Hotel and doggy was amazing. We did not bring a dog this time, but I have never seen a place better prepared to host dogs and their owners. The staff was available 24/7 and helped store our luggage on check out date so we could continue to explore the city. They provided very comfortable pyjamas, which was unexpected but welcomed. All the facilities were top-notch, clean, and quite luxurious. We went during peak tourist season in Kyoto and therefore the price was on the higher side. However, after seeing the facilities first hand, I felt like it was definitely worth the price.

Staff were very nice and kind. Appreciated that they tried to communicate their best with us, even though we didn't know Japanese. The property is nicely designed and well-maintained. Everything was very clean. Room was very spacious. Appreciated the humidifier in the room as the weather was a bit dry when we went. The air conditioner can automatically go from heating to cooling. Appreciated the chill-out area with free coffee / drinks at the ground floor. The area is near Nijo Castle. There are a number of train stations within walking distance. There is also a street full of cafes, bakeries, and other food stalls nearby--one of which is a Creme Brulee Donut place.

Some of the amenities were available at the front desk only like the iron. Someone borrowed the iron when we were thinking to use it. But the staff was very nice and kind to explain it well to us, so in the end, it's okay even if we weren't able to use it.

Luxurious, clean, massive room, and quiet, modern, area downstairs to work. Free coffee, and free hotdogs at night. Staff were lovely. The area is the best in Kyoto (in my opinion) with lots of little bars and cafes nearby.

The only thing I didn’t like was the bedroom window, which, we weren’t informed prior to our arrival, is completely frosted over so you can’t see anything. It was an initial shock, but the room was so lovely, that I got used to it and it didn’t bother me in the end.

Hotel was very clean, modern and tidy. Rooms were a great size as was the bathroom with a lovely rainfall shower. Everything was high quality and staff were attentive. Good location too Didn't have a dog with us and were made to feel very welcome still. Couldn't hear any dogs through walls during stay and didn't see any mess anywhere.

Breakfast options were a bit limited and pillows weren't the best but didn't distract from the stay.

cozy modern rooms. there are all the amenities for owners and pets. free hot dogs in the evening, a bar with hot drinks is open throughout the day. clean everywhere, you can take a stroller to walk with your pet.

in the mornings there is breakfast, which is included in the price of the stay. but it turned out that it needs to be booked in advance, which is not written in the rules of residence with all the information about the hotel. so it was a shame when we went down to the dining area waiting for breakfast, which we were denied, without warning in advance that it needed to be booked.

Best hotel ever!! Beds and pillows were comfortable, no noise, shower was exceptional (one of the best in my life), the free 24 hour coffee was incredible and they even had free hot dogs every night for two hours!!! Location was good too, not to far not to close to main attractions. Close to Nishiki market and Gion by uber. I forgot to mention, the room was huge!!! Similar to a USA hotel room in terms of space.

I travel extensively but rarely review hotels. Most tend to just blend into one another. Anddoggy is the exception! Great character (even if you are travelling without pets like me). Exceptionally helpful staff. Special call out to Isogawa-san who flagged that I had left valuables behind and had it shipped to my next hotel. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Rooms were super clean and spacious too!

What a pleasant surprise we got when we reached this hotel....we did not know it was a pet hotel! As both of us love dogs we had a wonderful time. Free hot dogs between 8 and 10 p.m. each night. A fabulous big room with our own sitting room. Just 15 minute walk to subway station, and good value for money.

The room was huge! It has enough room for us to keep the luggage open at all times. The location is amazing, walking distance to do many attractions. It's audio close to a couple of subway stations, so you can travel easily.

Can't think of anything unpleasant. The place was perfect!

Amazing place. It’s a hotel design to bring your pet , but we went wouldn’t one. It’s was one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. Loved it

The only thing, was not being able to open a window ( not even a bit ) besides that everything was great
