The staff were fantastic. Friendly, approachable and readily available. The facilities on offer were good. There is a coin laundry on the ground floor, next to the public baths and vending machines. The location of the hotel was convenient - multiple konbini, a shopping street, bus stop and even some attractions are nearby and in walking distance.

The bed was okay but not particularly comfortable. When placing the “do not disturb” cleaning sign, I couldn’t find anywhere to throw out my room trash bags, so eventually these accumulated and took up space in the somewhat small room. After I used the “clean me please” side the cleaners did the room but did not take those trash bags. Not a big deal, I expect they just thought they may have been personal shopping bags or something.

Nice hotel, nice staff. Room size was good and the location was not bad, 15 minutes walk to Ginza and good places to eat and drink. nice neighborhood

The windows don't open at all and all of the windows are opaque so no view to the outside at all even on the high floors. It made me very anxious. One small elevator. Once there was a big group of people so I had to wait 30 minutes to get to my room since there are not stairs one can use.

The place was neat, clean, no frills. It was as expected, as advertised and check in was a breeze (considering we arrived at the hotel past 11PM). It was near a konbini (always a must in Japan). The staff were nice, we can eat in the pantry/kitchen and they were kind enough to provide bin liners for our rubbish, offered to clean up for us, etc.

the a/c on the first night wasn't working. Took 3x for us to go to the lobby and explain that we knew how to work an a/c and it definitely wasn't working. We were made to transfer to a double room (we were booked for a twin) on the first night. Quite disappointing, but better than no a/c.

Close to everything we wanted to visit, in the heart of Kyoto. Didn't even realise it had a communal bath - onsen on the ground floor. Rooms are ok for Japan, comfortable beds and laundry room, which we found useful.

One lift for all the hotel guests. It took us half an hour to get to reception when everyone was trying to leave at 10 am. We couldn't use the stairs. Shame.

very clean, fresh towels every day. public bath was surprisingly good! clean. staff were okay but you're not paying for concierge so don't expect recommendations. their English is adequate if you need it. they brought me a harder pillow! thanks. FREE DINNER of curry every night!

The staff and how clean it was.

The morning breakfast didn't have a lot of good options. It must be because it was cheap at 500 yen but it would be better having some more options like fruits, and other things. Even if it would cost more.

Location was just what I needed for my stay - fairly central, but not too busy. I was happy that they had a public bath available that was open both in the evenings and in the mornings. Long check in times meant I wasn't rushed coming from my previous location.

Hotel staff were friendly! In the lobby you can preheat your conbini food and there is also a coin laundry! We used it and it was very easy to handle and worked fine! Room was big enough for two persons and 2 suitcases.

The place is in a great location, clean and good ammenities.

Rooms are a bit small and compact. Big suitcases will take up space and make it hard to move around the room. However, understand the accommodation is more designed for “business stays” than holidays and family groups.
