This is the best hotel we stayed in Nagano. Apart from unlimited ice cream, the hotel offered delicious welcome cake with tea and coffee. The breakfast is 10 out of 10! We enjoyed the spa as well. The room is very new and seperate bath and toliet. Will definitely come back and stay!

The location is just 6 minutes from Nagano station, also close to the bus terminal for the ski resort we were heading. The public bath at the top floor was very relaxing with free ice bars. Good breakfast buffet.

There were only one set of two towels (one large and one small) for each person. Suggest an extra hand towel for the bathroom.

The free cakes and free ice bars are simply unbeatable! Each registered guest gets one piece of cake for each night of stay, and unlimited ice bars from the fridge. For us, a family of 4 for a stay of 3 nights, that means 12 pieces of cakes! And just me alone I've had a dozen ice bars! This is so hugely fun for kids!

The hotel was obviously showing age. The room was functional, but visibly outdated. Air conditioning was very inadequate even for average summer days, partly due to the overly powerful ventilating fan in the washroom. Wifi was free but slow. The public hot bath was a nice addition, but it wasn't onsen water. Talking about the public bath, I don't know why but during our visit, the women's bath was often very crowded, but not so for the men's bath. Thought the service from the staff was fine. So, the free cakes and ice bars were a huge fun, but the comfort of the room has left something to be desired. Still, it serves the purpose of a hotel stay just fine.

I’m muslim from Malaysia and we muslim prohibited to drink or eat any haram food such ask that contain alcohol, emulsifier froom pork,meat, chicken. It really unfortunate for us not to try your pastries or anything that you offer. I would love it if one day if any muslim came to your hotel and can try your muslim friendly pastries. Im looking forward for it.

Convenient location. Friendly staff - free cookies for kids. Onsen is nice addition.

Dated decor. Breakfast very full need to line up.

Location, quality, view, room size, onsen, free welcome pastries and ice-creams everyday! On a nice day you can see the mountains of shiga kogen and hakuba from the lobby of the onsen! It's a few minutes walk from nagano station but is located in a more quiet area. 711 convenient store just across the street.

Maybe install a drinking water machine? Tap water is ok but having it filtered by a machine could be better. Maybe provide some paper cups in the onsen as well.

The twin room was quite big given Japanese standards. We loved the welcome sweets, the bath and the free ice cream. Super close to the station and easy to find.

This is only a minor thing but given the size and international flair of the hotel (frequented well by non Japanese, too) it would be good if the reception staff could speak at least basic English.

Hotel was a very short walk from Nagano JR Station and free ice cream pops (many flavors to choose from) were available through the stay Hotel guest only Onsen was on the 10th floor with a nice view! Breakfast was a good spread of basic western and Japanese savory items as well as Chateraise cakes and yogurt or pudding!

Suprisingly its spacious with also a spacious bath tube. You can choose one cake for tea time.. my kids love the ice cream treat and it is also included in the package. The hotel is really close to the station. Breakfast is really delicious. Looking foward to go here again next year with my whole family…

We stayed in a Japanese style room as we are a family of 4. The room wasn’t very big but it was comfortable. We enjoyed the welcome cake and the free ice cream and there was an assortment of snacks at the counter. The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The location was great for the train station.
