Nice, clean. Beautiful neighbourhood. Walking distance to some of the popular spots but not most of them.

Location is a bit far by train than I had expected, you needed to change to get to Kyoto station. I personally would stay closer to Kyoto Station specifically if you are coming by train/Shinkansen. The fact that the reception was not open 24/7 was troublesome. They had a number to reach out to outside the reception working hours but no one answered.

The staff was accommodating. We had an issue where we had to go to the hospital and they assisted us quickly. Additionally, we forgot an important document and they had messaged us immediately about it and kept it to the side. The washroom is well done, where the toilet and shower are in separate rooms and the toilet even has a little sink above it. Staying near the canal was great and there was a metro near by. The location was great for where we spent most of our nights.

I would like for the trash to be taken out regularly. They do have a sign to put on the door to take out the trash however when we put it the trash was still not taken out.

Very nice and spacious room with comfortable beds, great bathroom and amazing quite location in Gion area right next to lots of temples, food places, Yasaka Pagoda and 2 min away from the river. Very friendly and carrying stuff that helped us a lot! Highly recommend !

everything was great. things to pay attention to: there is no breakfast option at hotel no gym or spa as its a 3 star one, also since hotel is following the eco friendly program room cleaning happens once in 3 days - this program seems to be very popular in Kyoto hotels. I do not see any of these as a minus considering the accommodation/ price balance and hotel perfect location.

The location was perfect. Quiet and yet very walkable with transportation nearby. I want to be sure to commend the staff, they are exceptional! They always greeted us kindly and helped immediately with every request. They are all very nice and do a wonderful job. Beds very comfortable. The hotel had fresh cold water dispenser and a container for to refill, we liked that. They also had coffee and convenient little amenities to bring up to the room.

As for the room, we could not open any windows or see any real natural light. The room was a little musty as it is very humid and has carpet. We would have liked some place hook a towel or robe in the bathroom and shower areas. There is no bath bowl, just a stool. The coin op laundry didn’t dry very well so our clothes remained damp.

Great location on a quiet street, a few blocks from everything in the Geisha district. Many restaurants nearby. One coffee capsule per person per day is a bit stingy. Just raise the room price a tiny bit and give the coffee for free. Room was the smallest of our trip, but was OK. Nitta bakery several blks away was good for excellent breakfast rolls. there's a 7-11 two blks away. Beware of 7-11 ATMs. They sell you Yen only in USD so you end up paying an exchange rate from yen to USD in addition to your card's foreign exchange fee from USD to yen, and the ATM fee. None of the other combinis do this. An inexpensive cab ride to the Kyoto train station from the hotel.

Perfect hotel, room are bigger than japanese standard, location is amazing and close to temples area (10 min walk) Staff is helpfull, its clean, the room are nice 👌 to be honest nothing to say about this hotel. Its fire :)

- Check in at 16h...... this is a bit too much considering the checkout at 10 am. They say it when you book it however for me hotels in general are a bit abbusive by always providing late check in specially in Japan. You can still proceed for an early checkin from 14h but they will charge you 2k JPY per hour.

HOTEL WITH VERY HELPFUL, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF. STAFF SPEAK VERY GOOD ENGLISH. HOTEL HAS JAPANESE DETAILS, FOR EXAMPLE CERAMICS IN GLASS CASES IN THE CORRIDORS: NICE LOCAL TOUCH! GREAT LOCATION IN KYOTO NEAR IMPORTANT TEMPLES. GOOD RESTAURANTS NEARBY. BEDS AND PILLOWS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE. LIFT AVAILABLE. WE DID NOT FIND ANY ENGLISH ON THE TV AND ENDED UP WATCHING BASEBALL AND SUMO WRESTLING IN JAPANESE- WAS GREAT FUN AND ADDED TO THE JAPANESE EXPERIENCE! THANK YOU FOR A GREAT 4 NIGHT STAY IN KYOTO!

WE WERE HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING!

A small but comfortable hotel in a well situated location in Gion. I was particularly impressed with the helpful staff. They assisted me to make an appointment with an English speaking doctor in Kyoto. They also were extremely helpful in recovering some items I had left by mistake in the safe when I checked out. Staff recovered the items and mailed them to me at my home in Australia. This was all done with great efficiency and goodwill and honesty and I am very grateful to them.

The hotel has a policy not to refresh towels and bed linen daily. I have no problem with this. However, in other hotels with similar policy, it is usual to expect that staff will tidy the room, empty bins and replace items such as coffee and tea. This did not happen at the Rinn Miyagawacho Grande which I found disappointing. It is up to the guest to ask for this. I think when a guest is paying a large sum of money for a hotel room, such service should be expected without asking.

Staff very friendly and helpful with recommendations for travel, restaurants and helping ship luggage to a different hotel. There is coin laundry onsite which was nice for a long stay. Location very quiet and walking distance to many main attractions. 7-11 conveniently near by for food and drinks!

Small room, but that seems common in Japan. Bathroom good size, but the room was very crowded for 2 adults and 1 baby, with luggage and a stroller. Hard to walk to the bed and the door.
