First, the location can’t be beat! It’s two blocks away from Kyoto Station and there is a Lawson at the next corner. The AEON Mall is a short walk as well as Porta Dining, which offered many dining options as well as shopping! The staff are FANTASTIC! They are so friendly and understanding, esp since we ran into an issue with our travel plans and they were flexible in getting us back into our room for an extra night. There are three washers and dryers on site which was about 500 yen for a load. All in all, I’d definitely stay here again when we return!

The bathrooms can be considered small if you’re a tall or more heavyset person.

This hotel was excellent, the room was large with plenty of space for 2 adults and a 3 month old and a big suitcase and pram. The staff were so lovely, the beds and linen were super comfortable and we chose pillows from the pillow bar that were fantastic. The air conditioner was fantastic and wifi worked great. The room is thought out well to save space and make the most of the room. The location is great to the station and local restaurants and shops. About a 20 min easy walk to the nishki markets. Would definitely stay here again

Very close to Kyoto station, literally a 3-5 minute walk Lawsons on the next corner and a vending machine outside for drinks You collect the cosmetics you need from reception to save on waste Staff kept our bags before and after check in and even took them to our room for us once it was ready! 3 washing machines and 3 dryers with built in detergent. Good view of Kyoto tower Powerful showers Clean and comfortable I shared the room with a friend and we had 1 big rucksack each and there was plenty of room to open our bags and move around- rare for Japan I'm told!

Perfect location, couple minute walk from Kyoto station but far enough away to not get much noise and foot traffic. Staff were lovely and room/facilities were clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Really hard to beat this place in terms of location and quality for what you pay. Highly recommend.

Some noise can be heard from hallway when people are coming and going but nothing that isn’t normal in hotels.

Super easy to get to from the station, easy access to the bus lines as well. Hotel looked great inside with the styling, the amenities were fantastic: I LOVED the pillow bar, where you can choose from an option of different pillows to sleep on including 2 different Tempur pillows. Would choose this hotel again in the future.

Not that it was a dislike, but the breakfast options were limited so we didn’t choose to eat there. But an easy choice if you want a quick breakfast.

Room was spacious enough for us to be in with our big suitcases, short walk away from the station, Lawson nextdoor more or less. Friendly and helpful staff, lots of information about local goings on. You can request orthopedic pillows from reception and there's lots of different amenities to pickup from reception. Didn't try any of the breakfast or drink so can't comment. Was very affordable as well.

Hard to say there was anything we didn't really like if we are honest.

Even though it was a small room, it still felt spacious. Best small detail: backboard of the bed has a USB charging port, so you can directly charge your phone while lying in bed (also has a regular plug). It's also close to Kyoto Station, making travel throughout Kyoto incredibly accessible.

It's the Kyoto Tower Annex. I thought it was the hotel in the Kyoto Tower itself, but it's a smaller hotel a few streets removed from the actual Kyoto Tower. Sure this is my own fault, for not doing my research properly. BUT do not let the above statement make you think the Hotel is bad in any way, it was great!

The Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex is a modern and stylish hotel with a sense of class, comfortable bed and a good size room for value. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety. Location was excellent with a short walk to Kyoto main station and many local convenience stores nearby.

The only downside was hot breakfast is pre-selected and served to you, no choice of hot meal. Despite this, it was well cooked and delicious.

Exceptional hotel right next to the main train station in Kyoto. For the price we got a spacious room (in Japanese terms) that was absolutely clean and up to every standard. The staff spoke English very well and kept our luggage before check-in time and sent it to our room as soon as it was ready. The value for money is absolutely incredible here and I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here if they want to travel around Kyoto and vicinity. Rooms were absolutely quiet and there are multiple shopping, restaurant, and convenience store options right in front of the hotel.

I really couldn't say anything bad about the hotel, maybe the wifi could have been a bit faster, but it worked for basic purposes and even streaming.

Location is great...near the Kyoto Station & Kyoto Tower. Convenience stores & coffee shops are nearby. A food court can be found at the basement of the Tokyo Tower Hotel as well as all the restaurants in Kyoto Station. Rooms & amenities were adequate given we were out most of the time.

We tried their breakfast on our first morning. It is not a buffet breakfast which was disappointing. Pastries, coffee, juice & milk are available for self service & unlimited. A main meal is served. For the rest of our stay we had breakfast at the various coffee shops around the area.
