Spacious and clean for a family of 2 adult and 1 child.

Water dispenser system is hard to operate, not sensitive sometime. Breakfast choice could be better. We stayed 3 nights and breakfast was the same.

Very clean and new hotel with everything you need: I was need to go on zoom suddenly - they have many meeting rooms, that helped me much. Good gym for my son. Room cleaning everyday with changing bed sheets. Good sound insulation- you don’t hear neighbors. As for breakfast - I’m completely sure - this is a best breakfast in Kyoto - everything you need in Swiss table style: gentle omelets, bacon, fruits, salads, cheeses hard and Brie, duck slices, soups, yogurts, snacks, different bakery including croissants, all kind of drinks Good bar at the reception Location: great location, close to Kyoto station, just 3 min from subway Gojo station. Many rests and cafes around, McDonalds 3 mins (if needed at late time), many groceries and supermarkets, pharmacy - everything very near, Nishiki market 20 min walk distance. And very kind and friendly staff Really good hotel with great service

Nothing really

This hotel was just Wow! I can’t rate it highly enough. Definitely the best hotel we stayed at in our whole 3 weeks in Japan. Perfect location just a 5 minute walk to the train station, 7/11 and Lawsons. The rooms have every mod con imaginable and huge flat screen tv. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I’d ever slept on. Ever. 😂 The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and all spoke perfect English. Especially gorgeous little Natsumi who went above and beyond to help with so many things during our stay. The buffet breakfast was amazing. Nothing you could want that wasn’t there. Laundry facilities, ice machine, free cold water dispenser to top up your bottles for the day. Even a 24 hour wine vending machine in reception. 🤗 We will definitely stay our next trip back to Japan that’s for sure.

Nothing at all to dislike.

The hotel room was pretty big compared to many others in the area. We thought it was great! The beds were super comfy, and the room had things like pajamas and a coffee machine, which was a nice touch. The location wasn’t very lively, but it was still lovely. There were convenience stores like 7-Eleven nearby. It’s about a 7–8 minute walk to the metro, and getting to the city center is really easy. The breakfast wasn’t really my style though — there were mostly Asian options. But overall, we really liked the hotel. It was very clean, and if we come back, we’ll definitely stay here again!

The staff were amazingly kind and helpful! I highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Kyoto. We will be back!

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was very polite and helpful. The bed was big and comfortable with both soft and firm pillows for any preference. There was self-service laundry available, but it could also be arranged through the reception. The highlight for me and the reason I chose the hotel was the 24/7 gym, a big plus compared to other hotels. It had an assortment of cardio machines, kettlebells, bands, medicine balls, mats, dumbbells and a bench, good enough to train while traveling without leaving the comfort of the hotel. Towels were also readily available in the gym.

The wifi quality dropped so much during peak times (like in the evenings when most guests return to the hotel) that it was mostly unusable, barely enough to browse, but impossible for videos or anything more network intensive.

Modern hotel in a very convenient spot of Kyoto, a few minutes walk from the Gojo subway station and lots of City Buses for tourist spots. Clean and spacious room, especially by Japanese standards, with a reasonable amount of in-room amenities. The breakfast is fantastic - there is a variety of options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. There is always a station for traditional Japanese breakfast with miso soup, rice, and fish and a station for western/European breakfast with breads and pastries. Staff were friendly, helpful, multi-lingual, and were happy to help us with luggage delivery services.

We booked 4 rooms for our family of 7 adults. We requested they be close together and our request was accommodated. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. We did not pre-book breakfast so purchased it the day before for a slightly discounted price. The breakfast area was clean and the coffee was good. The location was good. One stop up from the main train station and about a 5 minute walk from the metro stop. Close enough to walk to a few things. The public bath was an added bonus. My husband used it daily and I went once. It is segregated by sex and it is a typical public bath so no bathing suit. After a long day of walking it was soothing to sit in the hot water for a bit.

Breakfast was just ok. The coffee was excellent but the food was lacking for my taste. Several pastries, runny eggs, undercooked bacon and foods that are typical for Japan. They looked good but just not for me at breakfast. Our vegan daughter was disappointed as there was only cereal for her.

1. Great location - metro station nearby, super easy to get to/from. Also, the hotel is in a place where you can quickly walk to the main shopping center, supermarkets nearby, and attractions nearby that don't take long to get to. 2. Rooms - great rooms, spacious (especially for Japan), everything is new, fresh, excellent cleanliness, excellent service, delicious coffee and coffee machine, everything is super, nothing to add. 3. Good breakfast, surprisingly, I liked the breakfast, the restaurant looked great, everything was quite tasty. Sometimes, there were cold hot dishes.

Poor internet. The internet was the only thing that bothered us, namely its quality. It was very weak, unstable, and that is something that the hotel needs to work on. Also, I would like the hotel staff (namely the reception) to speak English better, because any question slightly beyond "breakfast, water, check in, check out" causes difficulties in communication

This hotel stay totally exceeded my expectations! The location was super convenient — just a few minutes' walk to the nearest subway station, which made getting around the city really easy. There were also convenience stores and cafes nearby, so I never had to worry about food or snacks. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of space to relax. The bed was soft and comfy — I slept like a baby! The staff were also really friendly and helpful. During check-in, they even took the time to recommend some great local food spots. Overall, I was really happy with this stay. I’ll definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit the city!
