Location: The hotel was easy access to kurashiki station, outlet mall, coin laundry, and close to the kurashiki bikan historical quarter. Room: The room was spacious and clean. Living area separate from the beds was a plus. Communication: They kept us fully informed of any updates even though we did not speak Japanese they used their phones and were accommodating. Id you're looking for additional amenities other than lodging you won't find it here. However if you're looking for lodging for sleeping this was perfect.

The accomodations was perfect for us. If there were suggestions, I would recommend coin laundry and vending machine for beverages.

Location : Short walk from train station a plus if you're lugging heavy bags. The shopping street and Bikan Historical Quarter are only a short 15 min stroll away. Check in/out : Effortless, assisted by charming, well trained and pleasant staff. Thoughtfulness : Nice touches everywhere. In room bagels provided and toaster with which to warm them. Sachets of soup-in-a- cup. Water and coffee machine in lobby available throughout the day. Complimentary tasting of local sake (with tasting notes no less). Even tiny bedroom slippers for the little ones !

New , spacious, comfortable

No Eng speaking staff Wrong direction for parking and thus had to pay public fare for 2 days parking(1500x2) instead of the hotel discounted fare (1000x2) Hotel was located in a good place in the city centre , just 3 min walk to metro, but it was a short building in between several taller buildings, so when you drove there with GPS, could hardly find it unless you got out from the car and walked through a short small path to find it

The staff was friendly, snack prepared in the room was good too. Self services station for coffee / tea / water were good.

One feedback, the hotel is hidden in between 2 building, and to make things worst, the hotel sign board was block by the trees Infront of the hotel, so it make it difficult for us to located the hotel, we need to go round and round a few time to realised is was hidden behind the tree which is not tall but good enough to cover the hotel sign board. Other than that, it was good.

The hotel definitely lives up to its tagline "Absolute Comfort". I love everything about the stylish Japanese-Style room - spacious, super comfy beds, raised tatami floor, huge dining/work table, natural light from two windows, separate shower and bath. There is also an Amazon Echo in the room. The layout and design is modern and thoughtful such as having a light sensor at the entrance area which is also near the toilet (very handy at night). The daily bagels are delicious (especially after a quick toast in the room) and the coffee is top-notch. What made my stay more enjoyable was the energy and the hospitality of the team of young front-desk staff. From the time I made the booking and even after I checked out - they responded promptly and also took the initiative to follow up. I initially booked 4 nights to stay at Kurashiki and was next going to stay another 3 nights in Okayama. But the stay at Nagi was so outstanding that I decided to extend my stay and instead make the quick commute to Okayama. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the JR station but is strategically sited so it is quiet. Behind the station is Andersen Square and there are many dining options in the Ario Shopping Mall. The Bikan Quarter is a short walk away and there are even more dining options around that area. I will certainly stay at Nagi Hotel if I visit this lovely city again.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It was in a great location, close to the station, downtown & the historic area. It was totally sound proof, spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated. The amenities were of high quality & the snacks provided were generous & varied with a focus on local produce. Lastly, the staff were delightful & were truly committed to providing an excellent service. It was a truly memorable stay in Kurashiki.

The room and location is superb! It's truly "absolute comfort" when staying at Nagi Kurashiki. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. It's near the station, walkable to the Bikan Historical Quarters and premium outlets. The staff are friendly and helpful as well.

It would be nice if there was a washing machine.

The staff were so lovely and really did make us feel welcome. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our bags so we were free to explore- when we returned that evening our bags were waiting in the room. They helped my daughter use the toaster oven in the lobby with such genuine kindness. The denim styling and navy touches throughout the good sized room were tasteful, furniture was comfortable and the plates, cutlery and tea coffee facilities very stylish. Loved the coffee! The seperate toilet, washing basins and shower room were convenient for a family. The tub is large for Japan and very nice to relax in after a busy day.

The hotel was about twice the price of the main chains but the room was spacious and stylish, so to be picky my complaint is the quality of the duvets. We struggled to sleep we were so hot. When everything else was so good not getting the sleep you need because of this detail is disappointing.

super friendly staff were kind and attentive and spoke some English. They helped with reservations for some restaurants, and gave us a very comprehensive bike guide they had prepared in house, that outlined a lovely countryside bike route that we had read about. The rooms are super comfy and the bathrooms great. The location is just 3 minutes from the train station, and very quite (we did not hear any trains). We really really enjoyed this hotel, highly recommend.

Ami and her team were most helpful in assisting on recommending & making dinner reservations at fabulous restaurants. The family suite was roomy and very comfortable & cosy. Hotel conveniently located within 3 minutes walk from Kurashiki station and within walking distance to many places of interest including the river boat rides. Snacks like bagels in the room were delicious.
