feels like little bit dirty , also hope they have safe in the room

Located approximately 15 minutes by walk to Hakata station, the hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms. Staff at the hotel are friendly. Amenities include laundry facilities which are very well priced.

Rooms were clean and had a microwave and e kettle.

The room was a bit small, but it was cheap enough, at least for japan.

Room was spacious and had all the amenities (microwave, kettle, hair dryer, fridge) There was laundry facilities on site And that's about it. There's more I didn't like than liked about this place but it was cheaper than many other options at the time we were looking.

Even though they provide a kettle there is no tea or coffee available on site. We were refused to have another key to our room. Staff was not very friendly or apologetic for the shortcomings of the property. There is no staff on site until 12pm, so you can't leave your luggage. It's further away from the train station than it looks - 20min on foot. No towels exchange unless you stay for at least a week.

Very functional, which is exactly what I needed.

Would have liked a hotel restaurant and a beetter arrangement for breakfast. Cellar breakfast was not very good.

It was close to the Hakata station

The room felt dirty, though there were always staff cleaning the rooms, it just felt like it wasn't clean especially for the price.
