Great location in a quiet area but also close enough that you were within walking distance of all the sights.

Hostel was very quiet. Like it felt myself and my partner were the only ones there, only saw 1 other guest our entire stay there. Not necessarily a bad thing but it was the quietest hostel I've ever been too. There were 2 showers and 3 toilets on our floor but 1 shower and 2 toilets were closed for maintenance, again wasn't a big deal but if there were a lot of guests it would be a problem. Overall I really enjoyed this Hostel. 100% recommend. Staff were extremely helpful

Bed space was comfortable and large enough for two people. Rooms were warm and common areas were large. Great kitchen with everything you could need. Lockers in room to lock up valuables. Location is great, about a 10 minute walk to popular food street and sights. Bus from the station was easy. Highlight of our stay was the staff! The two ladies at the front desk helped us with restaurant suggestions and happily made a few calls to make dinner reservations for us! Thank you very much!

200 yen for a bath towel is a bit odd, we haven't had to pay for a towel anywhere else in Japan yet

we love the capsule style beds. It was our first experience in a shared-style hostel. At first I was a bit anxious about having common baths and toilets, but the set-up was still very convenient. The common room is spacious, the kitchen and laundry had everything we needed for our stay. The location is also convenient.

Just very minor things. One is the laundry area.aybe consider making it more closed so it's more comfortable during winter or rainy days. Maybe changing the dish towels more often too.

Really nice common space with tables and sofas. I took the double bed dorm which was big and very comfortable for a 3 night stay. The room itself is big enough to have our bags by our beds without it getting too cramped. The hostel is quite far from the station, but it is located a few minutes walk from a very nice shopping & dining street (lots of vintage shops!) and the central areas are not too far either.

the staff was very friendly and helpful, I usually don’t take advices or even approach the staff for anything of the sort but the nice lady had great recommendations for me which she told me unpromptly which was more than welcome! The place is cleans, comfortable and has a nice lounge you can chill in. The location is very nice considering it is only a 30 min walk from the market and the gardens while also being right next to a gorgeous river

Unlike most hostels in Japan, this one had a large common room and sufficient kitchen space. The beds were extremely comfortable and the location was unbeatable - quiet but very close to everywhere you would want to go. The bus to and from the train station (on which luggage is allowed) is literally around the corner from the hostel. One of the best hostels in Japan.

Nothing - it was almost too quiet

We enjoyed our day at K’s house. We are a couple travelling with three kids aged 8, 10, 12. We stayed in a room with capsule beds and the kids thought it was great! It was spacious and comfortable enough, very clean, and a good central location. We appreciated the safe and relaxed environment - our kids could move around and explore / head to bathrooms and between the kitchen and our room independently.

That was interesting to discover the design and architecture of that (nearly new, I guess) hostel. The room was very clean and comfortable, as were the facilities. As were the shared spaces. The neighborhood is quiet and the staff is friendly. There is a nice bakery in the street, as well as a lovely place to have a good breakfast. The easiest way to get to the hostel (unless you want to walk), is by bus. From Kanazawa station, take West exit and turn left. You'll face the bus dep area. Take bus 18 until Saiwai cho bus stop. 200 yens.

The hostel is a bit far from the center but still walking distance. I didn't like the bunk bed. The mattress was comfortable but the frame is closed on 3 sides and with the scale on the fourth, I felt a bit cramped.

Super friendly and helpful staff who had great recommendations for places to visit and delicious restaurants nearby! The rooms were incredibly clean, the bed very comfy and spacious and the bathroom was immaculate. Also, as a woman travelling alone, it felt very safe. I found the location to be great, really nearby a lot of the stuff I wanted to see and otherwise great transport links. I cannot recommend it enough!

Hosts very helpful and very friendly!!! It was a pleasure to talk with them! They speak well english. Location is also great : you’re in a sympathic street, a konbini is near by and also a loop bus stop, which is useful. It’s also nice to have a true kitchen and a laundry with dryer. Very clean as usual in Japan!

Our room with bunk beds was quite small with only a small window.
