Excellent location, walking distance from some temples and Nijo castle, Kyoto station and subway stations within 10 minutes walk, bus stop 5 minutes away. Staff were really helpful and friendly, hotel allowed me late checkout (fee applies) which helped me with my schedule. This was a great place for me to relax and use as a base for my travels, I would absolutely recommend! Was surprised to find there was a complimentary little breakfast, this was a delight and set me up for each day I spent in Kyoto (and beyond)

The combo shower, bathroom tap system was complicated and I ended up with either a shower that was cold or boiling hot, but I couldn't be bothered to mention it to staff.

It was a descent clean and comfortable room. Comfortable bed, nice little bathroom with clean towels every day. Had everything I needed for my stay in Kyoto. Easy to walk to the main station and other places around that most of us want to visit.

No wifi on the 9th floor where my room was. Not only was cutting down but sometimes there was no signal at all! Thankfully had my own data from mg phone provider. If wifi is something you need, you might end up with no signal at all at this hotel. Breakfast was really average. No cheese, no ham. Just some bread with margarine, strawberry jam and noodles. Apple and orange juice was available among with machine for coffee etc (machine could be used all day for free drinks). Staff barely speaks English but somehow there was a level of communication.

Very good localization - about 5 minut by walk to train station! I spent in this hotel 6 nights and I was okay. Morning possibility to drink cofee and eat tost and instant soup - was really nice (every day same but include in price).

Was a problem with water pressure and regulation of hot/cold. No possibility to leave luggage after check out. Before Check in that was no problem.

Location next to the train station - saved me time and money as I took a lot of trains to different destinations. Room is enough. The desk and chair very comfortable for some office work. Bed very good. Pillow - fantastic. Cleaning every 3 days and new towels every day. The small fridge was enough for the food I was buying.

Breakfast is bread and jam. Toast. I didn't use. But I did take a tea often. Very good tea. Also coffee avaluabe.

The room was clean. Cleaning only happened once every 3 days unless requested. They left fresh towels on the door handle every day. Heated toilet seat. Breakfast was toast, butter, jam, instant ramen, and soup. It was the best fluffy toast we had, and free coffee whenever. Location was a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station. Didn't see many staff and returning the room key was done in a machine.

Just beware breakfast ends at 9am.

A very convenient location close to Kyoto railway and bus station (you can use lockers for your luggage at the train station on the way back). Free and simple breakfast (ramen, toasts, margarine, marmelade, coffee/tea/orange juice). Elegant and modern bathroom including toilet with several very interesting water-cleansing functions.

A very small room. A window right by your head when you sleep in bed, which means you can't open the window at night (you can open it only a little bit anyway). Wifi without password.

Everythings are within the vicinity and light breakfast was offerred (ie. coffee machine and bread toaster) eventhough it was not mentioned during booking.

The extra taxes of Yen$200/night should have included in the booking price instead of separate charge upon check-in as it is abnormal practice as compared with other hotels. This may cause unhappy customer and bad comments.

Location, value, cleanliness, comfort: Just 5min walk from Kyoto station and several bus stops nearby. Standard business hotel setting, but everything was clean and very comfortable. I couldn't believe it was so inexpensive. Amazing value!

It's facing the big street, so some unruly drivers' noise woke me up. May want to bring earplugs.

I came from a capsule before this hotel. I really like that it is one room per person so this was my best stay for my entire trip. The place is roomy for one person and has a great pre manufactured bathroom unit. Towels, slippers, and room service was included!

There's an extra charge of 400 yen for the room key that I wasn't aware of but it's no big deal.

For its convenient location within minutes walking distance from Kyoto station, simple complimentary breakfast of toast/butter/jam and/ or plain instant noodle. Reasonably clean. Coffee machine in lobby for free coffee through the day.

Room is small. No space to place even a carry-on sized hardcase luggage. No disposable slippers. No kettle in room.
