It's a newly renovated property fitted with top notch amenities and fixtures. We stayed in a theater suite. It was great to come back after a tiring day and relax watching a movie. It's has a washer and a dryer function in the bath . The beds were comfortable and the space was big enough for my family of 4 adults. Location wise it's a bit far from the kyoto station but plenty of busses. It is a 8 minute walk to umekoji station on the JR line. There's a 7_11 and a small green grocer nearby. On the whole we loved staying in the property. The staff at the central check in were really helpful and allowed us early checkin as the unit was cleaned and available. That flexibility was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this property.

Distance to kyoto station. Though cabs are plentiful and only 1000 yen to the station.

had to go to a different building to check in 5 mins for station. Not a problem and they did then give us a lift to the apartment. Apartment very large, very clean, futon area lovely. balcony. bus stop right outside, park across the road. Great instructions in english on how to use the washer dryer and the amazing drying bathroom. Really lovely base for kyoto as the buses are so easy or short walk to train. Would def recommend. Netflix was a hit with the kids after a long day exploring.

Info in the room contained restaurant details but these were out of date. did find some good ones locally though and 7/11 just outside for breakfast.

Wonderful and spacious room with huge king beds and a comfortable sofa-bed. Well equipped kitchen, smart toilet and good bathroom with heating. Also great value for money! I would definitely recommend Resi stay hotels!

Check-in is too complicated. We had to walk with all our suitcases from Kyoto station to the check-in location (nearly missed it) and from there walk another 20 mins to the apart-hotel. The location is a bit secluded, although in a nice quiet neighborhood with bus stop (207) in front of the hotel.

The keys were in a locked box, details were sent via email and with our very late arrival, 1am, the opening went extremely easy and we were in our apartment within 5mins.

We truly can't say anything bad, everything was just great, the size, the beds, bathroom, the laundry. You had everything at your fingertips. We pointed two minor things out on our last day to the main office, which he got onto right away, even though they were minor and just more of a common happening in households, and never were they a bother, he was extremely grateful to us for bringing the notice to him. So our 10/10 was rightly given, we are also hoping to book with Resi Stay again soon.

The location of the property was quite convenient and an easy walk from Kyoto station. There are several convenience stores and eateries within the area. It is also conveniently located close to the Kyoto Aquarium and the Railway Museum.

One of the sliding door panels inside the room was damaged, which meant I had to be careful when opening or closing that specific door. At night, there is a bright light shining from the air-conditioning unit situated right above the bed which you sadly cannot turn off. This can be a little bit annoying.

Thankfully, the information desk at the Kyoto station provided a map and highlighted the walking path to the building. Once at the building, the Resi Stay team was professional and courteous and made the experience much better.

Breakfast was not offered. Finding the office to check in took a lot of work, as my phone's Wi-Fi was having issues. I called from the station, and I was waiting for someone to answer the phone with the provided number. The automated message kept stating that it should refer to the email or website, yet that is impossible for travelers without internet access. Please consider adding the waking directions to the automated message.

Everything is just right for my family. Spacious and clean. Has a washer that comes with drying function. Our clothes came out hot and nice after 4 hours of washing and drying. Washing capsules are provided too.. We have issuing with the Netflix setup in our room and water heater issue. However the lady with bob hair cut at the reception counter go all the way out to help us solve them. Sorry I've forgotten her name.

The check in process was clearly communicated ahead of time and the shuttle made it seamless. The reception provided a little card with the address and simple map and it was SO nice to have for directing taxi drivers. The location was central to all the things we wanted to do. We stayed 4 nights and wished we could stay longer! The mix of standard beds and traditional Japanese mats was nice so our party had options.

There was a relatively large bathroom and a washing/drying machine in the room (with detergent). The tatami room provided a space to eat and relax. Beds were comfortable and was large enough to fit 2 people (per bed). While the check-in was in a location quite far from the actual hotel (although close to the main train station), they provided a free shuttle bus to the apartment.

The room was relatively small and the area around the kitchen was smaller than that in the picture (it fit 2 seats, not a sofa). There was also only 1 small closet to store all of our clothes. When people smoked, we could smell the smoke in our room (room 401), which meant that we could not open the windows. The location was around 15 minutes away walk from JR Kyoto station and there weren't many shops/restaurants nearby (except for Convenience stores).

We stayed in the family room. It was our favorite hotel room during our stay in Japan. The children loved the tatami room. The tv had access to Netflix which was great for the very rainy afternoon that we were there. Staff was helpful and had great English, there was also 2 free options for bag storage. If I ever go back to Kyoto, this will definitely my first choice.

The only thing that would improve the stay would be a breakfast place nearby but honestly the convenient store near by had everything we needed for that.
