It provided free breakfast and dinner. They were quite good. The (room) rental was relatively low. It was quite value for money.

The curtain in the bathroom was not clean enough. It would be much value for money if the cleanliness could be improved.

Location is just right by entrance to old quarter. Price includes good dinner and next day ok buffet breakfast. It's a hotel so things in room is really a hotel, not a backpacker thing. Such a treat. Staffs are all nice, in reception and restaurant too.

No wifi in room

It's located very close to Narita Station, it's worth to stay there for few nights especially when You want to be close to Narita Airport

The bath was closed. It would have been nice if they said that on the website as we were looking forward to it.

Free dinner and breakfast. Big public bath.

Great value with half board. The hotel is a budget hotel aimed at Japanese workers so don't expect any English language or signage. Use Google translate. The restaurant was mainly staffed by Japanese grannies which is charming. At the time of writing there is a rice shortage so being good traditional grannies they watch the portion sizes and don't like wastage. If you are ok with traditional values and don't arrive with fancy tourist expectations you will be fine. This is Japan so you can expect politeness and helpfulness, but don't be a tourist.

I stayed there for 1 night, the location of the hotel is not far from the train station and Kurashiki Bikan, allowing me to spend plenty of time taking cityscape photos, the price of the room included dinner and breakfast. the hotel was a little bit old but still functional and the room was clean.

I understand that there is a shortage of labor problem in Japan, hence we the guest have to take shower kits from the lobby themself, but there isn't a shower cap in the shower kits.

Location and price were excellent when booked well in advance. The breakfast/dinner included in the price was a great bonus and left me satisfied.

The WiFi was not accessible from my room at the end of the hall. The smoking room stunk to high heaven and the stench remained in my clothes long afterwards (maybe I didn't specify non-smoking during booking?) --- I've learnt my lesson.

Nice staff. Easy check-in. Good view of the city from the hotel (10F). Did not use the onsen or restaurant.

The beds, wow, so hard. Carpet was very worn out and uncomfortable without shoes. Breakfast last order was 8:30 which was a little early.
