Everything was fantastic! Beautiful and comfortable bedrooms, living room, bathrooms & kitchen. Nice views, especially from living room. Having in-room laundry was great. No one at reception desk, but the staff we saw (outside or cleaning the room) were super friendly and helpful.

Nothing! We visited in green season (early April) so couldn't ski to/from the nearby lift, but we had a car - and it was only a minute drive to the gondola.

There's no shortage of accomodation at Hukuba. However you will struggle to find any as new, modern, and luxurious as Mountain Side. The apartment was huge, comfortable heating/cooling, great Wifi, and well equiped. I was even impressed with the TV having Apple TV functionality so I can stream tv/movies from my apple devices. The view is amazing, you felt like you were in a secluded mountain resort! The staff were very friendly, spoke good English, and always happy to accomodate our needs, including dropping us off into the town or one of the ski lifts. There is a dry room on the bottom floor for all of our ski gear. If you're planning on going up Happo-One, there is a chair lift literally across the road. We used Rhythm Ski Hire which is a 5min walk away to rent our gear.

To be clear, had we travelled during peak Winter there would be nothing negative to say here (other than maybe the lack of tea/coffee). But as we travelled for Spring Skiing, almost everyone was shut for the season, including most restaurants and shuttle services. We struggled to find restaurants walking distance away, having to resort to catching a taxi to/from the accomodation to eat at night. The Happo-One chair lift opposite the accomodation was also done for the season, with the only option to be dropped off at the Happo-One Gondola or Hakuba 47 Gondola and then catching a taxi back. I'd recommend hiring a car if you plan on visiting outside of the winter season.

Great apartment and location. Property seems pretty new and has all the modern facilities.

Location was abit out of the main town (1km) needed to catch Ubers everywhere. We were there end of April, believe there are shuttles during peak season however.

Mountain Side had everything you could need. From amazing customer service to all the facilities. The complimentary shuttle was also great. The location was great - ski in and out.

I like everything they provide. Room is huge and comfortable, location is great, right facing a ski field. All facilities, expecially kitchen is far beyond my expection. Staff is kind and very helpful. I can only describe this place with "Perfect".

Nothing I didn't like, too good to be true. Parking, room, heater, kitchen, bed, service, everything it far beyond what you could expect. They even have a dry room that can store the ski equipment,

The room and view is exceptional. The staff from the 2nd day onwards service was good. Quite a bit of service recovery from the bad first day.

There were no duty front desk the day we checked in. Was not able to contact them and very slow response from WhatsApp number given. Was not a great experience during day 1.
