Our room was very comfortable with everything you could need. The standout about the property was the service, which was exceptional. All the staff, from the reception to the restaurant and beyond, were so friendly and went over and above to help. We particularly loved the ski service, having our warm ski boots handed to us and skis ready loaded for transfer to the slopes. Another highlight was the always-available Japanese tea and snacks, complete with marshmallows to roast over the open fire.

The only very minor suggestion is to include an English-language TV channel.

Staff were wonderful. I’ve not experienced service and genuine care like it. The assistance with restaurant bookings, driver to take us to ski slopes, ski valet, every attention was provided for our stay. The breakfast was 5 star + . The fireplace with marshmallows and hot tea and snacks was a lovely touch.

The property’s charm was also what let it down. The need to walk outside to our rooms meant an anxious walk across slippery snow/icy steps and pathway. It needed heating to keep it clear as it was a real hazard that couldn’t be avoided. The bathroom had no underfloor heating. The little portable oil heater just didn’t provide enough warmth, especially as the snow was piled up in the outside window (we were in ground floor)

The staff were so accommodating and polite. The location was great, and the hotel free shuttle buses meant we barely had to walk anywhere. Breakfast was delicious and dinner, if you opt for it. Having our snow gear packed away in the afternoon and brought out in the morning was very luxe. The room was big with 2 single beds and we got the jacuzzi which was a nice addition.

The pillow were too soft and the building for the rooms were separate to the main building so it was abit sketchy walking on the snow path in-between. We paid a lot of money staying here so I wouldn't want to spend that much again.

Exceptional, professional and courteous staff who were always smiling and willing to help. Rooms are quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast included was delicious and there was a variety of options. Transport options to snow resorts are good with hotel shuttles to different connecting hubs. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that is services by various resort shuttles also.

Location and proximity to Hakuba so eating options are limited. Transport options from the hotel are also limited and while walking is an option, it's not ideal with the narrow streets, traffic and cold (we were there during heavy snowfalls). The hotel helped with transport as much as they could and have a shuttle to other HHG properties. Public transport options and taxi services are difficult to find.

The staff were amazing. They were the most attentive and friendly of anywhere we have stayed. From booking restaurants to cleaning skis and retrieving laundry from the washing machine. Loved having a wine sitting by the fireplace and kids toasting marshmallows. Beds and pillows were great, spa bath and shower were excellent, very spacious rooms. Breakfast was great, particularly the eggs.

Rooms were a little bit tired and could do with a refresh, hotel restaurant was a set menu for evening meals and very expensive per person, requiring 1-2 days prior reservation. Location was a just out of the main hub but the hotel drivers could drop you to restaurants etc so wasn’t a problem for us. Only one washing machine, however it was complimentary.

I travelled with family and had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Neige. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, promptly addressing all my requests. Since I didn’t rent a car this time, I was initially concerned about transportation. However, the hotel made it effortless by arranging taxis for me whenever needed. If taxis were unavailable, they provided alternative transportation, ensuring their guests were never left unattended. They also offered a complimentary shuttle service to destinations within the HHG group. The hotel’s location is great, about 5-minute walk to Sakkai in ski boots. Breakfast was great, the buffet wasn’t overwhelming with too many options, but every item was of great quality. The hotel also provided complimentary drinks, juices, and cookies in the main lobby. This was a lifesaver for me since I was traveling with a 3-year-old. I didn’t have to think about where to get snacks for him after a long day of skiing. There was a minor issue with our bathtub drainage, but the hotel quickly came up with a solution, so I won’t complain about this small hiccup during our stay. Overall, the experience was great, and my family had a wonderful time at Hotel La Neige. I was recommended this place by a friend and would gladly recommend it to others. We will definitely return to Hotel La Neige for our next snow season.

Our stay at Hotel La Neige was perfect ! The staff are wonderful and most helpful. The shuttles operated by the team to and from the ski fields as well as to other HHG owned establishments especially assisted my partner and I with our stay as we were first time snowboarders. Furthermore, my partner and I forgot to book restaurants in advance so the team at the hotel helped us to organise dinner bookings for the rest of our stay. The team would also load and unload our ski gear each day and ensure our gear was ready to go the next morning. We cannot recommend Hotel La Neige more.

Hotel La Neige was the perfect place for us to stay in Hakuba Happo One ski resort. The staff are exceptional, the shuttle service to/from the ski lifts and to restaurants was amazing! Their breakfasts are the best I have ever had. We were even lucky enough to have the whole restaurant to ourselves the night we dined in. Oh, and the beds are so comfortable and the spa bath is the best after a day of skiing. We will be back. Thankyou to the staff at La Neige 🙏🏼🇯🇵

The staff were very good, assisting with gear and arranging drop off and pickups. We were pampered. The common area was like a stately home. The rooms were beautiful. Very comfortable bedding and the corner room gave us a lot of space and great valley views. The food in the morning was very good and in the evening like a five star restaurant. Very good toiletries.

Walking outside to the building with our room was a little slippery though we had received an amazing amount of snow.

Covered in snow it looked like a picture-book Swiss Chalet. The reception hall was very welcoming with high ceilings, a roaring fire and comfortable sofas and chairs. The breakfast/restaurant was similarly attractive. The staff were exceptionally helpful, taking us to and fro the ski hire, storing, drying and retrieving our ski gear and ferrying us to the nearby slopes/buses.

The breakfast buffet was relatively limited in scope. In our room the bath/spa room was a little cold, probably because of the large windows.
