Location was great for my purposes, though it's not necessarily for everyone. I liked that it wasn't right in the thick of things but still very easy to walk to most of the areas a visitor might be interested in. Breakfast was excellent - a little different than some of the hotel buffets you might be used to; I appreciated that it's not trying to be fancy or upscale but concentrated just on having excellent food, which it does, and they're rigid about the time you have to eat but it's a generous amount (either 1.5 or 2 hrs as I recall). Even better the cafe area is open all day long if you want to do some work and have a cup of coffee or whatever, or while you're doing laundry. (There's only a handful of laundry machines but I didn't have any problem finding a time to use them when the were empty).

Room size etc. is comparable to other business hotels; nothing fancy and don't expect to get any work done in the room but that's even more reason the cafe area is a big plus.

The location was great since the hotel was just a block away from 711 and 2 blocks away from Don Quijote/subway station. The hotel amenities which included a wide variety of shampoo/conditioner/bath salts, cotton swabs, cotton pads, hairbrushes, hair ties, etc were also great. The room was not large, but everything was well though of since there was enough space for our luggage, a baby stroller, and 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 10 years old). The free coffee and tea at the lobby and the free rice and soup at night was also a plus. It was also so considerate for the hotel to provide smoothies for checked-in guests who did not avail of breakfast. The breakfast selection was also great especially since it featured a lot of local delicacies and dishes. The check in and check out process was also hassle-free, with the staff at the reception being very pleasant to speak with. Our family had a great stay at The Breakfast Hotel.

It's not a deal breaker, but it was just odd that the façade of the building was made of blue tiles which made it look like a shower/bathroom area. Also, while the location was conveniently near the shopping street, the station, and a few other shops, the hotel was located in the red light district area so we had to be wary when walking around with our kids as the images of the nearby establishments were quite disturbing. Of course, we understand that the hotel can't do anything about their surroundings. Good thing though that the hotel made it up for these with their actual facilities and hospitality. Other than these, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice and helpful staff. We didn't know it was impossible to book a taxi in advance (and Uber didn't work either), not sure if it was because of the weather or the local system, although the front desk kindly tried to make a few phone calls. We were lucky to grab one on the street in the end, but would advise people thinking about going to the airport with heavy luggage to try to arrange ahead. Location wise it's closer to Nakasu-Kawabata Station on foot, but we were directed by google maps to Kushida Shrine Station several times. Would recommend people to set Nakasu-Kawabata Station as their destination if they want to minimize their time walking on the ground.

Great location, easy walking to shopping and food options. Parking was available on the property. The bathroom was larger than in most Japanese hotels. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and even spoke English. I was asked if I had my COVID vaccine card, which I did, and for showing it, I received 3000 yen in vouchers to be used at various locations in Fukuoka.

The room itself is small, especially with two beds. I was only able to find one English speaking TV channel.

I like the location. It’s not a long walk to the metro stations and a comfortable walk to get to the shopping areas. Do not be turned off that the hotel is said to be in the red light district as the area is not seedy at all. The hotel faces the river and is generally a quiet area. Another thing I liked is that the hotel provides free drinks 24/7 such as coffee, tea, juice, water, etc all you have to do is go down to the dining area and avail of these. They also have a rice bowl with fish (local dish) that they serve for free in the evenings, limited time only but really good, comfort food 😋

The only downside for me is the room is quite small. We had two pieces of luggage and if both are opened, there will be no room to walk. 😔

Location; close to subway, grocery, has nearest 7-11 and don quijote is just a few steps away. Bed: very comfy.i can sleep for 7hours straight Neighborhood: very peaceful eventhough there are clubs nearby it did not bother me at all Daily supplies: towels, toothbrush, water.very consistent and i was astonished with the free shampoo, conditioner and bath salt. It smells good too. Staff: very accommodating. A staff even helped me call our driver for pickup since he is japanese and i can't speak the language

Guess more laundry machines.

The amenities! They give free smoothie if you don't have breakfast so you don't leave the hotel hungry. They also have free coffee and water, midnight meal, juice and bathroom amenities! I loved our stay.

The rooms sometimes are not cleaned thoroughly but it only happened like 2x out of the 6 nights we stayed. Alsp, I wish they offer more international food in the breakfast menu.

Easy check in and check out. Multiple access cards per room. Bathroom not too small. And of course the free smoothies every morning! The location was the best part. Just 5 min walk to the station and 9 min subway ride to the airport. Very convenient and ideal. It's just outside of the red light district thank god and there's a shopping arcade 2 mins away.

We liked the wide variety of food for the complimentary breakfast, the central location of the hotel and easy access from the closest subway (the one underneath Don Quijote) The staff were kind and helpful too. She was considerate to offer either Japanese or English guides. We opted for English. Although her verbal explanation was in Japanese, we understood the gist of it. We liked our 7th floor room facing the canal side. The room was clean and neat. It was on the small side, but the semi-double bed was spacious enough. The free amenities included were alright. I was able to reserve the hotel via Booking.com for a discounted price, so we were happy with the value for money.

My husband did not like the pillows, but I was fine with it. Their pillows seemed to have a bean-bag-like part to it that can form a hard ridge if compressed and it made his neck sore the following morning. It also took us some time to figure out how to switch off one of the room lights - without having to take the room keycard out of its holder. (The switch was by the headboardnof the bed). We wished there was also a USB port so we could plug our devices in them to charge, but they only have the power plug option. Overall, it's a decent enough hotel if you don't mind the rooms being on the compressed side. We travelled light, but I can imagine a 23kg luggage would not much space for being opened unless it is on the bed.

The breakfast is really good if you like sashimi! Very good range of Japanese food, with fruit smoothies and midnight snacks and juice available! Even ice cream for breakfast! Front desk staff is kind in calling me a taxi.

Room is really tiny. You probably cannot open two large luggage. Location is close to subway but not bus stop. The Hakata River in front is not as beautiful as you imagined.
