Amazing location. Loved the very japanese style accommodation (ie small apartment). Fitted our needs for a family of 4 perfectly (kids aged 12 & 14yo) for 3 days. The 2 x queen size beds upstairs were extremely comfortable, and the living area was small but had everything we needed while exploring. The bathroom was perfect and satisfied our needs. It was quiet at night, and we felt very safe (Japan is very safe). Did I mention the location was superb? Right in the heart of everything. Will go back to this apartment in a heartbeat.

The stairs were a little steep and narrow. And it took us a little while to find the apartment at first.

It was a good location. Check in was easy! We got to Kyoto by 10am and they let us check in early. Quiet area so I tried to keep my 9 year from making too much noise, but we were gone most of the time and just slept there. Tons of restaurants and shopping. We were very busy all 5 days. The beds were comfy and the house was perfect for my family. The wifi was really good!

I did not like that we were only given 2 towels for my whole family. The message we received did say we would be charged for extra towels. I think that is a little crazy considering I had 5 people in my family. I think we should have at least received 5 for each family member.

The location was great for us. The host sent on a package with something I’d left behind and I appreciated that, I really had not expected that given the attitude of the man we met at the garage at check in. Thank you. It’s very small downstairs especially when you need to leave your luggage down there. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept in by far, 2x Q beds upstairs. So good I’d like one for home 😄

The fair haired man at the garage, eventually helped us but was reluctant. The alley you walk through to get to the apartment stank from seafood left outside from the restaurant at the front… don’t eat there. The stairs are too steep to take luggage up.

You collect the keys from the car park which was a bit odd but the guy was very friendly and we arrived slightly later than planned and it was no problem. Beds were so comfy (not common in Japan!) and wifi worked well. Really central in Gion so easy to walk for food and trains. Stairs inside are steep.

It does overlook the car park and on one night was noisy with motorbikes leaving but didn't ruin our stay.

Location is perfect. Pretty, old-ish streets to pass by on the way leading to Kyoto Central, which is only minutes away from the property. Also interior is modern & all spaces CLEAN. We had a very comfortable stay!

Steep stairs up to the 2nd fl, so luggages had to remain on ground fl. I wouldn't recommend if an elderly is in the party. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

The beds were big and comfy, the living room was nice, everything was clean. We were conveniently close to everything (nice historic streets, temples, shrines, but also the shopping area).

During the day, there wasn't much light coming in the house. But we were mostly back in the evening anyway so it was not a problem.

Large beds. Great location. Upstairs room feels spacious.

I think the space is missing table and chairs for eating and using laptop. TV is old.

Located in the middle of Gion area. Close to subways. One whole house for your self.

No basic amenities like soap, shampoo, etc.

A person was there waiting and able to let us into the apartment. He didn't speak English but was able to communicate expectations and directions. He made the effort and got us what we needed.
