The place was gorgeous and the location was amazing. The staff was very nice and were willing to accommodate us arriving early to hold our luggage. The amenities were amazing too - the heated floors, oidaki tub feature, the washer/dryer, even the ease of front door access/automatic locking - I could go on and on. Perfect combination of the traditional feel with modern tech.

Love it here, house is delightful with adorable interior and great location in Miyagawacho. Washing machine was invaluable, beds and pillows are like clouds. Staff gave free water and switched out towels every day. Traditional wet room, toilets and showers are separated thank god. Floors are heated, amazing! Tub so deep it fit us both. Quiet neighborhood literally 3 feet away from a beautiful temple. Will stay at this property again next year.

The only bad is that we couldn't ship our luggage from here, had to taxi to a Yamato location about a mile away.

Ideally located in the Gion area, the accommodation is calm, really beautiful and offers a glimpse of what would be to live locally there. With cafés around and transportation also it it great for visits. The staff is professional and helpful, very responsive as well.

I sleep on a futon at home but the one in the apartment were a bit hard. The bath was a little hard to use.

The property was incredible with what felt like a very authentic Japanese experience. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was great. The kitchen was equipped with materials to eat in. Loved it.

All was well. No complaints.

Location is great. Plenty of shops, restaurants and local attractions walking distance. The house is comfortable and spacious with the 2 separate bedrooms upstairs. The comforters were so nice and cozy.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful accommodation, which has a very traditional vibe yet offers all modern conveniences in a very central location - highly recommended!!

Authentic Japanese house with an amazing location close to shops, restaurants and the Nishiki Market.

After a long day exploring there is no where to relax. Ie a sofa

I couldn’t recommend this house more. The design is very well curated, it gives the idea of a Japanese traditional house. The host was nice, helpful and discreet.

This house is amazing, authentic. Location is great, staff was great, I wish we stayed longer.
