Excellent and very friendly and helpful staff. Has minibuses and staff will drive you to and from locations (for example ski lifts and restaurants and supermarket) from morning to about 7.30pm for free. Spacious and modern apartments pre-stocked with essential foods for breakfasts etc. Large drying room and gear room. 300 metre walk to Sakka 2 ski lift. 3 minutes walk to Rhythm equipment hire shop.

No Onsen or sauna but Mominoki Hotel is only 3 minutes walk and you can pay 1500 yen to use theirs. 3 levels but no elevator, but staff will carry your bags up and down. Our room (204) seemed to struggle to get above 22 degrees centigrade and was a little noisy being close to outside machinery.

We had an incredible stay at The Hakuba Grand Apartments! From the moment we arrived, the staff—Dave, Takami, and John—went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The apartment itself was huge, immaculately clean, and well-appointed with everything we could ask for. The complimentary continental pantry was a thoughtful touch and made our mornings so much easier. Overall, an outstanding experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hakuba!

Dave and Takami and all the staff went above and beyond to make things easy and comfortable for the whole family. The staff took us to slopes, restaurants and supermarkets They are wonderful and really make this place special. The location is convenient, set in the Mominoki hotel complex with walking access to the Pub and Izakaya Kaz, Rythm rental. You can use the Mominoki hotel Onsen at a fee and even book a private family onsen there. Evergreen ski school is only 3min drive and then take you. You can ski back to the apartment from Saka place lifts.

The staff were excellent- very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Location was very good. Additional services such as shuttle bus and complimentary breakfast basket was a very nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay and are grateful to Dave, Takami and the team for making it a memorable holiday. We look forward to staying again - thank you!

My partner and I had an amazing stay at this hotel during our trip to Japan. The apartment was impeccably clean and well-equipped, providing us with the comfort we needed. What truly set our experience apart was the warm hospitality extended by John, Dave, and Takami. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcomed, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. Each bedroom had its own toilet and bathroom, ours had a bath as well as shower. The kitchen was great and well supplied. We were very well looked after by Dave, Takami and John who gave us great advice, booked restaurants for us and drove us to the slopes, other resorts and restaurants.

There was no lift and we were on the third floor. Good exercise!

The staff at this location make you feel so welcomed and are happy to help you with anything! They go out of their way to give you lifts to places and help you book restaurants or plan your day. They know the area really well, speak perfect english and Japanese, and are lovely to talk to. Their location is fantastic, so close to the bus stop for getting around Hakuba ski resorts, right next to rhythm sports for ski hire, and sooo close to a beautiful onsen that I used every day! The rooms are large, the kitchen space is perfect, the beds are comfortable and the shower and bath is exceptional. I couldn't fault the room, it had everything we needed and they give you so much to help you get started like butter, tea, eggs and milk. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would definitely return.

There isn't a bar in the complex but that is fine as there is a pub two minutes away - everything is within reach, nothing is inconvenient to get to.

- Very pleasant, very clean (if you can over look the tiny flying bugs that are the testament of its naturalistic surrounding). - Very friendly. David was more than accommodating. - The room comes fully with complimentary breakfast items like bread, eggs, milk, juice, tea, coffee, cereals and fresh bananas. - Situated in the cottage village higher up from the town center. Takes a little while to drive but not a problem with a car.

- We had a little problem with the hot water rather late at night, but David was very kind to help.

Dave and Takami made our stay at Hakuba Grand amazing! From booking to arrival we were completely taken care of and settled right in. A complimentary lift from the train station and occasionally to the supermarket was a huge help. The apartments themselves are roomy, exceptionally clean and have everything you need, breakfast items were provided and it also contains everything for home cooking. A drying room and washing machine on the ground floor are super handy. Only a few minutes walk to the closest lifts and rental facilities, as well as close to a variety of restaurants and shops for dinner really helped. The kids got a kick out of the snowball makers and toboggans for communal use out front. We will definitely be back! :)
