The hotel really was posh: large room, enormous bathroom, balcony, slightly old-fashioned but good quality furniture. The extended continental breakfast was excellent. There was eco-friendly crockery and cutlery. There were two comfortable chairs by the coffee table, as well as one at the desk. Very close to the JR station. If you get lost in the narrow alleyways, look up and you'll see the name of the hotel. Even though my grandson and I had two separate beds, we were still given the excellent children's rate.

The otherwise excellent breakfast (left in the room) was spoiled by instant coffee and creamer. If you could just put a coffee machine next to the microwave or in the lobby, everything would be perfect.

Just a 2-3min walk from the train station. Staff is friendly and tries to speak english. Room was great, you even get some small breakfast delivered at your room in the morning. Its in the center of odawara which is a very good place to visit Hakone (buy the Hakone pass at the station when you visit Hakone). You can also visit the Castle in Odaware or even the beach!

We had some big noise from some AC outside, second night it stopped

Breakfast was fine. Coffee made in the room with bread roll. Very close to the centre of town and the railway station. We used it to visit the Hakone region and staying here was much cheaper than staying further up the mountain. There also seemed to be more to do including shopping in Odawara that further up the mountain.

A bit tricky to find but that is what google maps are for.

The room was big, a bit old-fashioned, but everything worked perfectly. Bathroom with a nice tub, toiletries, etc. An outstanding value-for-money!

It might not be the best choice for your Hakone trip, but it is not bad either. Also, Odawara is much more fun than Hakone Yamoto, more bar, restaurants, and nightlife.

Friendly staffs and near to Odawara station. Surprisingly, they provide a simple free breakfast in the room. (Bread, Banana and Yakult probiotic drink) which wasn’t mentioned in the booking. (Happy with that)

There’s a bit of an unusual smell when you enter the room, but it clears up after the air conditioning and bathroom ventilation are turned on.

Very good location, easy to get to all areas by walking. Breakfast given in a basket for the mornings, included fresh bananas. Very clean. Hotel staff were very pleasant and easy to communicate with in English as they had a translations device.

Window is single panel, so the cold air got in easily, especially in the mornings.

Friendly staff, have free simple breakfast, it’s very old but very nostalgic which I like.

It’s surrounded with night life area, this place is good for adults and couples only, we have a hard time backing our car from that very tight street.

Older hotel with a really nice early Showa vibe (I'll remember the room key for years.) Good room, comfy bed, friendly cool staff. I'll likely return when next in Odawara.

No complaints. Seriously.

It’s on a cosy side street, where you get a taste of 1960s Japan. It is very unique, and it seems like it is from the Showa Era.

The bathrooms need to be upgraded.

The amenities in the room were great. The staff was polite and helpful. The location is excellent as it is just a minute walk from Odawara station.
