Odawara is a scenic and peaceful town, well worth a visit. The hotel is centrally located, so you can easily explore the area on foot. They offer an automatic check-in/check-out service, and everything runs very smoothly. The room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities, and we had a pretty nice view from our room. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast is Japanese-style, which was perfect for us as we were looking for an authentic experience. All the dishes were delicious. I highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Odawara.

Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, good amenities with fridge and kettle etc. There was a free breakfast included which had a wide Japanese and continental offerings. The staff at breakfast were also lovely and helpful. The location is so close to the station and castle and all the sights. Very convenient. CVS is across the street.

It's a typical hard Japanese bed. I had no issues at all but perhaps keep in mind if you do. I can't fault anything with the hotel.

Staff & facilities were exceptional.

The beds were very floor-tatami-like stiff. Be very careful in choosing rooms as smoking options are positioned at the forefront. I made the mistake of selecting the first option & ended up getting a smoke-stained BBQ pit. We asked to change rooms at check-in but were denied due to the entire hotel being sold out. We used up the entire bottle of room spray to attempt to rid ourselves of the ashtray odor that eventually seeped into our dreams. We didn't bother to open our carry-ons in fear of smoke groping our clothes like a pervert on a bus.

We booked the Toyoko Inn as it was a convenient location for the train station. It turned out to be a great choice. Service was great, the room was bigger than expected, had all the usual amenities and had a really good shower. There is breakfast and it was good with quite a few options to choose from. There is also a laundry and a tumble dryer, which came handy. Lot of small shops and restaurants around. Had a great time and would use again!

Good location less than 10 minutes walk from Odawara station, many convenience stores and dining options nearby. Easy and secure access to clean quiet rooms with perfect working facilities, professional and friendly staff always ready to help, we could leave our luggage for a few hours before check in and after checkout Room size is less than one would expect for Europe but everything is well organized and perfectly working

Room cleaning was done only on the 4th day of stay, but it was not a problem for my daughter and I as we kept our room tidy and organized and fresh towels are provided daily.

The location was great, very short walk to station and lots of food options, plus the odawara castle. The staff were friendly and helped us in english, plus were happy to look after our luggage for a few hours after we checked out so that we could explore. The beds were very comfortable. A coin laundry on site was super handy. We were very happy with our stay.

Very handy to Odawara Station Staff didn't have much English but used Google translate and made a real effort to make sure they had understood. We seemed to be the only Europeans and the breakfast was all Japanese but don't let that put you off. We needed to be near Odawara Station early in the morning so stayed 2 nights. Great little restaurant just a few doors down. Sorry forgot name but on the same side and full of customers.

Location a few minutes from station and Odawara castle Staff very helpful Room as expected. Clean. However. As per other reviews. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. The pillow a large rock. But Lucky to have direct view of castle. And the Japanese breakfast was excellent with so much to choose from. Fresh. Staff replenishing the buffet constantly. Highly recommend

Short walk to train station. Decent breakfast. Room was comfortable. A good, budget priced hotel.

Found some long black hairs in the corner of the bathroom floor which is not a good look. The wifi was very flakey. It often dropped out and needed to be reconnected to get an IP address. This occurred at any time of day or night.
