Location is great, close to harbor, off center, very close to nature. This was my best morning run in Japan, through proper forest, with good elevation. Breakfast was the best we had in Japan. Breakfast is at the top-level from the hotel, with a beautiful view. Despite the location being off-center (see next point) it is one of the best experiences we had in Japan.

The plus side of this hotel is also the down side. It's located on a peninsula, difficult to get to, and leave from. The public bus has a limited frequency, starts early, finishes early in the day. The hotel bus has an odd timetable which never worked out for us. Prepare for long walk to hotel, or Taxi.

It is a big hotel with excellent facilities. Rooms are spacious and view towards the sea is beautiful. The free bus to the train station is great but the first one leaves a bit late (9h50) and the last one leaves the train station a bit early - 19h20.

Location - the hotel is too far from the main points of interest in Hiroshima. The main reason we chose this hotel was the private peer from which you could reach the island of Miyajima. However, I could not find information about the time-table before we arrived at the hotel. The last boat left the island around 17h, which was too early as we wanted to spend time there during low tide as well. This was disappointing as we needed more than 1h to come back to the hotel afterwards via other means.

A top luxury hotel with striking views from our room. Couldn't really fault anything except maybe the restaurant prices. But there is a more humble one outside and a convenience store like a limited 7/11 inside. There is a more scenic ferry direct to the island (4400 yen return) or a slower free express bus to the short public ferry port (500 yen return). There is also a free express bus to the Hiroshima Station.

The only very minor quibble is that the free express bus to and from Hiroshima station only leaves infrequently. It works well but if you miss it you have quite a wait for the next one. While you can use a street car and bus combo it is not very convenient. Taxis to the centre cost 3300 yen one way.

-The free 30min shuttle bus from Hiroshima station was brilliant, the bus arrived at stand 8 and boarding was simple enough, the driver put our luggage underneath which was handy. -The staff are conscientious and welcoming, we had a very smooth check in and were informed about booking the boat trip to Miyajima which we took advantage of. -The location is fantastic, we stayed for just 2 days but managed to fit in a sunset walk around the bay and came across 2 small sandy beaches, so scenic! The second day we spent at Miyajima, which has to be one of the most magical days I've ever had. -We enjoyed breakfast which was a buffet style with a mix of western and asian cuisine. This was located on the top floor restaurant which had 360 views, absolutely stunning. -The room we stayed in had everything you could want/ need, as well as some extra luxuries like skin care and fancy toiletries. The view from our room was also breathtaking, we had a floor to ceiling window that looked onto the sea which you could get lost in. -On site convenience store was also great.

The only thing that could have been improved upon would be providing further information about all the different restaurants and all other facilities. We didn't utilise half of the facilities but it would have been great if we had had some details about the spa and the treatments on offer. Further detail about the onsen and what to expect/ etiquette (for those that may be a little nervous to use) would also be helpful to have some info about the pool opening times. But other than that, it's faultless.

The hotel is built for convenience. All the facilities (onsen, Spa/massage etc, relaxation room) restaurants (5), breakfast options in multiple restaurants included with stay (traditional Japanese and western) convenience store, bus stop out the front, free shuttle to/from train station, and the concierge and staff were extremely helpful. Beautiful view from the ocean view rooms. Value for money was definitely worth it.

The location is slightly too far to walk to the main part of the city and there aren't many restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. It was about a 15min walk to a restaurant (The Lagoon) and 20mins to Lawson's (convenience store). Which I didn't really mind.

The view from the room was amazing. The shuttle bus was a bonus. Kettle and cups were provided. Bed linens were changed each day. We had a family corner twin bed room with sea views and was very spacious. View from restaurant was fantastic.

The bedrooms were very dated but clean. Hotel room & corridors don't look like they have been updated in a very long time. Pillows were rock hard which made it a very uncomfortable stay. The shuttle bus was definitely needed as the property is so remote. Breakfast was a disappointment. Mainly catered for the Japanese market. There were several coach loads there during our stay. The staff could not keep up with the demand to replace the food or clear the tables. Swimming pool as green and did not look like it had been cleaned in a very long time

Stunning hotel in a stunning location, this was my second visit as I wanted to bring my wife here to enjoy it. Worth staying for the incredible sea views alone, extremely convenient if you plan to visit Miyajima and use their ferry service from outside the hotel. Rooms are very big and the free bus service to and from the station is extremely helpful.

The hotel doesn’t have any double beds, they need to offer rooms with double beds. There’s no laundry room, instead there is a laundry service but you have to wait for at least one day which is too slow.

Great sea view from the room. Very nice lobby and restaurant area. Location was great for our trip to Miyajima. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel is quite dated in places, especially the floor we stayed on, but everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is quite a distance away from the centre of Hiroshima, but there is a courtesy shuttle bus. This does, however stop running quite early. The hotel would benefit from more shuttle buses later into the evening

The location is close to the ocean and the hotel offers a free ferry (which we, disappointedly weren't able to use with our schedule) and a charter bus directly to the hotel from the station. The price for the hotel was a great value, I was impressed with the view, price, location, and facilities. A small bonus was the skin care sampler they provided - it was nice and refreshing after a long day of travel. The okinomiyaki restaurant connected to the hotel was nice, but I've had better okinomiyaki before. Still, it was very convenient and it sounds like they have many food options if you arrive earlier in the day or make reservations.

The hotel room was warm when we got in and the a/c controls did not appear to work. We did not mention it to the staff since it was late and there was a huge group of school children on a trip getting checked in when we got back down to the lobby.

View from the room. Room price was very good value. Free shuttle bus from Hiroshima train station. The bar menu 22floor as well as the ground floor cafe (closes at 6pm) provided good cheaper food options for dinner.

The hotel is a long way out of town but is served well by public bus and free shuttle bus(only to the train). But the timetable given to us at the hotel did not match the public bus timetable which seems to have changed for buses travelling from town to the hotel on the 21 route where only every second bus stopped at the hotel. The others stopped at the port which is 25 minute walk away. Make sure the bus says Prince Hotel.
