It was actually my second time in this accommodation and all I can say is that it is a great value for money! It is near to Oji Station which serves both JR and Tokyo Metro Lines. The place is also clean and the surroundings is relatively quiet since it is quite tucked away from the crowded cities.

Since this is my second stay already, I can say that there's nothing negative that I can comment on about the property. Probably it is more of the other guests who are not considerate of the fact that there are other guests in the room since it's a hostel (which should not be blamed to the property).

The dorms at the guesthouse are really comfortable and clean. The bathrooms and the showers room as well. There are coin lockers as well for the guests! The whole vibe of the guesthouse is quite hip and they often hold music performances in their lounge area as well which are really good! However, above everything, the location was the biggest plus point for me. Really close to the station and the convenience stores. You just have to take a 5 minute walk to the station. There is also a really beautiful park adjacent to it. And on a side note, I have a little story about how nice and generous the staff at the guesthouse is! I booked a mixed dorm for 4 nights here but on my last night I had a small accident due to which I had to cancel all my future plans to other cities since the doctor advised bedrest. The super kind and welcoming team at the Tokyo Guest House not only upgraded me to a private room due to my condition but they also let me stay for four more nights! And the private rooms were also really good with all the facilities and amenities provided! I would highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone!

More than proper Capsule hotel likes Good position , not too far from train station good foods , good sentou (public bath) nearby 3 or 4 ish nearby Konbini in walking distance

private shoes locker should be "free" I prefer getting 1 personal shoe box at check in , and having a deposit for it in case I forget to turn the key back or lost it rather than having someone else too lazy to put their shoes inside a sealed bag or to scared to put their shoes on the public shelf.

The location of the property is excellent, it s close to õji station, from where you can easily go anywhere, the paper museum next to the guest house is interesting, there are a couple of very nice and relaxing parks nearby. The room was comfy, so was the bathroom. Definitely recommend 👌

I wish there was a small coffee table, even a tiny one in the room, to write or snack. The wifi connection on the 4th floor was inexistent. I d recommend buying an E-sim instead. It s more reliable.

The room was small, clean, comfy and functional. The location is great (although a steep walk from the station) with many amenities in the hood. Being close to the station is handy. So for location I rate this place as excellent value for money. The Asukayama park just over the road was delightful and highly recommended if you have a little one. The common use kitchenette area was very handy. I would liked to have seen the live performances downstairs but they were sold out so we listened from our room.

The lift was tiny and the doors closed on me each time as they close quickly! But at least there was a lift as some places just have stairs.

Hostel was well priced. The bed was comfy, toilet was clean (I didn't use shower, so can't comment). Staff member at check in was friendly. Facility and amenities are basic but it does the job. If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep, it will satisfy you. Keep in mind that there are no storage areas or lockers, just a shelf in your dorm for your suitcase. FYI: cross the road to the right side footpath when you exit the station, before walking up the winding road. If you stay on the left side, you can only cross from an overhead footbridge (not ideal with luggage).

The kitchen was dirty and messy. I was surprised when I saw a small roach-like bug in the fridge drawer, crawling past my food. Completely unacceptable, staff need to clean the kitchen, otherwise get a cleaner. The small communal area in front of reception could have also been cleaner. Also the bed spread had a stain, which was unappealing even if it had been washed.

Value for money. Near train station. Can leave luggages after check out.

Check in is only till 10pm. Luggages of other travellers are along the hallway. Shower area only at 1st floor.

The room size although not big, is within my expectation with the price paid for, and it was very clean. The location is very near to Oji Station (4 Min walk) which you can access the Keihin-Tōhoku Line and the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, A lot of eateries and convenient stores at the neighborhood. No problem of storing our luggage before check-in and after check-out times.

It’s energetic and inclusive to guests from any age and country. The staff helped us check in with detailed information. The private bathroom is extremely spadeful. The highlight feature is that there is a private suana room inside! The location is not at the main area of Tokyo, but it is close to a JR station with transit lines. There is a steep slope from the station to the property. Therefore, if you are dragging heavy suitcases, please be prepared :)

Biggest problem: noisy during night. Ambulances made sounds every night during our 3-night stay. The The curtain didn’t black out at all!!!! While the sun rises 4:30 am in summer!!!! This really disturbed us :( while the sleeping area is narrow —- only accommodates one tatami and no extra room. We can’t even completely open up our suitcase.

I stay in a female dormitory of four, I like the mattress as it's cozy and soft. The bathroom and toilet is clean everyday! You don't need to worry about hairs on the floor and water stain on the sink, the cleaners are very good and friendly. I love to ask a lot of questions, the counter / Receptionist speaks well english and is helpful to answer all your questions, anything about Japan. The cafeteria opens 24 hours, you can sit there and plan on your next trip.

I'm working nomad and travel, thus I'll need to use the cafeteria everyday. Sometimes the cafeteria is closed due to events, hope there's earlier announcement so traveler with the same situation like me could plan earlier.
