This was the best hotel we stayed in our recent visit. The location was brilliant, very close to the main train station and centre of town, but was on a quiet road with a 7/11 shop on the corner. Very very handy.. The breakfast was brilliant and worth every yen. And the complimentary drinks bar 2 to 8pm was a lovely touch. We booked 2 rooms, a twin and a double. The twin was the better room, bigger with all the facilities required. The staff were very helpful, and I would totally recommend this hotel to everyone. IT WAS SO GOOD.

What I love about this hotel is the cozy coworking space: quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a writing retreat. The location is also great for both morning and afternoon relaxation, with calm surroundings that help you unwind and stay inspired. Plus, they serve drinks from 14:00 to 20:00, which is a lovely bonus for a relaxed writing session.

The room is comfortable, though it has limited space for hanging clothes not quite enough for a week’s worth of outfits. The pillow is quite low, but I still found it surprisingly good for a restful sleep.

The location was ideal, close to Kyoto station. Staff at hotel was welcoming and attentive. The facilities were modern and everything functioned well. Our room was compact and very tidy. Breakfast included a generous selection of both western and Japanese food. Free afternoon tea/coffee and drinks were available for guests.

The room was rather small for a couple travelling with two large suitcases. It was necessary to decide what to take out of the suitcases for a day or two and then store them under the bed, as floor space was minimal. With less luggage there wouldn't be a problem. Overall, the room was lovely and even had a view.

I specifically booked this place because of the Japanese breakfast, and it was everything I wished for. The location is extremely convenient from Kyoto Station. The room is quiet and compact with everything I need. There's a Welcome Drink hour with nice options.

Staff was pleasant, but communication in English was harder than expected in a major tourist destination. Fortunately translation apps can bridge the gap these days. The hotel appeared very clean, and I was surprised to find one hair on the shower wall.

Buffet breakfast was good value for money. Dishes were varied.

The front desk staff Ahn insisted that she had given me the breakfast coupons that I paid for and I said otherwise. I dont understand why she had to argue with me for 10mins (there were 4 coupons for our group of 4) when there would be.no benefit to us at all if I were lying. We were gonna stay for one night only. The hotel should train their staff on how to handle such conflicts ànd to always think of the customer's position while balancing with the hotel's interest.

The location is brilliant, just a short walk from Kyoto train station and an excellent AEON mall (complete with restaurants, a supermarket, bookshop, Daiso and Village Vanguard). Check-in and check-out was smooth, the complimentary toiletries were generous and the room was cosy, with a very comfortable bed and great view. As usual when it comes to accommodation in Japan, it was clean, felt safe and was highly convenient. We'd definitely come back again!

The walls were thin. Also the room was very small, which is to be expected in central Kyoto – and it was still well equipped and comfortable – but it's quite a squeeze for two people with large luggage and therefore perhaps a little overpriced. I suppose you pay for the brilliant location though!

It was a quiet location but with quick access to Kyoto Station. We appreciated the late checkout and storage lockers. We enjoyed the communal facilities and the extensive breakfast and self service Happy Hour. The staff were lovely.

A very contemporary Japanese style hotel with modern facilities. Rooms are equipped with all things you need even with charger for all type of USB and LAN cable. They also provide Panasonic hair dryer, hair and body shampoo, even skincare! Love the futon blanket and the pillow which I regret to purchasing it 😂 located just 5mins away from JR Kyoto station, making day trips to Osaka, Nara and Kobe super convienient

Menu does not have English version which makes ordering a little bit inconvenient, however the staff was helpful to translate and explain each dish

Location, best Japanese breakfast ever, a modern, clean and friendly place to stay. After staying 6 hotels in my 3 week holiday this is the best hotel in Japan ! Even have a complimentary bar from 2 to 8pm.

Two very small things 1. 4 coat-hanger is not enough, more are required 2. The mirror on the desk is too small and needs to be replaced with a larger one.

Modern hotel, new, well designed, offering wide variety of amenities. I liked the following: cleanliness; the room is designed very smartly; the possibility of sitting down in the lobby’s common place; both station and convenience store are right around the corner. It’s great that we could buy some tickets for Kyōto traffic at the desk.

The rooms are small, narrow. It’s difficult to operate a big luggage. The basin next to the bed (on the table) has both advantages and disadvantages. The lighting around it is poor.
