Nice hotel. Room was as per pictures and was clean. The size was quite big compared to kther APA. They had a really good system to leave luggage before check-in and after check-out. Staff was very helpful, friendly and polite. One couldn't speak English and kindly used a translation app to communicate with us. Laundromat discount available if you stay at the hotel.

Not a big negative but it's a short walk to the station. Just something to consider if you have to carry luggage. Pillows were super flat for some reason?

A short walk from the station (10 mins). Close to restaurants. It’s an old style hotel, but everything worked the way it should. The bathroom had a bath and it was possible to have a stand up shower ( not always a given in Japan). The rooms are compact, so there is no space for large suitcases, so if you have a lot of luggage you will struggle.

Everything was how it should be, so no issues.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. They provided all of the amenities we needed. A short walk from the station or there is also a huge parking lot across the road if you drive. The staff was very nice.

The room is VERY small, which for us wasn’t a problem! It’s just a good thing to keep in mind if you don’t want to be too close to your friend. The pillows were terrible though.

All you can expect from an APA hotel, in a good way of course. It was a last minute booking but I was still able to get it for a great price. Heated toilet seats are a godsend during the snowy times.

The hallway echoed very easily and I heard everything like people returning to their rooms or talking when trying to sleep. The elevator does not require a keycard to activate from the lobby, I didn't feel as safe as I did in other hotels.

Location is around 5mins walk from station. Everything is available in the hotel like washing, drying and ironing. Staff is super friendly. Its value for money and also includes large LED TV. It was convenient to stay at this hotel with family.

Nothing really. But just a suggestion If there was sauna or spa available then I wanted more info about it.

The staff were very friendly. It was clean everywhere. There was a working TV in the room. The WiFi worked perfectly. They provided toiletries and the shower was hot. The location was great, it was a short walk to the train/bus station, shops and restaurants.

Nice hotel near the railway station. Short Walking distance to the temple . Quiet room . Very clean with amenities in the bathroom. I am not complaining about the size as we all know in Japan the rooms are on the smaller side .

Comfy bed. Beautiful lobby in an otherwise ugly town. Ski shuttle bus leaves from the front door. APA hotel’s standard amenities. A supermarket across the street.

A bit of a walk from the station, especially where it snows in Nagano. Very early breakfast with very limited options, no bread, and terrible coffee. Generally breakfasts are never worth it in Japan. Better to sleep in and get something from the supermarket.

Extremely small rooms. We were there for skiing and I’m glad we at least had a car to have our gear in, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to fit in the room.

Conveniently located near Nagano Station. The room comfortably fit 2 people. I loved the Japanese breakfast. I would recommend this.
