Loved it. Diffucult to find at first. Google maps is terrible to use in. Finding this location,but hotel was excellent

Location was perfect, problem was difficult to find key areas in kyoto. Just walk straight then you find the nishiki market. Google maps was not helpful, we had to get lost first to find the places

Our stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations — it’s honestly an amazing value for the price! It’s hard to find a better balance of cost and quality in this price range. The location is convenient, the facilities are well-maintained, and the overall comfort rivals that of more expensive hotels. Contrary to some reviews, it was not noisy at all. During our entire stay, we barely heard any sounds from other rooms or the hallway. It was quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated after long days of exploring. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, especially for Japanese hotel standards — there was plenty of room for luggage and to move around comfortably. Another big plus: the laundry facilities are almost always available. We never had to wait or struggle to get a machine, and we also never had to wait long for the elevator, which made everything more convenient. There’s even a smoking room on-site, which was a nice touch for those who need it. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. All in all, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again!

Had a great 3 night stay over at this hotel. The room was a relatively small one but had all of the basic amenities provided. Our room that we chose had a queen sized bed, television, hair dryer, mini fridge as well as a wall facing table with a single chair. The space in the room was a bit tight if you're travelling with luggage of a slightly bigger size and if you plan on keeping your luggage open the whole time there, like we did. However, we still managed to stay and rest comfortably despite the space constraints of the room. Otherwise, the space is definitely able to accommodate 2 medium sized luggage or if you slide or place your luggage under the bed. The bed was comfortable and had 4 pillows provided, 2 soft and 2 firmer pillows. Our room also had a private bathroom of a decent size, with a shower and bath tub. The toilet was very clean in general, toiletries and necessities for showering such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath towels, face towels and room slippers were also provided. The toilet itself had a heated toilet seat and bidet which was a nice touch of the room. Location of the place was great. Within the vicinity of the place, there was a mini-stop convenience store within a 2 minute walking radius. Gojo train station and certain bus stops were less than a 5 minute walk away, making many different attractions assessible via train. There was an additional fee of 1200 yen imposed though, not too sure how they calculated it but we stayed there for 3 nights, 2pax. So it might possibly be 200 yen, per night, per person. Room was really nice, we were overall very satisfied. A comfortable room at an affordable price! Definitely recommended!

Space within the room was a bit tight which was understandable and manageable. Additional few was imposed when we checked into the hotel. Check in took a couple steps, was a bit long in my opinion and not as seamless as I expected.

Modern room, spacious for japan, was very clean.

Could do with a luggage storage room rather than the reception and the check-in time was 4pm which is wild

This hotel is tucked away in a semi-residential area surrounded by small shops, offering an authentic feel of local living. The hotel is fairly new and everything is super clean and organized. It features convenient amenities such as on-site laundry facilities, a microwave, and filtered hot and cold water. Despite its quiet location, it’s conveniently situated just one block from the main street, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, drugstores, and more. The subway station and bus stops are only a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to get around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Due to a medical emergency, I extended my time in Kyoto and ended up staying for two weeks. I couldn’t be more grateful for the helpful staff and the homey atmosphere, which made a challenging situation much more manageable.

I wish the hotel had an ice machine, although there is a Lawson convenience store right across the street where I could easily get ice. Additionally, there is no onsen available on-site, which could have been a nice feature.

The room and bathroom were spotless, and the staff had excellent manners. Check-in was easy. The bedroom door features a padlock with a code to unlock it, and it self-locks a few seconds after closing. A laundry can be used by paying a small fee, and it is so convenient. I appreciated the location, which was in a quiet area, yet conveniently close to the tube station, making it easy to explore Kyoto.

We couldn't pull the curtain open to let in natural light or ventilation, which may be due to the room being on the ground floor. You can hear the water running in the pipes from other bathrooms, so bringing some earplugs might be a good idea if you’re a light sleeper. Additionally, the toilet flush and the sound of water from the tap in the bathroom are quite loud, so you might wake up your partner if you use the restroom in the middle of the night :)

Affordable, perfectly equipped, clean and spacious room, pantry with cold water and microwave, they even provide iron FOC upon request, able to drop luggage pre check in, friendly staff. everything is mostly self service; check in & check out, coin laundry with washer and dryer, etc GOOD LOCATION!! we were walking around as 3 female traveller and feeling very safe around the neighbourhood (even at night). located near to yamato service so we also use luggage transfer to move our bag to Osaka. Would definitely come back :)

when you arrive you need to pay for tax. you need to remember your passcode for door & laundry. also MAKE SURE TO LOCK YOUR DOOR when leaving the room as it doesnt lock automatically! we realized that we didnt lock it for the whole day, thank god nothing happen

Clean room, comfortable stay, helpful staff, the room has everything for a comfortable stay: kettle, refrigerator, hair dryer. Towels could be changed independently every day. Close to bus stops and metro stations, also around there are many options where you can eat or buy necessary little things.

There was some noise from the hallway as other guests entered their rooms, but no noise from other rooms, so overall the temporary noise was tolerable.

Our hotel was conveniently located within a 8 min walking distance to a train station, with a convience store right next to it. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean when arriving. Had amenities expected of a Japanese hotel.

Very weird check in system compared to most other hotels in the west, heck, even in Japan. You have to check in yourself through a touch screen computer. There is staff to help you if you have trouble checking in. There is no hotel card or key, you have to remember a code to unlock your door. Please make sure to LOCK your doors when leaving your room, as it does not lock automatically. You do this by pressing your hand against the surface of the keypad, which it then locks. This confused us terribly at first, so please be careful and remember to do this.

The hotel was in a really calm street, 10 minutes drive from the station, and the premises were in perfect condition. Me and my group arrived early in the city, so we had to leave our luggage in the hotel's reception. It al went really smooth. We also used a takkyubin service, everything was perfect. The check-in process is self- made, but it was somehow easy. Also, the room size was good, the beds were comfortable, we had TV, mini-fridge and some equipment to make tea. The bathroom was also fully equipped. Would definitely come back :)

It was unexpected that during the day, even though the reception was empty, there was, in fact, personnel watching through the cameras and close by in case you needed something. I had never experienced it, but it felt somehow normal to me.
