What a fun place! It was so pretty, decorated with lights at night and the property was really lovely. If we had planned a lil better we’d have loved to try the mini train on the property. Speaking of it’s great for kids! Our lil guy loved the hammock swing in the room and the futons were comfortable. Everything was very modern and high tech. If you need something you can go to the lil building and grab any amenities you need. Often a person will appear to offer help though much is pretty self serve. So cute the checkout process too. This would be a great place to stay and enjoy the property. You certainly can just use for sleeping too though, it’s close enough to a city bus or you can use taxis to get downtown it’s not expensive or far. We enjoyed being a lil rural in country away from the hustle personally. There was a lil park for our kid too very close. There was helpful info for us in a binder too. Great fur first timers to area and Japan! We would definitely return.

The unit was clean and well kitted out, and the property was delightful overall, with cute attractions for kids. Very family orientated. We found it easy to find as their were signs at every turn from the local bus stop. We loved being in a suburban neighbourhood. We ordered take-out to be delivered if we didn't want to go out for dinner..the menu with all the options was provided. Staff had good English so that made checking in very easy., but it was possible to self check in too.

We loved everything..nothing to not like, although if you feel unsure about using local transport, it might not be for you. But we found it easy. Just avoid the usual peak hour times when transporting your large luggage, or get a taxi.

The location, although about 5-6k outside of Matsumoto city center, was very quiet, serene, and peaceful. I felt very comfortable going on runs in the morning between the farms and fields and my dog loved going on walks at sunset and looking for frogs. The amenities were very cute and well set up- the hammocks and chair swings and outdoor dining areas were all great additions to the property. They had a full booklet of local restaurant recommendations, which were great. They also had a projector and HDMI cable setup so you could stream movies or TV right onto the wall. It was a really nice place to spend a couple of days.

The way the room was designed, there was just a couch downstairs and all the beds were on an upper ledge which you needed to take a ladder to get to. it stressed my dog out to have me up there and her on the couch, so I had to carry her up the ladder, which was a bit treacherous. Also, the bathrooms were not directly attached to the room so I got caught in a cycle of putting my shoes on to walk three steps outdoors to get to the bathroom, only to take my shoes off again to use the bathroom, then put them back on for the three steps back to my room. I probably should have brought sandals.

The kids squealed with delight as they walked into the room. The climbing wall and swing chair helped get some of that 5 year old energy out in the morning and before bed. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Facilities in the room made the stay super comfortable. And convenience items were available at the front desk.

We had a car and this made access easy for us, if you didn't then public transport options would be limited. No complaints from us though. It was great.

Very kid friendly with rock wall, swing chair and a train that you can sit around the property. Japanese style futons made it easy to sleep with a toddler. Clean and nice rooms. The feel of the property is wonderful - the lights at night and the flowers and trees around made it a very nice place to stay. The staff and owners are also very friendly and always willing to help. Recommendations in the guest book are also good - we went to a few recommended places and we weren’t disappointed.

This is a very unique setup like a mini holiday chalet for families. Can imagine kids would love a getaway here, even has a rock climbing wall... In your room! (For some rooms only).

Location isn't great if you want to access Matsumoto's attractions unless you're driving. As the rooms are setup for small families, there's a kitchenette area, which I felt took up a lot of space. My room was on the second floor, and luggages had to be carried up a fairly narrow staircase.

Everything was wonderful. The owner was super friendly and chatted with us for a while. His English was exceptional! The room we stayed was clean and tidy. Love the skylight window inside the room. The owner designed a train track running around the building. The train operated in the morning. The owner would personally drive the train for my little one. The open area was warm and comfortable too. We bought some breakfast from the night before, warmed them up in-room and brought them out to eat. It was such a nice and cozy mini resort. And I cared about laundry too. L-Based provided a coin-operated washing machine and dryer in the common area. Very reasonably priced.

The location was good with a free car park and quiet surrounding area. We travelled by car so it was very convenient to go anywhere from there. The room was clean with a hammock to relax. There was a coin-operated washing machine in common area with detergent. The kitchen was very good. The owner was so kind and gave my children small lovely chocolate chunks. We enjoyed our 3-night stay so much.

My child chose this room because of the climbing wall and she likes it as expected Although the hotel is self serve, but the staff is very helpful when needed 5-10min drive to supermarket and some nice restaurants ...Nice kitchen for praparing breakfasts Have a beautiful lavender farm.We have received a bunch of lavender from a lovely old man...Thank you very much
