I have to preface that we've been to Japan many times..stayed at fancy hotels and lower quality ones. I picked this one for the following: 1. We love to cook at home so we picked this place because it had a kitchen. There is a grocery store at Sanjo much like the ones at CA so it was perfect. 2. We wanted to stay near the residents so if you are looking to travel to Kyotos tourist area plan to walk 20 minutea to Nishiki Market. Plan to an avg $20 JYP taxi to Gion. (we normally walk) but we have 3 kids so we took the taxi alot. 3. Pharmcy markets and 7 Elevens are 3 minutes away! 4. The place is big and washing machine is a plus (we washed our clothes everyday) 5. Centrally located 6. We would go back there.

1. The check in is cumbersome and confusing. 2. There is no front desk. Be prepared to call their info if you have any questions. We arrived a little before 8 PM and we called many times. 3. Stroller rentals are at the Kyoto Station. 4. This is not for everyone. If you aer looking for fancy this isn't the place.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They stored our bags free of charge before check-in and provided a shuttle bus to our accommodation. The apartment was as described and was quite spacious for 2 adults and 2 teenagers in a quiet location. We were able to store our bags after check-out at site and there were umbrellas available for use. The information booklet in the property was informative and the air conditioner and washing machine were well used in the hot weather. There were restaurants and convenience stores close by.

The only downside is that (with the exception of Nijo castle) you had to travel to reach any tourist sites. We mostly used taxis but there was an underground station and bus stops nearby.

Check-in desk close to Kyoto train station, made it easy for arrival by train. Fabulous and easy transport to our apartment in the Hello Kitty mini van. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, including a washing machine. The apartment had full instructions on how things worked and translations. Great location in a quiet street but not too far from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Vending machine and bike hire at the front door.

Having to check in at a different location was inconvenient for me. Not the fault of the hotel, but if you have noisy guests upstairs, you will hear them well. There is also a park next to it so kids playing may be an issue if you are looking to get a good rest. Deluxe room was quite dark during daytime so had to keep lights on.

This spacious apartment was perfect for our family of five. We had five comfortable beds, room to relax and unpack, a living space, mini kitchen, toilet room, and washroom with a shower and tub and a washing machine. The binder provided all the information we needed with English instructions. Everything was perfectly prepared for travellers. The location was good, in a quiet area but walking distance to shops and transit. The staff at the reception centre were lovely, and we appreciated the luggage storage and shuttle to the apartment.

The provided wifi worked well but only two of our devices could connect. The staff helped to troubleshoot for the other two devices, and gave us a password for another room. That wifi was not as reliable as it cut out frequently, but we made it work.

Yery comfortable and very clean apartment. There are lots of restaurants and other facilities within walking distance. The RESI checkin people have a very thorough and convenient system for checking in. They have thought of everything.

It's a good solid 4 large Kyoto city blocks to the nearest station. If you are looking for most restaurants, you will be walking 2 to 4 blocks at least to get to your restaurant. If it's full or closed, you can easily double that.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Kyoto, and the check-in process was incredibly convenient. The check-in counter is located right next to Kyoto station, making it perfect for those arriving by train. The hotel had us fill out the check-in form in advance, which made the process quick and smooth. The staff at the check-in counter were friendly, and we only had to wait a short time for our shuttle service to take us to the hotel. The shuttle driver was helpful and kind, even though he couldn't speak much English. He went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we needed. Our rooms were spacious and well-equipped. We stayed for several nights, and the hotel did not offer daily bed sheet and towel changes. However, the room came with a washing machine, so we could clean our towels ourselves. The hotel provided enough detergent for the entire stay. The bathroom had a drying AC system, which was very useful for drying wet clothes. The location was convenient for reaching Horikawa Road, with a convenience store nearby. However, getting to Karasuma Road required a longer walk, which might be fine for younger people but was a bit challenging for our family group, which included a baby, a toddler, a child, and elderly people. We ended up using taxis for easier transportation. Overall, I enjoyed the spacious rooms and the excellent customer service, especially during the check-in process. However, the location might be less convenient for those who prefer shorter walks to main roads or have family members with limited mobility.

The reception area is on a different location a bit far from the actual hotel but they offer free transport. The hotel is in a good location as well. There's convenient stores nearby. There's also a train station a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room is quite spacious. There's 1 big bed, 2 single bed, and you can also convert the sofa into a bed (the beddings are in the storage)

There's no area to properly hang clothes to dry, you just have to hang it in the toilet. Other than that, everything looks good. The reception being in a separate location was a bit inconvenient especially if you have a lot of luggage but they offer free transport to the hotel so it's not as bad as it seems. Oh, there's a city tax you need to pay during check-in. I think it would have been better if it's mentioned here, or I'm not sure if it was and I just didn't see it.

Everything is very new, clean and quite state of the art. Though we stayed 5 in one room, there was enough space for us to hang out separately. The decor and amenities and furnishings were high quality, and beds were super comfortable. Location within walking difference of several train lines, and shopping district, was very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet, many cool restaurants and eateries along the small streets leading to the main arteries.

Though there are a good quantity of windows for natural light, they are all heavily frosted so there is no view to the outside, which made me a bit claustrophobic but I got used to it. One can only open the windows a few inches to see outside (for example, to see if it was raining!) I would have really liked to see out to the neighborhood. Also, could have used another pot, cooking knife and cutting board for the kitchen.

The location of the property are superb, walking distance from bus station and subway station. The area is quiet and considered safe to walk in. The workers are very friendly and the provided shuttle service to the location is very prompt to action. The room is great, as the facilities are all well functioning and very well maintained.

The reception center for check in is harder than expected to find from Kyoto Station itself, especially if you trying to get there with just Google Maps. If possible, clearer information/guidance on how to reach the reception center will be great.
